Most religion places some significance on dreams. I have even seen religious books that deal with dreams and interpretations. I wouldn't deny that I have not had some dreams that happened in the real world but I don't place much importance on dreams. I see dreams as the process of recollection of what happened in real life or our thoughts. However, if I have an instruction from my grandfather to place a bet on a game, I wouldn't hesitate to do it. It will cost me practically nothing to use my gambling fund to stake and see what comes out of it. But I will not also stake more than what I can afford to lose because of just a dream. I have never had such instruction, so have never won any game with predictions from dreams.

There are indeed religion on which they do really give out importance on whatever the things that they do able to dream on.

Ex. this one;

From the days of first contact European observers of Native American societies have consistently remarked upon the extreme significance given to dreams by native American peoples. In many cases the dream was accorded an equal or greater reality than waking. Dreams were a source of power while waking reality was the arena of struggle and conflict.

Actually if we do try to research up in between correlation of your dreams and with religion then it would really be tons of different variations on different
approach in connection to it with religion and dreams.

Most times people always pay deaf ears to their gambling dream. Most people has been given an opportunity in the dream to play certain game to succeed in life but they neglected it. When the door is closed, is when  they start being serious about gambling. And this things always happen to people who don't often play gambling.

There is this my friend, who his grandfather has taken him to a casino hall in the dream and show him game to play, and warn him to make sure he plays it. After he wakes up he didn't give a trial. After the game played he started complaining that these where the exact game he was given but didn't play it. Another time the man came and still asked him why he didn't play that game? He said he didn't believe in such dream coming to reality. The man told him that he has $30 in his account, that he should used it to play the game that he would not come again to give him game. After he woke up he didn't still believe and did not play that game. Until he also discovered that the game still played according to how he was given, and he also has the amount equivalent to what the man explained in his dream. He started crying bitterly that his grandfather has try to change his life but he was so dumb not listen to him.

I must say your story is really interesting and reading through it was fun for me as it's more like a farces to me because I've not come across such except for that which is usually done using animals and the rest of it, a typical example was during the world cup few years back where an octopus was made to predict some games and the likes of it.

In the case of the octopus predictions in the world cup few years back, I saw a psychological down play because these predictions were made before the games and the various teams were dully aware of these predictions so it's possible for those who believe so much in it will already be psychological affected by such predictions and may fail to perform well knowing it was predicted that they are loosing. Well if this dream story you made mention of is actually realistic then I think people should give it an attention as the case of the octopus then we're correct at some points.

Isn't this related to superstition? I mean, I never believed in the dreams that come into my mind every night, I often dream of getting small wins in a row, but for me it's just something we think about but that thought drifts off to sleep.

honestly, I read your story like it was something that couldn't be believed, but the fact is that your friend experienced this.
Personally, I have never experienced anything like this and I am worried that your friend is actually just experiencing an addiction or an early sign of addiction when he often bets and often loses so it carries over to his dreams.

I have experienced in the past when I was still a gambler that it was dark but it was just a dream like being approached by someone to gamble and win a big win but it turned out I fell asleep while gambling.
so I've experienced what your friend experienced, but it's not like the same balance or the same winnings as in the dream.

I hear people say these things alot about getting updates from people in their dream. Well, I don't believe in these things and i also do not believe in dead people coming back to pass a message, once you die, i am not expecting to see you anywhere. The last person I met who gambled with the instruction he was given in his dream lost the game Grin. So, I have not had any reason to believe in such updates.

Most of these dreams are mere thoughts a person has already built in his head. When he goes to bed, all these thoughts begin to replay back to him and ofcourse the whole event will feel so real. If these dreams were real, all those who followed their dreams would have been millionaires and billionaires by now.

Seriously, this is completely weird, is their any possibility of it happening. This can be a total exaggeration and very difficult for me to confide in such stories.
Maybe that your friend was making too many loses on his gambling and his grandfather needed to intervene to help his secure a win and recover from his loss. I still doubt that such a thing could happen but for me I don't have any experience or neither have I met someone with same experience.

I have never won the match of the dream I had. But I think that things like that must exist and be experienced by some gamblers so that they believe in their dreams and place bets on their team. But it may be very rare to find someone who has a dream about a match where he will follow the instructions from his dream in placing his bet. It would be better if the man didn't have to be sad because he didn't follow his grandfather's instructions in the dream. After all, it was all over. Maybe later, similar dreams will come to him, so now, he doesn't need to feel sad anymore. Maybe it looks strange to us because we haven't experienced it but not for those who have experienced it and followed the instructions from the dream. And some win from the guidance of their dreams.

