Thankfully I haven't run into anyone using one yet, but if I did, this is the first thing that comes to mind:

A lot of people act as if they are famous youtubers or instagramers when they use that.

Where are you from and do people really buy that?
I am from Macedonia, and i have sold a few. It was a big trend in my country this summer. I think that over 75% of the young people have one. I don't really like it, i try it couple of times and it doesn't do its job properly so i sold it, and never tried again

I don't understand how they work. Sure, they allow you to position the camera away from you for a good shot - but how do you press the button to take a picture?
You connect your iphone to this fucked stick by cable (like headphones). And press button on stick.
I think its okay for teenagers (12-19) years. But not for older persons they seems like idiots for me

I don't use a selfie stick and i won't use one ever. All that i do with a selfie stick is order it from China, find a buyer in my country, wait for it to arrive and sell it to the customer, so i make some profit. It is just a stupid thing and i don't need it in my life, except for making some money ))

I don't trend so much, and I never do selfies... so yeah, I think I will see those sticks everywhere in about 2 yrs from now.
