Isn't it better to charge some percent of overall profit than a one-time fee?
How would you enforce this? Unless you send the money to Gunthar and he does the trades. The problem with that one is, that people won't trust and call it scam. Here you get the bot and are your own trader.

it is NEVER good to allow others to trade FOR you ...

ever ...

the complications that come about are way too much - and the issues that can arise are even worse ...

so doing your own trades ( as cz3kit mentioned ) - with NO interference from servers and centralization of funds ( especially policing percentages from YOUR trades ) are the best way to do it - with your own licensed bot - using your own parameters - on your own responsibilities and shoulders ...

learning is fun also ...

Wink ...

Thanks I will read through the notes. I understand what you meant, I am just wondering g how the bot is capable of doing such a thing. I.e. What conditions must be satisfied in order to buy/sell
Why wouldn't it be? It analyzes trading patterns as best as possible and tries to act accordingly. I think there is a fair amount of information on the forum: https://gunthy.org/index.php. Alternatively you could PM Gunthar and ask for details.

I need to get a loan.... Too bad my cred on here isn't good enough :/
You should not take a loan to trade. That may end up being a disaster.

One question Gunthar- can this Bot be used to trade on a demo/practice account first anywhere- when I did Forex I tested a few bots but always used demo money first for a while whilst testing it to be able to understand it and optimise the settings. I am going to buy this bot I think as I said to you in PM but being able to test it in a simulated would put my mind at ease as well!!

Lookm forward to your reply Smiley

How exactly is it less prone to holding bags? It seems to me that if it's not going to sell at a loss it would hold the bag. Not sure what can be changed here so that recent versions would be any better than older versions. Am I missing something in the logic?
Read the release notes. What I meant is that the bot has become better at anticipating an upcoming "bear market/price decline" and is less likely to buy before it.

As i mentioned many times in this thread, this post is not in a marketplace it is a Service Announcement, so by local and board rules you shoudnt use this to sell your stuff: you can post it in this board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0 AND (if you want) there is a dedicated forum we created for all GUNBOT users with a marketplace board for people that wanna trade their licenses https://gunthy.org/index.php?board=4.0

Hope to have cleared your "concerns" ( Huh)
Thanks!

Go Big or Go Home.....
So, I think I'm done with this one. ANyone want to buy my license?
I'd suggest you to post your price and exchange of the license here: https://gunthy.org/index.php?board=4.0

Thanks, but it's not really worth my time to setup an account there and post a WTS ad and stuff.
Thought it was a simple transfer of ownership by letting the admin know I would be releasing the license for another person.

I saw others buy and sell in this thread but oddly after I posted my last post, it got promptly deleted by the admin... HMmmmmmm..

Confirms my concern...

Either way.. Good luck to all who still claim to be making $$$$ with this proggie.. I'll stick to my other bot(s) that work.

Greetings.

Can you tell me why you do not trust Poloniex?
Regulation? No. Known owners/public? Not really. A high number of users reporting problems (ranging from margin trading problems to stuck coins)? High. Remember: Mt. Gox and Cryptsy. These two are one of many lessons from the past.

Greetings.

Can you tell me why you do not trust Poloniex?

You can make lots of money with compound interest.

I hope you can clarify this doubt. Thank you.

That's how I traded before, and I know that a lot of veteran resellers do the same. The advice was always "HODL" during the bear market, and it has worked out so far. Recent versions of Gunbot are less prone to "holding bags" anyways.

Thanks for the explanation. So during these bearish times and we are holding multiple bags, do we just hold on to these and we expect they will all eventually recover?

When should we decide is appropriate time to sell at a loss? I assume bot doesn't do this (except for security margin feature which is manual cut off). Hoping you can advise.
That's always open for debate. There is no right answer that works out for every currency, in every situation and for everyone. You either *risk* hoping for a recovery, or you cut your losses and hope to get back the capital with trading. I've seen people hold things that went down 30-50% and eventually recovered.

You are technically not down until you sell your altcoins back for a smaller amount of Bitcoin. I had warned about the bear market a while ago.

Currently I'm 18% down in 5 days.

So don't expect only positive gains.
Short term anything is possible. Long term, positive is the likely outcome.

I know that this is expected with the way the bot operates and the markets going down, but still I'm sure many newbs that are thinking about getting rich quick aren't aware of that and are expecting crazy gains in a matter of days.
No "get rich quick" tools exist. If they did, nobody would sell them anyways.

Hi guys, I'm new to this kind of area of botting/trading. I am trying to verify manually the strats used here (i.e. BB method, using 25% values). Right now I am manually monitoring this, using Poloniex and making an excel sheet. I am not making real trades, just pretend trades, but right now I don't seem to be making any money on my books. Because a lot of the markets are trending down (bearish?) it seems my 'fake' trades are holding a lot of bags... is this normal? Right now I pretended to invest starting amount = 0.5BTC and I am down to around 0.4BTC (20% loss) because I am holding some bags (I just valuate the bags at their current prices).

What do you guys think? Does the bot handle this better than I am? Because it would seem the bot would need to wait until the price is above purchase price to sell these bags...