I've never dreamt to sleep about winning at gambling.
Because I consider gambling as entertainment and fun, not for a source of income, let alone to be used as a profession. because in real life, you have a business or job so gambling is not considered a job or a source of income so that it gets to the bottom of dreams.

The gambler who had the dream to make win in the gambling site should ready to build their skills in the game.Because skills was help the gamblers to make money in the gambling site.Every game had their own technical skills,So the gamblers who want to make the big win in the game should learn the game from the basic.Their will be different strategies for each game by the different gamblers. The gamblers who like to make huge money will keep their concentration in one game.Because playing different games will make the gamblers to forget about the strategies of the other games. So gamblers should choose one game in long run.

I believe you misinterpreted the use of "dream" in the context of this thread, to be honest. Op and other here are not talking about dreaming in an aspirational or figurative way. We are talking about dreaming in a literal way and receiving supernatural information while dreaming, information which could be used to win money in gambling, either by playing specific numbers in lottery or being instructed to play an specific game under specific conditions.
Leaving behind the supernatural aspect of this thread/conversation, I believe it is reasonable to assume most of serious/dedicated gamblers have fantasized about winning big in a casino or a lottery. It is part of the psychology of the casino to keep people hooked up to their services and one of the reasons for them to widely advertise the winners on social media an Television, to induce those dreams on others.

Whether one believes in supernatural phenomena or not, one must admit this is an interesting topic to talk about.

i have never had an experience where because of a dream i won, but i have a brother who has won several times at gambling from events he saw in his dreams. so in my area there is a book that can interpret a person's dreams into numbers and usually people will use these numbers to gamble. my brother often plays this and wins several times. so i don't want to believe it, but the event is real, but i want to believe it but my logic says that it doesn't make sense, it's quite complicated to explain.
When a person wins a bet after seeing it in a dream, he will begin believing it. If he still wins such a bet more than once, his belief may be strengthened. But personally I don't believe this but it could be something that is not uncommon. Because luck is deeply associated with betting. Maybe what he dreamed of that day was a victory in fate. Nothing beyond that. Maybe many people are commenting on this thread because of winning the bet after seeing the dream but there may be many who lost the bet after seeing the dream which is not discussed. It can be called a blind faith.

But I don't want to hurt someone else's faith rather I respect. If anyone thinks he wins by considering his strategy or belief, he is welcome.

Well there was one particular dream that went straight to my core memory about gambling.

Back in 2017, I was notoriously active in gambling Dota 2 skins in dota2lounge.com. Before, you can bet your skins by placing your bet in a team and the chances were mostly 50/50 depending on the team matchup. There was a time where I would win around $50 worth of Dota 2 skins and I would recycle them to be used for new bets at the same time.

I did this cycle for about 2-3 months until there was a dream that I experienced. During that time, it was the internationals- meaning it was the biggest tournament in Dota 2 history where prizes would reach millions of dollars. I dreamt about a certain team winning against a specific matchup and I thought it was a sign for me to go all in with all of my skins.

Fast forward, my $150 worth of skins (I started with only $5 worth of skins) were all gone in a single game. My months of being lucky was wiped in just a single night.

I can honestly say that I’ve never had a dream where gambling was involved. At least as far as I can remember. I typically don’t dream at all, but on the odd occasion that I do it is usually a dream about surviving in a post apocalyptic hellscape or playing sports. I guess if a bet came to me in a dream I’d give it a shot though.

I don't request loans~
~

The most recent dream I had of gambling was about a game of roulette. Sadly I don't remember much of the game itself, but I'm pretty sure it devolved into some weird batshit crazy fantasy thing since the people at my table started mutating into weird monsters all of a sudden, a Kdrama plot involving me as an MC happened which lead me to something similar to a suspense situation with a jumpscare in the end which waked the shit out of me.

Anyway, that's enough about my dream, I rarely have dreams in the first place that I can remember, let alone one that I'd call prophetic. I won't say it's dumb, I mean it's a lot better to base your bets on something than nothing (which doesn't increase your chances tbf, but still) since I'd probably do the same, but I wouldn't really expect much out of it.

There are so many reasons why some people won't bother or believe such predictions from dreams. I my self, I'm not a fan of such fantasies as it might not be true. Dreams most times are just our imaginations playing in our heads like visions. So if you are given some games in your dreams just know that you might have been over thinking about a particular no or game before you slept off(I guess that's what scientists will tell you).

You shouldn't just because of your dreams regret over your loss or rush into placing bets with huge amounts as they aren't certain and unreasonable. When making such decisions, we should be wise enough to also make adjustments or calculations to our games to avoid losing and regrets of playing such games.

