Why would people use gaming GPU rather than those that are specifically developed for mining?
Thank you!

The re-sale value. For whatever reason you would like to sell your gpu, you have a market still interested in the gpu. After you mined if of course it will be worn down, but gamers can still use them and therefore still take advantage of them. But when a mining-only gpu worns down or its hashrate is not profitable anymore, no one will be interested in buying it second hand. It becomes useless and with no re-sale value. Also the guarantee of the mining-only gpus I've seen is very short, like 3 months or so.

If you don't use a gaming gpu for mining anymore you can still enjoy it's display benefits.

Three days ago I switched to the NiceHash and I chose to mine only CryptoNight.
With the four GTX 1070 my speed is ~2.50 kH/s. and the power consumption is ~400W.
After three days, my unpaid balance shows 0.003038 BTC.

If Gtx 1070 have Samsung memory of course Eth. But if Gtx 1070 have hynix memory, then Zec better. I think.

I have both of them and all of my gtx 1070 give me 31Mh/s(eth) with overclock: Mem clock +600 and Core CLock -200

I've actually been bouncing around more lately because of a lot of the new coins and the fire that bitcoin has started.  Zcash is of course very good if you just want to keep it simple.  But look on the announcement page and check out some new coins.  There are still some new coins coming that aren't all premine or airdrop.

i actually want to ask this question. in fact i build my PC for Gaming, but i want to mine if i can.
i have tried mining zcash with this graphic card , but i don't know how much profit i get, i never tried to mine 24 hour because i was worried if my graphic card are quickly demaged.

mining 24 hrs won't hurt that much on your GPU.

Its an estimate and constantly changing depends on the difficulty and coin price. right now, probably yes

If I had one GPU I will mining AEON or Monero otherwise it's take so long time to profit and maybe cannot make a profit because the power consumption will decrease coin you get.

If you have only one GPU, good luck.

Tip:

Aim for any new coin and hope you picked the right one.

What's the best coin/algo you can mine right now with a GTX 1070?

nVidia GTX 1070 are the bests GPUs to mine.
Ethereum is still profitable and tu upgrade your results, you have absolutely to dual-mine with SiaCoin and minimize the power comsuption to the minimum (100 or 115 W it's depends of the manufacturer) : the hashrate will not decrease.

Ethereum seems to be the best coin to mine with a GTX 1070 so far, it consumes about 15 watt less than when mining Zcash which is the second best coin to mine. I did my test at a rig of some friends with my watt meter and it showed a 15 watt energy consumed less for a card. For one card there is not a lot of difference but for 6 of them it's almost 100 watt cheaper per hour and it makes a difference in countries with expensive energy cost.

Maybe when Bitcoin gold comes out it will be a good coin to mine as it will be new and based on Equihash , an algorithm where Nvidia excel at mining.

I had a very similar result with energy consumption when it comes to Zcash and I agree that Zcash is the second best coin to mine with the 1070 card, but according to me I still think that ETH is more cost-effective. Do you perhaps know how to mine BTC Gold? Which mining program to use and how to setup the rig or it's too early for such information.
