Top 3 cryptocurrency hardware wallet:
1. Ledger Nano S
Ledger Nano S no doubt, is the top amongst all the cryptocurrency hardware wallet.
2. KeepKey
KeepKey has amazing security features to protect your cryptocurrency.
3. TREZOR

wasn't KeepKey rarely getting updated? although it looks like updates has picked up
Trezor is open-source aswell, I'd say
Trezor > Ledger > KeepKey!

I just bought Ledger Nano S a few weeks ago. The feel is very good, supporting many ERC20 tokens. The downside is that the buttons are slightly small so it is hard to press.

I use ledger nano S.  You can't go wrong with a Trezor as well.  Ledger even made a new model called Ledger Blue.  Google them and find out.

There are hardware wallets that are a pretty good options. The most popular hardware version is Ledger Nano S that just added support for many good coins such as BTC, ETH, Ripple... You can buy it on their website for about $65. Another great hardware wallet is TREZOR.

Hi, I look for hardware wallet existing or in development.

Can you recommend one?

Ideally, I want to store next to BTC and ER-20 also other coins if it does not influence the price and usability.

You should look at Ledger S and Trezor model T.   Second is more recent. First have more altcoins integrated, but Trezor will start catching them soon.

A hardware wallet is a form of cold storage. The definition of cold storage is to keep the access to your wallet (private key) offline and delete all the online files. There are several other ways to keep your bitcoins in cold storage like a paper wallet, brain wallet and a wallet on an offline computer.

So, ultimate question would you keep 100btc in hardware wallet? (lets say nano S)

Would you keep it in one or multiple, like 5btc per wallet?

I've never used hardware wallets, but I can say that it's more secure than storing tokens on my purses, it seems to me that it will be really right if in the end people will still come to the realization that it's best to store crypto currency in your purse on a separate device. It seems to me that it will be much safer.

You can't go wrong with a Ledger Nano S or a Trezor.
I myself have multiple ledger nanos and I have no conplaints. Make sure you buy it from an official source and not 2nd hand from eBay/Craigslist.

There were some problems with hardware wallets in the past, not so long time ago. In another section there is a thread about security of hardware wallets and it turns out that they are not as secure as many people actually think. They are still quite good choice if you need to access some of your crypto on for example infected computer since the device doesn't expose your private keys.

I use Ledger Nano S, very satisfied. Security at the highest level, convenient and simple to use. In general, no problems. I ordered the original from Paris.

If you store the private keys of your bitcoin wallet on your hard drive, possibly encrypted, and you use software on this computer to create the digital signatures, the security of your computer becomes a weak point. If some malware would be able to get access to the private keys, it could spend all your bitcoins. Even if the private keys are encrypted, the malware may just be waiting around until you enter the password and at that point it would be able to access your bitcoins and steal them.
A hardware wallet tries to protect against this particular threat. By not keeping the private keys on your computer, but offloading them to a dedicated device, it tries to minimise the opportunity for malware to get hold of the private keys.
Following above things, I recommend Ledger Nano S with cheapest fee.

Hardware wallets are safer than Web Wallet where no one can hack this wallet and stole your coins but you must pay fees.

When you hold bitcoin or altcoins for the long term it’s best to buy a hardware wallet. This way you are in possession of your private keys and no one else! And no one is able to steal them. The cheapest hardware wallet on the market is a Nano S and is very secure!

There's a pretty good list of hardware wallets here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hardware-wallets-3066531

I recommend to:
1. Use search, since most questions you have may be already answered. For this case, a good option is to google: hardware wallets site:bitcointalk.org
2. Imho you should also read this, at least to be aware of the "other side": https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/it-is-not-secure-to-use-hardware-wallets-and-it-never-was-3176978
