Can you tell me your username? I do trade on reddit, but have never used discord in my life. Are you sure that was me?
Trading via Reddit is safe? Has there any escrow to use for safe transaction? Or how to prevent any scam attempt?

No escrow is not accepted there. It's all about reputation on reddit. And it depends on the community. GiftCardexchange community is really strong.

Still wanting BTC!!

You have made zero effort to become a contributing member of this community, nobody is going to send you their bitcoin.  All your posts are in threads relating to using paypal to buy bitcoin or gift cards.  It would be too easy for a newbie to abscond with the bitcoin, or gift cards by disputing the paypal charges, and no one would have any recourse.  The whole gift card thing is a shady trade all on it's own.

Several members have attempted to politely explain to you why you are unlikely to get anyone to trade with you, yet you persist.  Either you don't care if no one trades with you, or you are still hopeful some one will be naive enough to attempt a trade with you.  It makes me suspicious of your intentions.

Avoid dealing with this individual!
There's a high probability he will attempt to scam you.

I get what you are saying. Actually I was contacted by one of the member and had done few trades, but now he himself not sending me BTC so I will update the news if he pays me. Otherwise I am not the scammer. If you are really that deep in searching for my back (and this is for everyone who does that) and call my post a possible scam, please go to my vouch link provided above - a reddit link - and do a little more investigation. You can even PM me there and I will be more than happy to approve that it's me. Also if you look for a subreddit I have vouches (they call it confirmed trades) on, this subreddit is most secured gift card trading place on reddit and scammers can't even smell inside. And I am Confirmed trader there and had done more than 200 trades so far . So also main reason I am having Paypal is that I am getting paid by PP and don't have any other payment methods available so far. But I agree. Paypal is one of the most fu*ked up way to get paid.

Vouch to a newbie from a newbie account cant be helpful. It can be helpful if the OP can get vouch from a reputed member
Or high ranked user without negative trust ratings.

https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
Escrow won't do very much when it comes to PayPal. @op, if you're serious about buying you should state your country and maybe someone will do f2f or bank cash deposits instead?

A newbie vouching for another newbie.  Nothing suspicious about that.  Roll Eyes

How is escrow going to help you when he disputes the paypal charges next week?

Be real buddy. Your account is less than a year old yourself. All I was saying is I have done trades with him before without issue.

I'd be very surprised if anyone would help you with this at a 1:1 ratio. People trading bitcoin (such as myself) apply a premium to PayPal for BTC sales precisely because it's high risk.
What incentive does someone (such as me) have to do this when I can just sit with my bitcoin without having to worry about whether or not in a few weeks time I'll find myself out of pocket due to a PayPal dispute?

Well I see the point. Paypal is risky for sure, but some people need to sell their BTC, so this post is for them. Dispute part is really rude, I am not scammer  , trying to get some fair deal here. Anyone who has doubt can check my vouches, I can verify myself as a trusted buyer.
There are a lots of scammer and 99% scammer is newbie that is why people think it is risky to take paypal balance from newbie. You can see this topic: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/h-1300-bitcoin-n-paypal-5099575 they are searching paypal but I think they will not take paypal from you.

My intention was not to be rude, just stating a fact that trading BTC for PayPal is inheritantly risky and we can never truly trust anyone online.

Yeah I agree on that one
