This redeem system doesn't sound good  Shocked

Actually it could be a good opportunity for a few people but it will depend on a couple of factors, namely market price and your electricity rate.

If the contracts are terminated the prices will probably drop very low, then it's possible you might be able to buy a machine on the market for say $10, add $50 handling & $150 shipping is $210

That is profitable to run on 7c power (but barely), many people do pay less than that (or nothing)

It also may be possible that if you bought a large enough quantity bitmain might offer alternative shipping arrangements (eg pallets of them) to reduce that cost

Got it!

hashnest support is really slow..  Roll Eyes here the information for the actual contract end:

First " UMISOO PPS Compensate maintenance" ( >100% ) was on
2015-08-19 04:18:53

so the contracts "AntS2" and "UMISOO" will probably end on
2015-08-29 04:00:00

you then can redeem the hardware. for every 1000 ghash you own, you can send one physical miner to your home: this will cost 50 USD fee and UPS costs ( 150 USD to europe they said ) for every miner. And don't forget the fun with customs.. ( maybe they want you to pay ~20% import taxes on the initial price of an S2 ? 2000 USD? ).. so i don't think anybody outside from china will do this??

on the same date,
"AntS3" will switch from PPLNS to PPS payout mode..

I really like the hashnest iOS app. It rocks. You can do all the thinks you do in the web site but more quickly and on the go.
A nice addition it will be to show the total earnings (payout - maintenance fee) in the miner status screen and in the blocks screen.

I also like the android app but it seems to be not working to me anymore. How sad Sad

I want to sign up for first time at https://www.bitmaintech.com/product.htm and  I can not .It give me this message:
"We're sorry, but something went wrong.
If you are the application owner check the logs for more information."
I tried at all relative sites of bitmain and i 'v got the same message. I deleted all cookies/cache the problem remain.
Please help me
make an act  thr  hashnest  site, and on the bottom page under products click antminer,  if ur log in to hashnest  when u click on login it auto logs in to bitmain tech, the sites are interlinked.  if ur buying hash  for cloud mining u would buy it on the market/shop at hash nest.(do the math to figure out which is cheaper, i see people still buying shop when market is way cheaper). i dont do home miner anymore so i cant help u with that. thats all i got for ya, hope that helps.

Yup, price in the shop currently 142468, market 132800 per ghs. Quite the disparity. Guess it will converge eventually somehow.

Anyone know how to change your email address? I Signed up with an email I have since closed. I don't see an option to do so in settings.

Umisoo could be a good buy if you are a gambling man.

Won't take much of a price increase to get under 100%

They are going to have a lot of upset customers. No notification of the countdown here or on their site.

Are s4s really the most profitable right now?  And by that much over s5?  Anyone know the calc in these sheets?  Thanks.

Not at the moment the S5's are

Interesting values that the S2 & Usimoo still have even though they are losing money and in imminent danger of being shut off.

Question on PACMiC v2: If I have turned on autobuy at some point, is my "Principal" here correct?
With this contract, I currently am supposed to have 1.42428115TH/s. Should my "Principal" also be 1.42428115BTC, or something similar?
http://puu.sh/jEQSx/047c6fe155.png

No, your principal will not grow at the same rate as your mining speed.  That seems to be correct the way that it is.

Hmmm, but doesn't the .42ths come from "reinvesting", thus adding to the principal?
If not, then what is the purpose of autorebuy? To hope thT difficulty drops and you have ahigher hashpower and break even quicker?

yes it does, think of it like this on a per block basis...

You have 1 TH/s of mining power and are owed 1 btc.  A block is solved! You get .0001 btc as your payout for having 1 TH/s of mining power and .000025 of that is profit and .000075 goes towards your principal.

Now without reinvest on, you have .0001 btc in your account and are still owed (1 - 0.000075) .999925 btc back from the PACMiC contract.  You have a total of 1.000025 btc since you made a little profit.

Now with reinvest on, instead of that bitcoin going into your pocket, it just buys more hashpower.  You have your hashpower increasing by .0001 btc (because that is what hit your account from the payout from the block), but your only owed 1.000025 btc since that is all your profit was.

Alright, Thanks. I have no idea why I have autorebuy turned on then.

Because you earn more over the life of the contract.  Your interest will also be compounding.

"Earning more" as in delaying the end of the contract to get more satoshis per second, I assume?
