I believe I read an article somewhere when a Muslim cleric claimed that Bitcoin is haram and forbade the Muslim community from investing in it entirely. If that's true then it means that every currency is a sin.

I often get questions like that that are always asked almost every time my friends meet , I’ve had so many people ask me ‘Is Bitcoin halal or haram?’, and the honest answer is ‘it depends’. Bitcoin is not just a currency, but it’s also a transaction and payment network. And blockchain itself is a technology with wide ranging applications

if you are not making any link to fiat with religion, you should no do with BTC, too. Just take it as a currency. Or you should ask any religious leader about it.
Good opinion and I agree with your opinion.
We should take BTC with a path that is as religious as our religion, so that later on we will not find it difficult to deal with the problems that we all have so to run bitcoin more smoothly and calmly.

halal or haram depends on how you use bitcoin itself, isn't the money system too.
if you get bitcoin in an honest way it's lawful, and if you get bitcoin from gambling it must be haram. maybe understandable

Lets not make religion belief into bitcoin.

Bitcoin is cryptocurrency decentralized one and everybody has right to use their money where they want to use. Thats why everybody love bitcoin if you like to watch porn, do gambling, buy hosting, car, house, dinner etc whatever for bitcoin it is free to do so. No any halal or haram like statement is needed for bitcoin.

%100 agreed. Life is too short to be lost in such little details. Come on everybody, just try to be a nice person and avoid hurting anyone. Rest of them are just a waste of time.

I see how to use bitcoin, if bitcoin is used for harmful things including gambling, drugs and terrorist financing, I think it's haram. but if it is used for good things it might be lawful.
You able to good clarification like as islamic scholars. All kind of gambling is haram in islamic religion.
I heard big soudi scholars say bitcoin is a halal if you used it good way in your life. Drugs is not good for society that's why it's buying by bitcoin definitely when btc is haram.

Bitcoin is currency and it is legal if earned legally
It's not legal in the all of countries but we're all to earn it. I think halal or legal meaning is not a same. Halal word is coming from islamic religion. They maintained it religious perspective. Bitcoin is a halal currency but BTC gambling is haram i think.

The Islam holy book categorized gambling as halal or haram a good Islamic adherent must desist from such activity however for using or adopting bitcoin I don't believe is illegal in as much as it being use for good not illegality and seeking more clarified from Islamic scholars will be welcomed.

bitcoin is halal, but for the owner, depending on how they can get it, if you get from things that are haram, the bitcoin you get is also haram
Good opinion and I agree with your opinion.
Actually bitcoin is not familiar with halal and haram because it all depends on who uses it for use towards things that are haram or halal, so I think bitcoin is halal for use.

Indeed, the assumption of people about bitcoin is halal or haram, it depends on its use, because everyone uses bitcoin is not just a good thing, sometimes there is a problem that is forbidden and done.

It's definitely not forbidden. I have used BTC  in the Islamic world and traded with Muslims many times.  The rules are the same as any other money. It is forbidden to do usury or other things seen as hurting people, but the money itself is innocent. It is the LOVE of money that is "the root of all evil."

Halal or Haram   Huh
If Bitcoin BTC From the results Faucet, Mining, Nuyul, Giveaway, And Gambling placed in the same wallet  Huh
Please lightening and further explanation before astray Grin
Thanks before  Wink
Greetings HunterBTC

It is the same thing if you put the money that you earned from your job + things that you sold + things that you stole in the same bank account!
So basically, money from your job is halal and the other part that you stole are haram... So simple... just consider bitcoin as a currency  Smiley
I also think like that, halal and haram it depend on how you get it. Gambling is totally haram in Islam, do not doubt about it. If you worried about halal and haram from bitcoin that you get, you have to choose a good way to earn bitcoin and learn more about your religion.
