HEY. What should I draw conclusions from the data? ICO :https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5037197.0 . A team of 4 people. Linkedin link in one does not work. I did not find the rest with the help of the listed tools. What with the rest? can it be that there is not a single mention in the networks? or are they real? And if they are real people, then what about the last-fake?

Hey, I see that you are searching for a quality content that will encompass all the necessary steps required for launching an ICO in practice. Online articles and tutorials seem very inconsistent and impractical, however if you’d like to REALLY comprehend what ICO stands for, and how to get involved with it, please go to https://coinpoint.net/ico-guides and you will be able to take a glimpse at the proficient step-by-step Guide for ICO Launchers & Investors.

In addition to the tools you mentioned, let me add one more. It is wayback machine.

Basically, this site allows you to look how a web page looked in the past. Suppose we have a new scam project at abc.com and they claim 100% daily returns on every investment. Now they keep changing their terms quite often on their website to lure more people. You can catch them with this tools. Similarly, you can check other suspicious activities like frequent change of teams for the project on their site.

Whoa this is awesome! I rarely have the time to browse the forum and this would really help determine which bounty to join. I also noticed that COINECT and XEONFRAME are proven scam thanks to you and these sites. Would it be too much if i'd ask you to check KONIOS as well? It's also a Wapinter managed campaign and i'm really scared considering how much time i've been here.

Thanks! Much appreciated!

There's no need to waste time looking for all of them. I can tell it just by looking at the website and its presentation. If the website looks like it is made by a 5 year old with tweaked WordPress themes, then you know what that means. But if its quite good then I dug deeper into each of the member's profile for red flags. If there's none getting caught red handed, I still don't invest in their ICOs without getting enlisted in exchanges first.

I am a simple dude. I find any legitimate tokens on exchanges, I trade. Wink

It's great to hear that you are much expert regarding ICO. I appreciate your idea. Actually the reson of this post , I have caught some ICO recently with fake team. Then many people asking me how to find. So I thought to share that process how I found. It's not for investor only, it's help for bounty hunters also. I am also same to you. Even legit ICO I am not much interested to invest. But some time it's happened and I have never loss any ICO. Currently most of ICO is scam or can't reach soft cap. So better avoid now.

Recently most of scam ico use fake team from google or some other website and stock image. I have found multiple scam ico with fake team. Also other member found the same case.
Fake photo use means scam. Because they don't want to come on front. How they will come ? They had planed for scam. Actually no team is there just one or two persone create a website for token sale and stolen money from market. Those I will find with fake team I will mark them a pure scam. I don't care what is on their mind.
Check this link for Example : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ongoing-scam-ico-list-eosgas-scam-be-aware-update-040818-4467496

I want to share how I found due to many people asking for share. Even its very simple but maximum people lazy or don’t have idea about how to find fake ico team members.

Below are some useful website will help you to find out fake photo.

1) http://www.reverse-image-search.org   and https://www.duplichecker.com/reverse-image-search.php
This both are most effective website for search revers or similar photo on web. Because by uploading one time you will able to search 3 mega search engine website- Google , Bing and Yandex. Simply you can search by photo or URL.

2) https://www.tineye.com
This website will search your photo Searched over 29.3 billion images on web. You can search by upload photo or URL

3)  https://www.everypixel.com/
This is the powerful tools for search fake photo. If ICO team buy photo from any stock image agencies this website will help you find photo across 50 Stock image agencies. You will able to search by upload image or URL.

4)  https://reverse.photos/
Search only from google . You can search only by uploading image.

5)  http://imgops.com
By this website at a time you will able to find picture on google • bing • tineye • reddit • yandex • baidu• so.com • sogou . Upload image or input URL both are working.

6)  http://www.pictriev.com
interesting website for search image . It will show how many % match with your uploaded pictures. URL and photo upload both is allow.

7)  https://pimeyes.com/en/
This website will also show you how many % match with your original photo. URL and photo upload both are allow.

Above all website I have used and check.  All are working good. Hope it will help us to find scammer. If we work and search together hope we can minimize scam on this forum. Let's fight against scammer.

Hi there. From your list I only knew tineye that I have been using before, bu never came to conclusion that I can use it for ICO checking. Good tip. Wanted to ask you which one you find the best amd why (since they all pretty much do the same job)? Thanks

This is very useful in identifying fake teams who use fake LinkedIn profiles, and this is very rampant in ICOs these days.

Thank you for posting this and this will help in detecting possible ICO scams easily.

Kudos to thread starter!
