You mean people are united only if the government imposes censorship and limits what can or cannot be said? How does hate speech cause division exactly? It's just a manifestation of peoples thoughts and opinions (however ugly they might be). And maybe division is not necessarily a bad thing. Would you like to be united with people you fundamentally disagree with and help them achieve their goals? Probably not.

Hate speech laws almost always evolve into some form of a censorship, when you no longer can express an opinion even if it's not target at anyone directly. Is publicly stating that e.g. you don't support gay marriage a hate speech? Who is to decide that?
Do you know what racism or hate speech is? Do you like seeing one tribe saying another tribe, do you like seeing a religion saying another religion is not true. I mean things like this and racism is a problem that needs to be straightened out because we have the same position in the eyes of the law and someone who often commits racism is usually quite problematic in life. Differences of opinion are guaranteed in the law, but this does not result in racism against other people's ethnicity, religion and culture who are different from their own.

Hate speech laws are not wrong, it's just that humans themselves cannot differentiate how to interpret racism and differences of opinion. Differences of opinion on things that are positive for human development are not wrong and criticism on this issue is mandatory and the law never restricts someone from having a different opinion, but it is not a sentiment or expressing racism towards other people.

Racists try to make sure that they turn their situation into "facts" and so that would mean that's not racism. I am not American nor have I ever been to America, so I can be objective and tell you about blacks in America for example.

When someone says "they are the ones who commit the most crimes, that's a fact" they do not really tell you why that is true, why they do that, nobody questions the fact that about until 150 years ago they were slaves, about 50 years ago they weren't equal, and about 20-30 years ago FBI (this is official report) murdered successful black people to make sure whites stay powerful, they do not talk about ALL towns burning because they were black oriented and did well. Then they tell you oh they commit crime, of course they do, you left them nothing else.
We always look at the past to compare the superiority of ethnicity, skin color and culture, what's worse we will continue to say our people are the best even though they are nothing. The issue of morality is that we should not need differences to say that our people are superior to other people. Life is cool, safe and peaceful when we can accept each other's differences. The person who committed the crime has its own retribution that will be held accountable through the court decision process and they are on the same side of the law as they should be after it ends.

I don't want to discuss too much about problems that have occurred between tribes, religions and cultures, because I think we have the same position in this world. A life that respects each other and can live side by side is the life that many people are looking for, because we will learn to accept other people and will live side by side without any problems. Crime, racism and morality are just a few problems that have been deliberately developed by a small group of people and when we unite these problems will be solved.

Since some people are quick to adopt what other people say without trying to find out reasons of their own, the hate speech may make some people never know what bitcoins really are. But the people that hate bitcoins are helping bitcoin in a way because anytime they express their hatred for bitcoins, people will always wonder why they hate the thing called bitcoin so much. They may indirectly be helping to tell people about bitcoins and raise the interest of people to want to know what bitcoins are.
I think that's a problem that can't be solved easily and in a large scale, people being gullible and being easily swayed by an audacious speeches and letters are a problem which could've be solved by proper parenting, critical thinking should start as soon as possible for an individual, although critical thinking skill can still be learned as an adult you will probably meet some resistance because adults have an established beliefs and habits which is going to be difficult to break especially those with bad but feels good vibe habits and beliefs. The only thing that we can do against hate speech is to try to talk to them in a respectful manner, anger is easily diffused by calmness so a moderation in tone or no sarcasm in your speech or letters would be a good way to have a discussion with people that spout hate speech, most of them just wants to be heard anyways.

Generally, however, hate speech is any form of expression that discriminates against minorities by abusive or threatening speech. Although some countries define hate speech as speech or act that promotes violence.

Although we are free to say what we want but we should avoid expressing an idea that threatens or insults association (hate speech)
I think hate speech is powerless to change Bitcoin direction because of its decentralized structure. Governmental restrictions or inflation have no impact on the supply demand dynamics that determine the value of bitcoin. This year is promising for Bitcoin as a top asset. But hate speech may lead the technologically illiterate astray, making them cautious. We can only offer positives and let people make their own decisions, we cannot force change. Just keep in mind that demand, which is impacted by a number of factors, determines Bitcoin price not mining costs.

Generally, however, hate speech is any form of expression that discriminates against minorities by abusive or threatening speech. Although some countries define hate speech as speech or act that promotes violence.

However everyone has the right to freedom of expression and opinion, although freedom of speech is limited for the promotion of peace because it causes harm and disunity. Hate speech can cause physical harm to its victims when violence is involved and can also cause disunity.

The (CERD) committee on the elimination of racial discrimination was the first to address hate speech and the need to build regulation, prohibiting and provocative types of language. This committee intervene and yet hate speech still continue in our society today.

