At that time Bitcoin had a value of $ 150 - $ 300 if it wasn't wrong, and then it continued to increase and added to my interest to study in the crypto world.

I think you might have your dates wrong. But welcome to the community!

One and a half years ago (June 2017) the price of Bitcoin was ~$2,600. Two and a half years ago (June 2016) the price of Bitcoin was ~$600. And Three and a half years ago (June 2015) the price of Bitcoin was ~$250.

• When and where you encountered bitcoin.
I guess sometimes in 2011-12, I was designing a web-page and I saw bitcoin there. The site was something to do with Bitcoin
• Lowest and highest price you bought bitcoin.
Around $750 and around $10K
• Your highest loss and gain.
From 1.5BTC to 0.1BTC ish. And gain $750 to $16K
• Knowledge you get.
I think I need a whole new topic for this hehe
• Wallet and exchange you're using.
Electrum as wallet. Most of the reputed exchanges
• 10 altcoin/token you have besides bitcoin.
Oh a lot! ADA, TRX, DBC, ETH, ETN, WABI, THET, BCH and many more I can't even remember.

By the way, Happy 10th anniversary although I am late to the party.

I was a bit more behind the curve for some but I remember hearing about bitcoin as early as 2011/2012 thanks to an NPR podcast where the hosts involved themselves in a bitcoin buying experiment. They were pretty crushed when the price fell from like one dollar to 25 cents, but obviously they'd be millionaires now if they retained their stash.

The second time I heard about it was when I listened to Andreas Antonopoulos on the Joe Rogan Experience in mid to late 2013. From then on I was hooked. The guy just made bitcoin sound so exciting and transformative, and he was right. I wonder how many other people here got the bitcoin bug thanks to Joe Rogan and AA... Hard to believe that was 5 and a half years ago now, time flies...

Yehey happy 10th birthday for bitcoin. Can we now speculate about the bull run? I do not see any hype from the the admin and Satoshi giveaways? I do hope we can get something from them before this day end as the bitcoin or cyrptocurrency has been operating a decade already. Well best wishes for cyrptcocurrency and bitcoin. May it will continue to rise its market price from 3.8K to more than 6K USD per BTC.
We should not expect very big from bitcoin and cryptocurrency for now, for it is just to recover from this falldown season of the market , but in the other side we have to congratulate bitcoin for its ten anniversarry and we hope it could continue its services to the people and give its best for the customers and investors.

Bitcoin have pass 10 years but we still waiting when bitcoin price could growing up again, we have bought and invest at bitcoin when higher price, we will waiting when bitcoin is comeback to higher price.
We have nothing to worry about the future because we already survive in this market for 10 years and we can still go for more years so just relax and be patient, you can sell your bitcoin higher than your buying price soon. Always learn from your experience, its a mistake on your part but don’t give up bitcoin is good and it will rise again, let’s celebrate for now this new year for cryptomarket.

Happy Birthday, Bitcoin!
to all the readers and cryptoenthusiasts out there 2018 wasn't the best of the years, especially if compare to 2017
to answer OP's questions:

read about it in 2009 , but just shrugged and didn't pay much attention till 2011 or so
never managed to buy cheap, but mined quite a lot in the early days
highest loss was when 50btc pool went rogue, wasn't much in USD at the time , but .... wish i had all that coins now Smiley
learned alot about cryptocurrency and blockchain, keep learning and reading
using Electrum and Trezor, blkockchain.com for small change
don't HODL altcoins , just under 500$ amounts in eth,ltc and doge

With just almost a year on this forum, a lot of stories to be told but I rather keep it to myself. However, I can say that stories like mine is just common to every investors or bitcoin holders. Getting some losses in trading and having some hard time in decision making.

I have other similar questions for everyone:

1. What kind of emotion do you have with the past 10 years of life and the story of Bitcoin?

2. Make a toast to Bitcoin’s 10th birthday.

3. What day is the most impressive day, what happened?

4. Please freely imagine the price of Bitcoin in 2028.

I also wrote an article about these questions answered by many bitcoin users.

  • There's only about 10 altcoins/tokens worth owning right now so this list should be the same for everybody...XRP, ETH, LTC

You could say I know this bitcoin is too late because only one and a half years ago I started learning bitcoin.
From my brother who had already studied, I was introduced to this forum.
At that time Bitcoin had a value of $ 150 - $ 300 if it wasn't wrong, and then it continued to increase and added to my interest to study in the crypto world.
Only a few altcoins that I have and Eth accompany me.