Well, it can be true, or I'd say that I believe in such dreams that will show you numbers or play where it could be the key to winning in a gambling game, but I don't think there is such an exact as when you will play or what game or what; there is only a sign and never be super exact, and as it is stated by researchers, this kind of phenomenal is still not valid or accurate.

I understand the wants of the gamblers to win, but to rely on something like a dream is absurd. Because of this, many gamblers will wish that they could dream something like the OP's person said, but in reality, not all of us have that luck or dream. It may be a coincidence, but there's no hurt in trying to follow the dream about winning, but don't expect that not all dreams will come true.

When the door is closed, is when  they start being serious about gambling. And this things always happen to people who don't often play gambling.

I think when something like this happens, it's just coincidence. I haven't dreamt when I'm gambling as I don't gamble all the time to have it in my subconscious mind before I go to sleep. I have heard stories of some individuals being this lucky but how do we verify that they're not lying. Any individual can claim that the reason why he won is as he had a dream last night or some days ago that revealed he should play that game that he used in winning.

If I start dreaming about gambling, I'll start to withdraw from gambling as that's a sign that I'm gambling too much. Gambling is a form of entertainment and we shouldn't put all our interest in gambling as it isn't a secure source of making money but should be an activity for relaxation. Dreams aren't real, they're stories our mind make up when we're sleeping and something they're things we saw during the day.
I think you're mistaken gambling for something else, because had it been you have a clue on how gamble has changed the life of some persons, you wouldn't have considered it as part of fun or intertainment, fine if you said gambling is not a job I totally agree with you,but my uncle is a perfect example of the people that gamble has taken to a higher level.

Right now as I speak he's in uk with his family, not only that he also build a very big mansion in the village he even bought a car all in the name of gamble.

He has been into this gambling  of a thing for a very long time he kept loosing and loosing but he always have this strong feeling that he will keep striving that some day he's gonna hit the jackpot, and that's exactly what happened, now he's doing absolutely well.he doesn't have a job nor business no source of income,so he choose betting as his source of income right now he's still wining
Most times he normally get some tips in the dream and he always won with those tips, but not often.

Gambling has reformed him totally  if not for gamble  I don't know what would have become of him,so in this case I would say gambling has become his source of income.

A little unique and quite interesting. usually, things like what you tell in this thread are still believed or trusted by people from several Asian countries. for example, China, my country Indonesia, and several other Asian countries. things like this are quite closely related to local culture and culture. OK, so let's talk about the topic you brought up in this thread. most gamblers, especially those who don't play the lottery, won't take dreams like the ones you describe in this thread seriously. Just imagine, or try to remember something, how many times have we had dreams related to gambling. or, dreams that foreshadow something. I will not deny this, because after all I live and come from an eastern culture that is thick with something like that. but let's be realistic, how many times do we dream, especially what we dream is described very clearly as you say in this thread. does every dream always produce something positive?, the answer is no.

Let's ask lottery fans, how many times have they had dreams and tried to interpret them to produce numbers. then, they will buy a lottery ticket with that dream result. 99% of them experience defeat, or it could be said that the dream has nothing to do with it at all. even in medical science, such things can be explained with simple logic. but, that doesn't mean I deny a dream that could be a sign, whatever it is, including being linked to gambling. it could be that the dream is a message, conveyed by one's ancestors to their descendants, let's just say that. the problem is, of the many gamblers who experience things like the content in this thread, what percentage of gamblers actually turn out to be lucky with their dreams. I can only say, they are the lucky ones who are able to get it. which means, most dreams like this are the result of the projection of our own thoughts. I can't explain it well, but it's rare for someone to have a dream like the one you said in this thread. For me personally, I have never really experienced a dream like this. however, if there is a community that has had an experience like this, and succeeded in getting your win. well, that's just luck being on your side.

Fine by Time
Lol, you remind me of the first time i won my first gambling game. It was my uncle who woke me up early in the morning and gave me some games to bet for him with 5,000 naira. He said the game was giving to him by his mother which was my grandmother to bet. So, on my way to bet i took out my last 1000 naira and went to the local gambling shop. I bet his own and mine.

It was exciting that i won 11,000 from the game and my uncle won as well. I never told him. But this made me had this feeling that games given in the dreamland may somewhat be the best prediction. Ever since then i have always wanted my grandmother to visit me and give me my own dream games or maybe give my uncle again but to no avail.

       -   Honestly speaking, I had a dream before where I won a lot of money in a lottery because the lotto outlet I left and the number I chose to bet came out. It seems like the things that are happening are real, but they're just a dream.

My lips even said that I wish I hadn't woken up. But even though that happened to me in my dream, it is said that usually those who have beautiful dreams often agree with the elders; the opposite always happens. which seems to be true because I often lose the lottery and never, if ever, win.