Those who support (pro) bitcoin and those who are against bitcoin always have a clash in speech. Those who hate bitcoin see bitcoin as a scam and other crime scheme. So with their view on it they see bitcoin users as scapegoat, criminals and money laundering and some special advisers in the government see bitcoin from this perspective so they advised the government to ban bitcoin in their country. And this cause a social trauma between these two groups.
Upon all these bitcoin is still gaining ground in the ecosystem. Therefore, hate speech cannot do anything to bitcoin again.
Although we are free to say what we want but we should avoid expressing an idea that threatens or insults association (hate speech)

Even within the BTC community there are exclusionist that speak hatred against other POW coins. Time and time again when I listen to bitcoin maximumists it sounds and reads and feels like haters and bigots. Does it mean all BTC or no coin people are right or wrong no. But they do come across as haters of POW coins and you do not have to read too deeply into satoshi to see that he was a true POW man more than BTC or nothing person.

It is not the problem that how someone is saying about bitcoin or any other coin, every trader should think of his own, that whether his will against the coins is at high level, or nor he is trying to buy some other coin in order to get some profit.
The main problem is we always listen to others, and in very rare cases, we think of our own and taking a step towards trading or towards a coin.

Can someone here please check OP's post for either plagiarism or AI-generated writing?  It seems much better written than his other posts, and the start of his post here sounds bizarre, as if it was just copy/pasted from somewhere and the sentence just doesn't begin correctly.

Looks like he's banned anyway. Plagiarism or not, he won't be posting anytime soon. I can see it thanks to the BPIP Extension, but have no idea how to check if the ban is permanent or temporary (if anybody knows how - I'd be grateful for the info).

And to everyone else, the reason I'm asking for someone to do this is because there are far more talented detectives who can sniff out shady writing, which I've got a strong suspicion is what's present here.

Do we have any confirmation from mods on the policy of AI posting? Would a positive result from an AI detector site be enough to ban someone?

I have always thought of Bitcoin being that asset that brings about unity around the globe especially that it operates anywhere and everywhere regardless of it being legal or illegally recognised...and the fact that it's existence is in the lines of financial freedom, my gut tells me anybody hating on Bitcoin is either just not invested into it knowledgewise or they do some shoddy stuff that BTC could expose them for.

Btw, Bitcoin exists in an ecosystem with thousands of other coins/tokens and has maintained a positive relationship with all because of tolerance of opinions , but in terms of hate speech I have not seen it unless things get personal away from crypto.

Op lately I made a little finding about why so many people are against Bitcoin within my localty and I was shocked to understand that these people actually hate Bitcoin for no reason infact the majority of those who speak I'll about Bitcoin are those who has never had any investment experience, trading experience, people who don't understand anything about Cryptocurrency.

On point! For the few people who I've seen saying that Bitcoin is a scam, they have no single knowledge of it. This is something we all suffer from, wherein we are told something negative about someone or something, and then we create scenes in our head and add a negative tag based on hearsay. But trust me, people will keep getting convinced because it wasn't always this crowded. Back then, there were fewer people who believed and now there's a lot more... I have hope for this.
People can easily believe whatever they hear. Even if it's just a rumor from someone who doesn't even spend, invest, or take the time to study and investigate Bitcoin. Once they hear anything bad like Bitcoin being used as a way to scam other people or hide the money of some people, people can easily think negatively about Bitcoin.

But if there's someone who flexed money that was gained from Bitcoin, a lot of people are literally asking how they do it and asking to teach them. You see, it is all about the news they hear or see about Bitcoin. People don't have enough knowledge but do not give any time to learn about it that's why people always believe on any news they learn/hear about Bitcoin.
The main thing is not to rush to get results from Bitcoin, learning about it first is very important before we invest, the thing that most often destroys Bitcoiners' psychology is bad news, where there will be people who take advantage of their panic for their own gain. Therefore, there are many bitcoiners who say Bitcoin is a fraud, because they are not equipped with good knowledge about Bitcoin, so they experience disaster.

This is a political agitator

You should ignore him/it/bot.

This thing/it/bot takes control of the message by making the claim/attempt to separate free speech in to free speech and hate speech.

There is Only free speech.  You have it.   Or you Do not have it.

among people, especially those who are not yet familiar with digital technology and do not know what bitcoin is, they will definitely think that investing in btc is a fraud or gambling and in my area there are still many who think that investing in btc is a gambling or fraud and that is the cause mainly because of a lack of knowledge. but I think there will always be clear pros and cons. Let's focus on continuing to learn about BTC because I think one day there will be a lot of potential people who know about BTC and understand what BTC is.

