If you gambling for the fun, as a type of entertainment.... like other people who go to a movie... you might not worry too much about the loss, because you spent that money on something that killed time.

there is still good chance of you winning. For example with house edge of 1%, 100 times if you flip a coin, 1 of those will go to the house instead of being absolutely 50 50, meaning maybe a weighted side or getting 51 49. As long as it is provably fair they can't cheat.
