Hmm, you all make my Asus 1060 OC3G with micron (I suspect) memory which I payed less than €3K for (at the highest boom) as a steal.
9 of them average at 210MH/s ethash (claymore on simplemining.net, and memory dialed back a little from max, never tested plain values).
3GB is enough on Linux for etherium until it goes PoS, then do something else.
How I managed to get 10 (one died after a month)  with the same memory form 5 different suppliers is a mystery.

I am using GTX 1060 EVGA ssc 6GB with dstm zcash miner and overclocked
Got below results is it good
Any one have any suggestions

GPU0 58C 73% | 318.4 Sol/s 326.7 Avg 175.0 I/s | 2.72 S/W 118 W | 0.76 99.3 179
GPU1 48C 73% | 342.5 Sol/s 337.9 Avg 181.0 I/s | 2.83 S/W 117 W | 0.79 99.6 189
GPU2 57C 73% | 335.6 Sol/s 335.1 Avg 179.5 I/s | 2.81 S/W 117 W | 0.75 99.7 176
============== | 996.5 Sol/s 999.6 Avg 535.4 I/s | 2.79 S/W 353 W | 2.31 99.5 181

Those look good to me. I have a EVGA GTX 1060 6 Gig with Micro memory and I get about 295 Sols. Looks like your SSC card is killing it.

I am also looking or a solution for my Palit GTX1060 card which has Hynix memory too.
Instead, I let it mine with zcash as it can reach 320 sol/s EWBF zcash miner.
I can only manage to get 19.x MHs if overclocked at +490 - +500.

I got x6 1060 6GB Palit recently. All with samsung memory.
x4 cards with 86.06.45.00.23 vbios version and
x2 cards with 86.06.39.00.12 vbios version.

86.06.39.00.12 shows 20 MH/s in stock, but
86.06.45.00.23 only 15 MH/s in stock.

Im going to flash all cards to 86.06.39.00.12

Looks like there is nothing wrong with bios version. Just find out that x4 my cards with hynix memory. And that is why it shows only 15 MH/s in stock. Damn hynix...

So you have tried flash 86.06.39.00.12 to your Hynix card and still return the same 15MHS result?

Hello

Got my first two rigs :

Mobo : Asus strix H270F
GPU : GEFORCE GTX 1060 6GB OC
RAM : 8GB
HDD : 120GB SSD
PSU : 850w
CPU : intel

I am getting funny results using last Claymore  miner on Windows 10 fully updated, newest drivers. Getting 14,7 - 15,2 i even get 13 Mh/s sometimes.

Iv tried with Windows 7 64bit with full updates and same results.

Tried with 1, 2 ,3, 4 GPUS no success.

I dont want to OC them yet, because they should do 19MH/s.

Can you guys help please

Benjamin

I shall sell the video cards and buy 1070 instead of 1060. You can get 27 Mhs for 1070 gtx. Getting more you can only overclock you geforce 1060.

Use ethminer optimized for 1060, recent updates ethminer is pushing 1060 to 29Mh/s for some. Claymore is not good
do you have a linl for that? TIA

ok I tried doing this with nvflash...couldn't get it to work. "Board ID Mismatch" error

Has anyone tried flashing VBios 86.06.39.00.96 on the slow Zotac cards? It may work, but it has its risks.

"The tiny conspiracy theorist in me says GFX companies are intentionally throttling recent GPUs in mining applications so that miners leave the stock alone for gamers. Reviews for dedicated mining GPUs have just gone online"

I sent an email to Zotac support with Serial Numbers and VBios of both fast and slow cards. Just got their reply and here it is:

Dear Sir,

After our engineer studies, two cards are made from different batch.
The cards are carrying different memory chips.
The performance different may be caused the memory performance.

The VBIOS is designed for particular memory.
Therefore, you cannot swap the VBIOS  to another card.

GPUz shows both cards have Samsung chips, however Zotac says they are different, although they didnt specify which one has what.  I have asked them to clarify as both cards show they have Samsung chip.

I went ahead and swapped the 6 cards I had with ZOtac GTX 1060 single fan mini with the vendor. See if its perhaps possible at your end.

I had the same problem until I figured out to set priority realtime to EthDcrMiner64.exe in task manager.

Hope it helps.
