Nope. The real drama hasn't even begun yet. The biggest hurdle has always been the 2x deployment part of segwit2x that's due in 3 month's time.

Yes mate! We have now been entertained. Honestly, I feel this whole fork drama was just too hyped. Probably a lot of lessons were learnt during Ethereum fork which is making this whole process of bcc fork going smoothly or the way it was portrayed wasn't just that crazy. A lot of mental energy and stress has gone down into this. Now that we have it, I hope we start heading to the moon.

I guess both split and fork sagas are finally finished. I hope the community has blown out some steem, trolls and speculators have been busy these days and I hope now we can get back to the growth and relative stability we have had before.

To be honest, the fork that happened did not affect me anything at all. I was expecting for the price of BTC to drop but to my surprise, it even increased! The only thing that bothered me was the delay of payments made by my wallet since they closed all transactions for one day (to prevent any bugs, etc). Many people might hate me for this but I think that the fork that happened is only a conspiracy to let people panic sell their bitcoins, thus resulting to a lower price in the market. But this is again all speculation, no evidences and proof to support my claim.

I am expecting that cryptocurrency coins are going to go up now., Yes I do believe that Bitcoin will see 3k dollar BTC soon when it stabled already. Yes also for alts as it usually reflects on BTC. Yes again for investors. And soon enough for the fork not in BTC though. What do you expect next in crypto? Do you think we re finally going to see $3k BTC? Will alts start bouncing again? I think the rise of bitcoin starting today, after yesterdat It almost reach a $3k and drop again to around $2,6 and right now its start to recover little by little. Or maybe we'll see the discount time again, so we can buy more and profit more. But I wonder how the alts have a significan grow while the btc is falling down. Are you guys holding Bcc? because the starting price is high.

Well, it is what it is, it can't be undone now. Though the fork is not really or officially happening because it will be official this November where another debate will happen. That time we can also decide to save or to dump BCC.

I wouldn't say the fork saga is finished. The split has happened, but the dust hasn't settled. The markets are still extremely illiquid (the major exchanges like Bitfinex still don't have markets up), and BCH block intervals are very long for now, until difficulty readjustment. In time, things could get a bit more interesting. I don't think BCH has much chance to overtake Bitcoin, but we could see some "network split" effects on the market, and there could still be some turbulence.
My take on the market consensus is that most people thought (and still think) that Segwit lock-in and post-August 1 = time for moon. Time will tell; I've got an open mind.

i think there may still be some minor disturbance in the market and consequently some more fluctuation and delay to reach $3000 because it mostly is too soon to start speculating normally. the speculators are also enjoying this as they see the big swings as a way of making money. but since the general movement has been towards up it is easily possible to reach $3000 this month as the drama slows down and fades away.
and after that it will be a big rally and no more small rises because it was kept down for a long time.
