Totally true. But this doesn't mean you will get rich quick and quit your day job. Trading is a job, so if you decide to learn more about it (totally worth it!), you will use your bot even more to your advantage.

At tradingbot.org while purchasing it asks for my API key. I assume this is the API key from the exchange I will use... But why does the reseller need the API key info?

No. As said, you might be temporarily IP banned for too many requests. However, there's a delay setting in the bot and even the default value should be *good enough* to avoid this from happening.

No, they offer an official API that Gunbot makes use of. They only could ban your IP or a specific API key temporarily, if you make too many requests. Luckily Gunbot lets you set the intervals, so you wont get into trouble, if you stay within the limits.

Thank you for your answer. Do you know what is the number of requests after they can ban? Or what is safe requests number? One request equals one buy/sell order?

Hello,

I purchased Gunbot last week and finally had chance to set it up over this weekend. Currently setup on emotionless while I read into other strategies and learn the program. However, having run the program over night I have yet to see any trades made. Is this normal? Have I set it up wrong? Any advice appreciated. Running around 5 pairs.

is there a way to have the bot and web interface run on my headless linux VM in my network.
And still reach it from my other pc that has a browser on it.
So make the gui listen to 0.0.0.0 and not localhost?
