Thanks Smiley I also joined the slack, so will alway be up to date. Smiley

The guldenshares page does not really show a lot of explanation. Is it collective mining or something?

GuldenShares is all about Project Hybrid. More info you can find at https://community.gulden.com/t/project-hybrid/1424

Gulden funding page says

"Gulden packages are sent within 48 hours after receiving payment.
Please send your payment from your own Bitcoin wallet and don't use an exchange or third-party service to avoid complications."

I would like to purchase some 10.000 – Prime + Physical Gulden coin packages but have no bitcoin wallet running on my pc (because of security and blocksize reasons).

So isn't it totally impossible to transfer the btc amount over e.g. bitcoin.de or poloniex?

Or will there be a chance to do so?

Regards

Howdy ho, you could send it from an exchange (but definitely not recommended) – the transaction will most likely take too long to send and cause the order to miscommunicate. And two other risks from paying from an exchange:

1) Payment ends up being slightly short after the exchange deducts fees - causing tx to bounce
2) TX gets refunded to the sending address and the exchange doesn't pick that up leading to lost money

Best thing would be to do a direct payment in collaboration with Rijk (he handles the funding), easiest way to make that happen is through Slack (gulden.com/join).

Or, download a mobile Bitcoin wallet and use that to pay – the payment page offers you a QR-code as well.

How many of the new coins total will there be??

Thanks Smiley

1.68 billion in total but there is a long mining period. We will be 6 feet under before all the coins are released.
This is one coin scrypt miners should really support for the long term.

Yes!

Now, supply us with your Gulden address, regarding donations and such...
