Yes. I experienced being scammed twice before. An investment company also promised me to have a higher return on my investment. That was a lesson for me then. Because I was very eager to earn and to have investment, I was careless in choosing where I put my money.

Well, I haven't. How? Don't invest in something which is so good to be true. There are lot of ways to track a scam but then, we usually get blinded for expecting high profit. But, as an investor, we need to be wise enough. Think a lot of times before making a decision, but if you really have the courage to lose, you may take the risk, sometimes, those things that has higher risk has higher comeback of profit. So, be wise!

I was cheated by 3 projects I did not want to talk about. I lost about 2ETH to buy their tokens but eventually it was canceled due to not reaching the softcap. Since then, I have been drawing lessons for the following investments.  Cry

Well, I can say that I'm victim of scam, but there is more to that, I wasn't simply scammed, I have dealt with someone who is probably a scammer and due to my health issues and personal problems I had lost a lot of bitcoin.
Simply put: I (partially) scammed myself.
I won't elaborate on that, you can search my post history and you'll find what I'm talking about, I don't really wanna talk about this at this moment, as there is some hope to recover my funds - hope dies last.
If you are wealthy person or English lawyer and want to help me somehow don't hesitate to PM me  Cool

My own experience was while trying to invest on Arcblock ICO. I got a mail referring me to the ICO site, whereas the ICO site was a fake site with fake address. It was after I sent my fund and didnt receive my token that I realized have been scammed. I felt too foolish to mention it on the telegram group but later heard of some other victims as they made complain in the group, some other scam came but that was the most regretting because of my carelessness; I should have verified at least before sending my money.

I was almost scammed once. I received a message from a friend I hadn't heard from in quite some time. "She" wrote me in French. I speak French, but not that well. She is one of my only friends that I spoke French to when we met. The message said that she was in Burkina Faso with he daughter and she was robbed. She was asking for me to send her some money. I know that she had been to Burkina Faso before. I think her ex-husband was from there. I really believed the message. Nobody ever writes me in French, other than her. Anyway, I was seriously thinking about sending her some money. Luckily, I check her Facebook profile and realize that she hadn't even gone to Africa recently. I sent her a message and she told me everything was fine. Pretty good try by the scammers!

Can you share this experience?

If you say yes, what the project was it? Why did you believe in this project?
I don't think I have ever really been scammed. Well, actually a couple days ago I may have been to a small extent. Our washing machine broke. I called a repairman to take a look at it. I told him what the problem was and he said it was probably the motor. He came and took at look at it. In about 5 minutes he already told us that it was actually another problem that would cost 3 times as much. He told us he doesn't have time to do it. I think he could have told us what the problem was by phone, if he had just asked us one more question. For some reason, he didn't ask. He just came and took the money for diagnostics after 10 minutes of "work".
