Too good to be true.  These ISIS morons should rot in hell.

If someone has donated that much amount to help the Kurdish fighters, I appreciate it.

ISIS is a disgrace to the humanity and should be bombed to death.

Your country may be your worst enemy
I guess I could manage to support the idea. I certainly don't like the idea of stealing, but I dislike even more what IS is doing, but I wonder if this is real.

Not a good thing for Bitcoin in any case. It seems many people connect Bitcoin only with all sort of scams and theft anyway. But in this case the money might at least help to get rid of a few pigs ...

Did he say which bank was it? As far as I remember there was a huge hacking incident with Bangladesh's central bank.

IMO even if the ends if just, hacked money is still dirty money.

That's a very good news. For banks, that's little, and since the original robbers are them, this is just justice. The money has been well used. The Kurds are great people fighting to defend their lands, unlike many people from the Middle-East.

Can't be called a noble cause, stealing from others to donate to whatever is just as bad. Hackers themselves are nothing short of terrorists and that hacker is not too much different from IS itself.
i'm agree with that, even long time ago whe we saw robin hood movie, not much people agree with what robit done, stolen for donate, its can be a true action for some people, and also for now, hack from people to donate it to other people, can't be a good action i think.

is there any valid proof, no no one has a valid proof. it is just a speculation. no reality of such thing is still proof. so you want bitcoin to become a global currency, and you want people to get benefit from it and if you want people to be beneficial from it so we should not coment on such types of questions. however if there is a reality proof about it then its will be a question mark?

Then people wonder why Bitcoin has such bad reviews from mainstream media Roll Eyes This is two in one: stealing and funding war. We already have enough of that courtesy of our governments. This is what we're trying to fight with Bitcoin. Unfortunate to see people having an opportunity to do things differently and yet they still do the same terrible things that are done with fiat.

What do you expect? As bitcoin usage increases, you will find that it is used in all applications that fiat is used in.
The problem is not with fiat or bitcoin, the problem is with people.

Was a popular topic already, his contributions to the Kurds is most likely nothing compared to at least Canadas donations.
For some strategic reason we are propping them up with training and weapons.

This is ironic at best. Many keep saying that unlike FIAT bitcoin wouldn't be used to fund wars and that rumors stating so were lies but here we are seeing the exact opposite.

Pretty shitty that he stole coins but if he had to domate or use them in any way it's always good to see ISIS get their terrorist asses kicked.

Quote

A hacker has stolen $11,000 worth of Bitcoin and donated them to Kurdish fighters battling ISIS.

The hacker, known as Phineas Phisher, donated the large sum to a group of Kurdish fighters in the northern Rojava region of Syria. Phisher later admitted on Reddit that the funds in question were stolen from a bank, though he declined to mention which one.
