This happened before to another Russian site, then came hashocean. I can't remember the name of it, wish I could, but it will come around again. Get in early. I got my ROI long ago from my investment.

It was Hashprofit and was the same exact functionality as Hashocean, claiming they mine with GPU-s and they mine the most profitable altcoins. However that ponzi Hashprofit lasted only six months while Hashocean lasted 1.5 years which is almost triple the time, so it made much more victims. Getting early may not get you where you want, just look at topmine they are out of business with 3.5 months so you would have not made your ROI in this scenario, its best to stay away from ponzi scams.
as expected many speculation rounded up when cldmine went down now the truth came up hashocean went down too, ponzi really not good congrats to those who joined early its been some profits for them but the newbie that has been victimized by those ref sorry for you guys, ponzi still a ponzi so better keep away from it.

Campaign Management?"Hhampuz" is the Man
This site and TopMine literally went down almost one day apart.
I guess they made quite a lot of profit from all those "investors".
that's a sure thing dude , they made a lot of profit from their investors imagine they have more than 700 000 member so it is possible that they have stole so much money .

You are lucky. That is a lot of sites that close down even before the investors get back their investment. These kind of things are really too risky to even try it out.

From what I heard, nobody was paid, I think this time we do one investigation to know the identity of these scammers. In the forum where I was had a guy hakers that were good to unmask and expose scammers. unfortunately I do not know how to contact them!
Hahaha... it's too difficult to make an investigation to know the identity of a scammer, maybe scammer has some wallet or if they want to rebrand their scam site and change into a new wallet.

As expected so is the result. There are several different threads for this hashocean created at different places. And finally it proved to be right to turned out to be scam.

Goodbye hashocean

Sorry for your lost ..

The owner of hashocean is :

richard maisano

How do you know? I read a blog who found evidence that owner is a Russian.

I don't think that the owner is russian since the first data center of hashocean is located at United States (reference: https://netbusinessrating.com/en/review-14603-hashocean) and you see the name it's not looks like russian name.

So... The dream is over hehe

The Ponzi scheme was good for many people, a good profit was made by many investors, but... A lot of people lost their money also, anyway it was very expected. It would happen any time, everybody knew about the risks about HashOcean!

You are right about this its happening all the time with this kind of websites, I honestly think you cannot trust any website more these days that are trading in bitcoins...
This is already the .....so many time it happened.

All bitcoin cloud mining sites are just ponzis according to me and nothing.
All should be banned, as these are just tempting schemes trying to make people invest their hard earned coins into these fake services.

Because I know that there are legitimate ways to make cloud mining profitable, and not only that but in so doing help secure the blockchain on a scale not easily accomplished by the individual, any move to "ban" cloud mining sites who have at least shown that they do have working hardware and can obtain as much as needed for the investors (and yes at least one is out there.. at least one)  should have the burden of proving the miner as a scam placed on the accuser before any decision is made so that the person accusing the 3rd party mining firm must argue and prove that they are indeed a scam (not beyond doubt but convincingly). In the absence of any proof of profitability from the cloud mining entity when requested, an immediate ban would be beneficial indeed, until such proof is furnished at least. If that were enforceable it would make it a lot harder to be a mining ponzi.. but still not impossible.
