I am one of the gamblers who now only bets a small amount every time I want to carry out a gambling session, meaning that the winnings I manage to get when I am lucky are not too big or not as big as the winnings achieved by other gamblers, the difference may be due to the bets made. I do relatively small.
Or the bottom line is I never had a really big win, never more than $50. But I managed to get something else after I was involved in gambling where it was experience that told me that there are no significant results in an activity that only relies on a little effort, such as seeing, predicting or guessing and pressing the start button. Or it could also be said that there is nothing certain in an activity that only relies on luck, even though it is possible, it will never be sustainable in the long term, such as wins that are temporary and always happen by chance.
Gambling also requires proper planning, I think. As you said you gamble with small amount of money and it is better to win with that money then if you lose then you wait for next time. Not everyone gambles like you do. I have seen many gamblers who regularly lost money gambling but then gambled more money at that time to make up the lost money and lost again. This is not the sign of a good gambler at all. I gamble and I have control over this gambling. Like I have fixed every day that this amount of money I will use for gambling and I will gamble this amount every day. If things don't go according to plan and I lose, I don't use any more money at that time to gamble and wait again for the next day, so I don't have the chance to lose more money. I've had more success than fail gambling with this strategy, so I've discussed it here.
If I could choose then of course I would rather win than lose, because after all everyone likes to get money, and I'm sure everyone will say the same thing, but after all this is gambling where we can only leave everything to luck, in the sense that we can't choose or force victory.
On the other hand, I would say that you have a good plan in your approach to gambling where the strategy you mentioned is something that leads to risk management to minimize your chances of losing by setting a minimum limit on your bet amount each time you bet and also by not giving yourself the opportunity to bet again when you have lost.
Basically I would say that whatever the plan is if the goal is to lead to risk management to minimize the possibility of losing large amounts of money then it will always be good and recommended to do, because after all we will never be able to force ourselves to win in any way, because it is clear that gambling will always be a game that cannot be predicted.
