I am not liking their forums being down last 2 days with so much changing and going on.

Just when we need answers to many questions.

Is the current Umiso pool a combination of old s2 and new s5 units?  Because they are offering way more then they had to begin Umisoo with.

What about the infinity on the maintenance?  Is it due to bitstamp being down?  Will payouts still happen?  How will maintenance be charged?

What if btc/usd crashes and it takes more then 10 days for difficulty to adjust and make mining profitable?  Will we lose our hashing all together?  Or will they just shut it down and bring it back after difficulty adjusts?

Is there going to be a new s5 offering from the farm they told us is built/being built before forums disappeared? Or is it again mixed in with the umisoo farm and can we expect lower maintenance for everyone currently in umisoo?

Many many more questions, just a few off the top of my head.  Then again communication got a little better but was absent for weeks recently.

That is why it is concerning to me that the forums have been down so long.
i hardly use the forums as they are weird laid out always get problems or have other language mixed in with english lol. I did try to go on there to read about S5 to see if they going to offer it, hell i was even looking for S4 information for cloud mining but forum was down. I do see maintanance page for umisoo now shows 68.6%

it's simple: Umisso consumes 1 watt at 1 GHS, the cost of light 0.095 dollars, it is deducted from income.

very good calculator: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator

Hello All,

Can someone please be so kind to explain to me the meaning of the Fees/Maintenance figure?, it says 68.9% now, what that means?, that 68.9 of the dividens are maintenance fee?, if so, why it always such fee fixed as $0.0022896/GHS/Day?

Thanks for your help and patience.

It says 68.9% of total mined revenue is used for maintenance which is currently fixed at $0.0022896 , the rest are dividends. Dividends depend on BTC/USD exchange rate and difficulty.

Fair rate to calculate very easily - day dividends multiply by 100  Wink

Name   Power efficiency   Maintenance fees   Fees/Earnings   Last Price
UMISOO   1.0W/GHS   $0.0022896/GHS/Day   Infinity%   0.0003599BTC

Why did fees/Earnings just change to Infinity% ?

Probably because they use bitstamp exchange data to compute percentage and bitstamp is down.
That is possible however I would think they would be more flexible then that. Plus since the price has not moved very much since bitstamp suspended service I would say it would be fair to use the last stamp price.

IIRC the price I effectively "got" when I purchased miners from bitman was somewhat different then the then current bitstamp rate

Any know why the status page shows inflated hash rates? My first few payouts show I am being paid based on the TH that I purchased but the status page shows several TH more at all times.

Something I can live with but just doesn't make any sense.

S3 expensive, 0.0012 BTC with consumption 0.8 watt, it is better to take AMHash for 0.0008 BTC with the consumption of 0.68 watts

Umisso profitable, but risky, consumption of 1 watt which is 70% of the income. If the rate of BTC drops to $200, Umisso will begin to operate at a loss and they will switch off  Undecided

We would like the appearance S5 market

So weak hands running for the exits!

Hi all

I'm new on hashnest .

Try to read the FAQ , but prices are in cny :-(   (not very easy ) and it doesn't now say much about the different market (especially this UMISOO stuff).

Can someone be kind enough to make a brief summary of his/her time on hashnest ?

Thanks .

S2 0.0002 today

Umisso 0.0003

This is sad. A LOT of people including me lost a lot of money on this. Bitmain is half to blame since they did that Christmas sale instead of an IPO. If bitcoin does not go up in price I am afraid UMISOO will be doomed.

I think bitmain is innocent in this case. At $280 and next difficulty +10% coming in few days price 0.0003 means ROI 100+ days which is just OK in cloud mining. With BTC price crashing there is nothing too much to do with this situation. You can watch live ROI recalculations at nextdifficulty.com

The price would not be this low though a drop yes but not this low. Bitmain created 3 huge 300btc walls which are very hard to overcome. We overcame one and they put another 300btc in its place 24 hours later.
i know seems like the sales they had just went up so fast, almost feels like should have bitcoin sitting there just waiting for sales like this but they run risk of no sale. In that case would be no different than having bitcoins in wallet  Cry
