Lots of fake websites
Lots of bad backdoored programs and e-mail fishing scams
If you visit a website check the address to make absolutely sure your on the real website.
Trust no one!

And always bookmarked your sites that you are regularly using. Have some legit antivirus if you don't have enough knowledge in computer software and hardware. Double check your where you paste your address, do some preventive maintenance in your BTC, trasactions depends on how secure the sites we are using, if we did our part then it's up to them or to the trading site if they will get hack.

Some bitcoin users told me not to do transactions in these couple of days because hackers are active these days. I want to know is it true? or some kind of rumor? Anyone here who have faced such problem?

I do believe that Bitcoin transactions are secured and nobody can hack it. But I don't really know that. I haven't heard any report that they were hacked using Bitcoin transaction.

I don't think so. I see that hackers want to hack more because price increased very fast.

Hackers are restless to eat up your bitcoin, I guess they have observed that people make much transaction at this moment (probably because it's the end of the year and people need money to celebrate). Lazy boned hackers who also wants to enjoy are really virulent at hunting peoples account/wallet, so we all have to be careful and make sure our private key does not leak for the to invade our account.

I think It is a normal thing. With the constant growth of Bitcoin more people know about it and want a slice of cake and join the party. It it importat to be alway very cautious and take all the reccomended precautions like encrypt the wallet with a stron keyworld, donìt open suspiciuous file and costantly make backup af all.

What do you mean? hackers are more and more, day by day, the bigger the price of bitcoin the bigger the number of hackers out there. How could you be voulnerable when you use your wallet? As long as you didn't download any malware you are safe.

Yes, it's true that hackers are active these days. We should secure are all accounts and passwords. Specially our wallet private key and address. Be wise on working here because we can't predict what's going to happen in the next days.

They always is active and most hackers are just waiting for opportunities to exploit your security and account wallet details but they would not try to brute force hack accounts because I heard that it would be almost impossible to hack a private keys and mostly they just do phishing and sending malwares or virus that will expoloit your security which can be prevented by us the users as long as we carefully browse and transact.

Be carefull for each every step you make. If you think that only you knows codes and how much money you invest, you dont know. Secure yourself by securing computer, put your money on "usb" wallets and make sure you the codes does not goes enywhere, only in your pocket.

Yes, you are right, a lot of bad hackers are gunning the cyber streets. there are fake apps, this news from Bitcoin.com says "Over 10,000 People Have Downloaded Fake Cryptocurrency Apps" (https://news.bitcoin.com/10000-people-downloaded-fake-cryptocurrency-apps/) and some hackers are even state-backed! Kim Jong-un Unleashing Hackers Against Bitcoin Exchanges, just 2/3 days old news (https://www.bitcoinmarketinsider.com/kim-jong-un-unleashing-hackers-against-bitcoin-exchanges/)

Also, there are scam sites, phishing sites and malware to steal your wallet. So, you should worry about your Bitcoins and tey to keep them safe.

And there has been that recent account from one of the users that he downloaded an app (a wallet) from the *official* Bitcoin Gold site, uploaded his private keys and lost all his bitcoin and bitcoin gold, both. It is actually a story that freezes your brain, because if you cannot trust official sites, than do what? Do your own audits of downloaded code each time you download it?

They are active lately because they know bitcoin or altcoin has great potential for the future. They do various ways to get bitcoin quickly, one of them is to spread scam links to get your private key.

I did not faced some hackers yet but i am aware that the hackers are active these days because bitcoins are on the moon and those bad people always want to gain money in an instant way because they are good at it. That is why the bitcoins fall somehow then all are on panic. But that hacker cannot destroy our relationships as a bitcoins user. But for the mean time lets just take the advuce of the ecperts seriously lets just not do transactions it this past few days. We need to be awarein what is happening as long as bitcoins price will rise.

As bitcoin continues to rise and soar to exceedingly new heights it is also important to know that sharks circle the waters and it brings the hackers and those people who want to capitalize on the winnings of others and it it very evident based on some cases I hears

Currently the hacker is starting his action in stealing bitcoin by spreading fake links to everyone, remain cautious in opening the website, still use a layered anti-virus to avoid the scam site.

hackers are everywhere and whenever. not a matter of time now or tomorrow or a month away, but that needs to be prioritized is the level of wallet security that we use. make sure all private key to access the wallet is stored properly.

In fact, they have seen a lot of bitcoin stolen from the trading platform recently, but most of the time they have stolen it themselves.
