GRUMP is the most under valued coin on the market. If you're smart you'll buy up the cheap coins while it lasts-- cause it's not going to last. The price will be going up. Look at comparable coins..... there's a ton of growth to be had here.
We need to PROMOTE, MARKET and ADVOCATE for the GRUMP!

Hello all GrumpyCoin holders. Please wake up :-)!
We have talked about future of GrumpyCoin last days. So this is what we are doing and we give some news about GrumpyCoin:
X11
I have spent analyzing code last days, comparing Megacoin code, latest Bitcoin Core 0.9, Dogecoin with Bitcoin 0.9 and our grumpycoin wallet and reading about X11.
X11 is easy to implement on a new coin but I have decided to follow Litecoin developers statement you can find at https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=18166.0.
There will be no X11 algorithm change on this coin with current coin parameters and created by GrumpyCoin community. If GrumpyCoin will use X11 it will be as a new coin. If any good news appear later we might change the decision.
Bitcoin 0.9
Bitcoin 0.9 upgrade looks really good and the biggest advantage is that you can compile wallet easily on OSX Maverick. It has lots of new features and needs to be tested but not first priority right now.
Good news for Android fans!
Crypto Currency Converter app available at Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=za.co.fuzz.onlinecurrencyconverter will add GrumpyCoin.
Could be ready in a week we were told by the developer today.
Next focus will be non wallet and probably in this order:
Payment solution
We want you to be able to use your coins more than selling them on an exchange.
Coin game
will check faucet code and other code to be able to integrate our games with GrumpyCoin :-).
Facebook GrumpyCoin tipping app
will have a look at https://apps.facebook.com/wpdogetipping/ and other solutions.
So more focus on Facebook reaching a lot more people.
Block explorer stats
will do some bitcoin abe development to present richest GrumpyCoin holders.
Also some account changes at our social network will be announced soon.

Some wallet progress,
I downloaded Bitcoin 0.9 source and can now compile this wallet on OS X Maverick 10.9.
Compiling OS X wallet has been complex before but they have now finally made it easy and also dropped support for older OS X. No more OS X Virtual machine installation with older version. It just works :-).
There are lots of changes in this new version including payment request. If you have some experience with this please let us know.
Current wallet uses very old code but it is some work to test.
Analyzing now if it is easier to implement X11 in Bitcoin 0.9 source.
Also contacted an Android developer today. Hope to get a positive answer soon.

I have just sent 10M GRUMP to Mintpal and everything worked fine. Using new wallet ver. 2.1.
Wallet is syncing OK as well.

Guys, how do I import the old private keys from my previous address to my new grumpycoin address, where is the option?
I need this because it is a possible solution to my lost grumpycoins that were probably sent to the wrong fork...

Maybe you could import only file wallet.dat or send money from old wallet to new one. First make wallet.dat backup

Have i lost the coins i have mined? sent over a million coins & none where received, i see the new wallet & hard fork info but these where sent and mined prior, can give the details if required, mintpal say : Did you update to the latest wallet and ensured you are on the right fork? We're not seeing it on our end & also You may need to add the new nodes to your conf file if you haven't already.

What pool did you mine them on?
solo mined them just looked at the transactions on the block explorer so i know they are good.

Goddamnit guys I have updated my config file with the text in the new FAQ.
I have sent 30million Grumpycoins to my GRUMP Mintpal address and it has been all day and I haven't received them
Are they just lost? is there anything I can do right now? In my address it says transaction confirmed, but nothing. haven't recevied

This seem to be a Mintpal issue so you should contact MintPal support first. If you still have problems you can contact us so we can check you transaction at the block explorer. Also double check you sent to correct address.