Imagine someone hating Bitcoin because he was told that it is a scam when he has never been scammed before, I think the major reason why Bitcoin is been hated is because it has not been generally accepted by the governments I believe when it is pronounced as a legal tender in all the countries of the world even those who has come publicly to make hate speech against Bitcoin will be the first to embrace the change.
I think this doesn't only happen in your area because it is no longer a secret that some of the many people who hate or oppose Bitcoin, in fact they just hate it, but if they are asked they don't know exactly what they hate because they just judge based on empathy alone for someone who claims to be a victim of a ponzi scheme in the name of Bitcoin or those who have experienced fraud or bad experiences with Bitcoin or other cryptos due to their lack of knowledge.
In fact, I actually feel pity for the people who give Bitcoin a bad assessment, because they are not smart enough in receiving and processing all the information circulating and have too short minds, do not have the ability to analyze a problem or an issue in depth and evaluate Bitcoin as a negative thing. They should feel sorry for themselves because they cannot understand properly and do not have an open mind regarding any of the developments in digital currency.
Currently, the lack of clarity or lack of acceptance or clear regulations from the government regarding Bitcoin is indeed one of the aspects that has an impact on the acceptance of Bitcoin by society. But as time goes by, if their government provides rules or regulates the use of Bitcoin then the haters will definitely feel ashamed of themselves, hide and even just disappear.
So there is no need to worry about someone or a group of people who hate Bitcoin because our lives and success depend on ourselves.

Haters, spreaders of FUD, or whatever you call them. They're all entitled to their opinions about Bitcoin, they're not like us who have nothing against Bitcoin.
But the worrying part is that when they start to disseminate misinformation. However, with the technologies that we have today and with people being smarter and wiser, these haters who are just there to spread FUD are being verified. This is the practice of everyone these days. The good thing for them is that no one will sue them as bitcoin is decentralized and even its inventor satoshi won't sue them for telling hate speech against Bitcoin.

It is indeed worrying when the mainstream media starts to spread misinformation about Bitcoins but this can be countered by research. Since Bitcoin information is all around the internet, the institution that carries the task of misinformation will become unreliable.  So they will have their ratings down and people will more likely ignore this institution's announcement. This kind of method of misinformation will have only a temporary effect but eventually will be refuted by facts.  This will backfire to the institution that release that misinformation and may probably seen as not credible institution.
I think that even the non bitcoiners are still good when it's about researching about the news that they're spreading. These media really are startling the community and the hearts of the panic sellers.
That's how it is all starting when people disbelieve them because of how the media is romanticizing information that they're reporting to the world.
Well, it is no longer a secret to the most that if it's the media telling you something, then you shouldn't be gullible to believe it quickly and you need to verify it first.

The (CERD) committee on the elimination of racial discrimination was the first to address hate speech and the need to build regulation, prohibiting and provocative types of language. This committee intervene and yet hate speech still continue in our society today.

It will be very difficult to eradicate hate speech, racism and bullying in society. Because for some of them, this is something they usually do. And what's more, this also depends on the individual, sometimes there are people who have a bad attitude and always express hatred for something, spread bad news and lies, and carry out bullying actions. This is a crime, but unfortunately in society, not everyone understands it and wants to avoid it.

No matter how much and however the government makes regulations and however there is education, if this attitude is ingrained it will be very difficult to do. Moreover, if you look at social media and other online media, we can find millions or even more comments with hate speech. And this also includes Bitcoin. There is a lot of hate speech about Bitcoin even though they don't understand what Bitcoin is, but they are already judging it from one side just because they hear negative news about Bitcoin. This habit of hate speech is really bad, it has become something they are used to doing. In my country, I often encounter it, like there is no comment column without hate speech. especially for Bitcoin, they are like people who understand everything and are the wisest, judging Bitcoin as something bad, a scam, fraud, crime and so on, and they spread it through various media.

Those who hate Bitcoin are people without mind in their heads because someone who has a little knowledge about finance and freedom would accept Bitcoin without any obligation.
Since some people are quick to adopt what other people say without trying to find out reasons of their own, the hate speech may make some people never know what bitcoins really are. Freedom of speech is very powerful like the people event known yet the bitcoin can possibly gain an information through sharing of thoughts, experience and etc. If the people surrounded with have the capabilities to manage bitcoin properly know the bitcoins essential like more on positive side there's a chance that they will adopt the bitcoin too because they know already the good feedback but if that person receiving more on rants, hate and bad thing they possibly do the same thing even they don't experience it on the first hand. Include too those movies and other entertainment that use Bitcoin.

Actually people are always afraid of weird novel things, btc is not an exception. I'd rather not consider haters as a threat to btc, since any project needs to be continuously criticized in order to become better... So, in general, telling bad things about btc won't lead to banning bitcoins, and vice versa: if any hate speech against btc will be banned, it doesn't mean that btc itself won't be banned at some point. Cryptoprojects are not the thing to adore or to hate, they are just financial tool...
I do not even see how the OP linked those two subjects together as they have nothing to do with each other, if people out there want to criticize bitcoin and its users then let them, if they do not think bitcoin serves any function they can actually use for their benefit then most likely they are right, as someone that does not care for their privacy and that is fine with the possibility of the banks stealing their money one day out of nowhere and that likes for their transactions to be monitored to the smallest detail has no use for bitcoin.
