Read through the other thread you posted in and follow my trail, I tried several different things to get 2 to work together and never had any luck.  You could try the same things, but chances are you'll just be wasting your time.  Do you have 2 computers to each run one?

I needed to set my bat file to:
cgminer.exe -o solo.antpool.com:3333 -u userid_X -p 123

Instead of
cgminer.exe -o stratum.antpool.com:3333 -u userid_X -p 123

I was wondering what is the difference?
They should both work, AntPool has many servers with different names and port numbers. That is unless something has changed recently and that address has stopped.

I'm not looking to overclock but I'm guessing this command is for that purpose right or something else?
It depends what (and who's) version of cgminer you're running. If what you have works then stick with it.

Hi Thank you.
I will stick to my current configuration then. But I'm running cgminer 4.9.2

I was busy opening a new thread, but maybe you can help me has I can not find a fix, only people complaining of the same.
How do I connect two Antminer U3 on the same computer?

I tested then separately first to make sure each one is working. I confirmed that, and no errors. All working fine.

When I connect both antminers I start getting error:

Any suggestions?

PS: Both U3 are directly connected to my Windows XP machine, no hub in the middle

Antpool
Code:
cgminer.exe -o stratum.antpool.com:3333 -u dogie_U3 -p 123

Hi,
Got my very first antminer U3 miner today Smiley

I got it working fine and easy thanks to this great guide, Thank you.
I did need to do something different for it to work.

I needed to set my bat file to:
cgminer.exe -o solo.antpool.com:3333 -u userid_X -p 123

Instead of
cgminer.exe -o stratum.antpool.com:3333 -u userid_X -p 123

Has pointed out in this thread.
I was wondering what is the difference?

Also while searching around for solutions I found some posts that have added parameters to the command line.
In fact, one of the sources I found was antpool page:
https://www.antpool.com/support.htm#help_2_3
They provide this example:
cgminer.exe --bmsc-options 115200:0.6 -o solo.antpool.com:3333 -u antminer_1 -p 123 --bmsc-voltage 0800 --bmsc-freq

I'm not looking to overclock but I'm guessing this command is for that purpose right or something else?

don't use cgminer and zadig driver ... is a solution.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.11626607

clean the zadig install : http://www.smallbulb.net/2013/287-detaching-ms-windows-libusb-driver
install a "COM" virtual port (yes, a old and very strong serial port)
install BFGminer

I cleaned up the factory thermal paste application and reapplied it correctly on all 3 of my U3s.  It made a little difference, each one runs 1-2gh faster than before when run solo, which I can attribute to better heat dissipation.  But it made absolutely no difference (as I expected) in more than one working when plugged in at the same time.

So now I think I've tried everything.  Anyone else have any ideas?  Undecided

The last thing now is to try a different computer or host to see if you can wittle the problem down to controller or U3s.

I've tried on two computers, I guess I could try on others.  The two I use are both kinda old and Run WinXP SP3, so maybe I need to try a current machine/OS combo and see if that makes a difference.

I feel like a crazy person that I can't get more than one to work.  I can read through threads and see that it is possible, but I just can't seem to find a break.

Got a U3 today and can't get cgminer to recognize it. Computer knows it is there, driver is correct. Tried it in direct usb2, powered hub 2, and usb 3.

Installed cgminer 4.9 instead of the newest one and it works now.

Yup, I pointed that out in a couple other U3 threads, I think in the official cgminer thread, too.  cgminer 4.9.1 will not see U3s, but 4.9.0 will.  Send in your bug report, hopefully it can get picked up next build.

USB hub received, I hooked it up to my power supply, plugged in one U3 and it worked just fine.  Plugged in the second and ERROR.  Quit and restarted with them both plugged, more ERROR.  They both hash together at about 30gh each (down from 59 alone), but with constants errors as below.  So what else could it be?  (I unplugged one USB toward the bottom, I think that's what the last 3 lines are starting to show)

Is that a powered USB hub?

Yes, 12V DC off my computer psu.

Just ordered the mother of all usb hubs, if they don't work with this then the hub ain't the problem:

That's definitely using MTT chip  Smiley
Get the power from your 850 psu will be perfect  Wink

Do you know if 1 pair of yellow/black from pci-e will be enough?  Two pair?  Says it needs between 7v-26v DC.  Thanks.

Yes, 1 pair should be enough.

These miners seem really interesting. Thanks for posting this setup guide also. I remember the U1, and they came a far way in terms of hashing power.
