With the Crypto rises there are more and more phishing sites! Cryptonite can help you with protection of your assests! It has many features, but folks don't know all of them or even this addon that's why I decided to write this guide.

What Metacert Protocol and Cryptonite can do

• Show green shield when you visiting verified site 🛡️
• Block access to scam and phishing sites 🔒
• Check url with Metacert Telegram bot ✅
• Check wallet address if it's not phishing one 🚫
• Show green shield on verified Twitter accounts ��️

I've got verified my own Mining Bios shop, you can check the shield should be green there. I did it because others try to create the same shop and maybe scam people, so now everybody can verify that they visit the one and only bios shop created by Mattthev.
Few customers also sent ETH to another wallet, I've checked the gateway plugin and it was not a problem with it. They had some trojan virus infected PC and when they copied the wallet address it was actually diferrent one. So they send ETH to different wallet. It only happend with ETH, don't know how many cryptos have this similar virus. But many of this wallets should be already reported to Metacert and before you send crypto you can check it with Metacert bot if it's reported as phishing wallet. Also double check that the address you copy paste is the exact one that is written from where you copy it.

Beware of block explorers, it detects only website url not the wallet so if you check the wallet on etherscan it shows you green shield even it's phishing address! https://etherscan.io/address/0x094e85b6729919a26526a4710eb7ddaea9bf5e7a - Phishing address, but url etherscan.io is verified so shield is green! Hope they will work on this also.
