they said it couldn't last-- we had to prove them wrong!

too bad i didnt believe 100% in 2011 and quit mining

battlefield 3 dosent seem that important now lol!

Rest assured that Leroy Fodor and Marshall Long, both mining since 2009  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes, mined your share of bitcoins prior to you stumbling upon it two years later, they both now pillars or the cryptocurrency community.

Oh, I didn't know Bitcoin was 8 years old. Happy birthday to it. Somebody should tell me little things I can do to earn it though, as I am not a coder like the most of you.

A great achievement indeed. A time to look back and see the mega impact Bitcoin has been having on our world and our lives... Here's to another 8 years of technical evolution and social/financial progress Smiley
I agree that bitcoin is having an impact on our lives and with the new year to come, I believe there will be more of an impact than what we know.  The more bitcoin is interrogated into our lives, the more people will become aware of what bitcoin is and how it can benefit them.

I was advised to start with Bitcoin and was first introduced to it in June/May 2013. Extremely unhappy I didn't purhcas ethen, and only got into it 2 years later, in June 2015.

REASON:
In November 2013 the price hetrupled (was multiplied by 7), so from an investment of £100, I could've got ~£750 in just a financial quater!

And hopefully, another 8 years of Bitcoin!
Probably will continue. Still a great currency, I don't imagine its downfall until another twenty years time at least.

After 8 years i think bitcoin's nowdays is on the way to become a global currency soon
We notice that Bitcoin is growing up daily and many famous marketplaces using it, and also the price is increasing which can support the bitcoin's usability

8 years wow, I've only been involved in bitcoin since around May 2014 unfortunately.
I wonder where we'll be in another 8 years, what progress bitcoin will have made etc?
Questions for another day any way!
