Hi,
so from your last reply (than kyou for the info).
Its a little "Fuzzy".
So,
1. Marshall Long owned/ran Final Hash (right?)
2. Final hash made some deal with GAW, got loads of deposits but customers never got any product? (correct?)
3.they compensated its miners on Final Hash, by giving them no fees?
So, what is the problem here? Final Hash, was not responsible for GAW mess? Or was it and if so how?
Sorry, but i dont know what to take from that reply. Like i say, all i am doing is trying to find out truths about this guy, something that can hold up against any argument for him being a "decent guy". Thank you for your help.
EDIT: read this from the link above, last page
"" We don't need to buy this kind of services since we have a way more sophisticated one - our own NiceHash, now running for more than 2 years. BetaRigs was bought by Final Hash (aka Marshall Long). They were similarly incompetent with running this service as they were incompetent with running their also burned-in-flames Mintsy service. It takes significant effort, programming and system administration knowledge to run a cryptocurrency mining service, and FinalHash simply doesn't have it.
FinalHash - Marshall Long - BetaRigs - Mintsy - Cryptsy - Paul Vernon ... what more to you need. Just forget about all this shit, it is buried in the history. ""
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1170292.320That's interesting! That last quote was by an entity who just came across my radar (via PMs - plural) as possibly being a problematic concern:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14412624Reads to me like you, too, are alluding to that since this is ancient history, we all just need to forget what so-and-so did as we re-welcome them to the fold. That said, welcome back Tom Williams and Mark Karpeles.
DISCLAIMER: For the trolls. No we are not affiliated with GAW in any way shape or form nor have we ever been.- Marshall Long owned Final Hash along with Leo Iruke.
- GAW's lawyer was ... wait for it ... Leo Iruke.
- Long, Iruke and Garza put together a conference to ... wait for it ... SHOWCASE GAW.
Conclusion: Marshall Long had nothing to do with GAW and I, too, will 100% invest in any venture he puts forth sans investigation because that's how much I, and everybody else who has money to burn, trusts him.
