I just came over from the 'Investor Games' subforum (hope I got that right). A guy there said he came across a site asking to double his bitcoin, he paid in $20 and got $40 the following day or so. He then went for a higher plan of $300 hoping to cash out $600 but they asked him to pay in another $300 before cashing out. He got confused and was asking for advice.

I think I've been there before. Before I became a forum member. I once came across one of those scam sites promising to generate bitcoins. Thought it was real, but when they asked me to pay some transaction fee, I was stuck. I had no money to pay the fee. With the benefit of hindsight, I know I'd have sent them the 'transaction fee' had I had the coins to send them.

Now, what have been your experience with internet scams?
How do we help people not to get scammed?

I never get scam so far in this cryptocurency but had it when i was investing in hyip ponzi scheme.
What i will say is if any website or anything offer very big amount of profit which does nto make sense then just stay away from them. I am pretty sure that is scam. Learn from what i got before.

No I have not been scammed. Thanks to this forum, I get reasonable insight before doing any transaction. I'd advice investors to be very careful before making any transaction in terms of Bitcoin sale or purchase.

I got scammed in my first experience when I try to make money online, after that I read many article about internet scam and be very careful about doing something on the internet. People need learn more about their security. We can't help people if they already get scammed on crypto. The experience in this type of business is the thing that you should consider. It is okay for me since it just a small amount. All I know god will make some actions for those type of person.

If you want to know the bounty scam or not, you need to see or keep an eye on the bounty you follow. From the start the bounty was made up to the start of ICO and ICO runs up to less than 1 month of ICO completion. What is the ICO's income, whether the number of shareholders on the project and how long the ICO took place. After that you can conclude the ICO is successful or not.

When i was first introduced to Bitcoin.. I knew nothing about scams and ponzi schemes.. I invested around half a bitcoin on a telegram based bot.. It turned out to be a scam in 2,3 days and i lost my money.. It was worth 1000$ that time..

Actually all are running behind the money so people believe what his friends is saying to earn money. There is fraudulent everywhere. But you only learn-it was a fraud when you face that kind of problem. At first stage your comment can not believable to him because he is running behind the money. But when he face in reality he will come back. just wait.

No I don't experience it that I've been scammed but for sure that if I experience it I'm surely I will feel down, I don't know how to get up and I don't know what to do. Some of the user here are professional in scamming because they all know the process here by just communicating with you they can get all of your information and there's a possibility that you can get scammed.

No, I haven't scammed but I don't want to be scammed because it was suck, We are having so much effort here to earn money then they will just get all those, it was not right. They were right I should have background check first and should have first the knowledge before taking steps.

Yes, I think its common for young people to get scammed because of lack of experience and knowledge in the internet. I've been scammed on some online games before I learned how to figure out not to be so trusting.

I have been scammed when i was 16 years old, they said when I invest some money, they will give it to me times two of the money that I invested to them. I didn't check the background of that person and I didn't ask opinions to other people. Then I invest some of my money because I'm expecting the times two of my income but when I give it to them, they just blocked me in all communication. Even though I was scammed, I learned a lot of things like always check the background and don't forget to ask opinions to other people to avoid being scammed.

By carefully reading their background profile and doing some thorough research you can help yourself avoid getting by someone. It's like they are a great manipulator which part if their skills is tricking someone into falling to their schemes or traps which if you before you make a yes or trust you must dig deep and think carefully because after all it is your money your putting through.

I've been scammed once using cryptocurrency. I won't mention the company name or I think its' only owned by an individual. Although the first members earned, the newer members weren't. Their website just suddenly vanished. So be careful in joining new cryptocurrency companies. Better check the reviews in the internet first.

no one knows exactly where the scam and what is not, except maybe he has the 6th sense may be hehe, the point back to dirikita each, we do something we really understand and we know. my advice is more careful, because it all depends what we do as well. yes so lah I never experienced it because I myself was not careful.
No,I have not yet been scammed because when I start here in bitcoin my friend told me to not be a impulsive especially I am investing because we did not know every people here so I did not trust immediately. All we need here in bitcoin is to be careful for us to not be scammed. So we should be wise here in bitcoin.

I am sure everyone who started out in bitcoin had these sort of bad experience when you wanted to test out new tokens and investments and like everybody i got scammed a few times with new investment opportunities and other schemes during 2014 to 2015 because the price was going down and i did not expect the price to shoot like this,so i used to invest my coins in some of the weirdest investment opportunities to check whether it was genuine. Cheesy
ha ha  yeah im in the same boat, but we learn from our mistakes , unfortunatly.... its the nature of the beast.

Haven't been scammed but I don't invest on different websites. Should always ask peers and trust your gut if something seems too good to be true.....it usually is.
