If I'm not mistaken, $NEAR is an AI token. I purchased it at the beginning of the year, but soon after, I sold it, believing that it had reached its peak. I regret not holding onto it, but it happens.
Omni Network (OMNI)、Numerai (NMR)、SSV Network (SSV)，they seem pretty good.
You choose what you think is right for you. I've got an AI coin but it's not on the list and I won't tell you what it is because I might look a shiller. But even with that, everyone needs to DYOR for checking out what you want to invest. I've got a stash for BTC already and that's why I am free to expand to whichever type of altcoin I want to invest and with AIs, I'm not yet on the profit with it or even I am, it's not that much that I am expecting to be and that's why I am holding on. 
Well it's really hard to buy AI tokens, I mean you really have to investigate first before riding the wave of the new hype. And as we all know throughout crypto's hype from ICO to P2E and now AI, one must really do their own investigation and not just simply believed on what crypto influencers are going to say. Some might be solid project like OMNI, but there could be hidden projects that can give us like 50x returns or even higher and that's what investors are really looking at. That one diamond in the rough that will turn everything and make us right but there are huge gamble in our end. It's just a question on whether we are willing to take that risk or not.
I do not see solid projects among them because any altcoins can disappoint. People have forgotten Luna which is.now Luna Classic (Lunc). See how people lost to that coin while the developers gained huge amount of money. Seed how Solana increased significantly from $8 to over $200 but has not gotten to its all-time high. When the bear market would begin, a lot of people will cry or become depressed after they see their money fall 10 times or more. We should just use this coin to gamble. Wait for the dump and buy at a very low price and let it rise and sell as it fast as possible. You are right in the other parts of your posts but as see those altcoin as gambling projects.
