Young but I'm not that bold
I may click on a signature link if I saw it attractive or it was new and I have never heard of the site. but old campaigns that are here for more than year, I already know these sites and tried some of them so why will I click on them ?

You can have a look at the stats publicly of the links in mine, for example for the ASICMiner blade guide https://goo.gl/#analytics/goo.gl/hv6h93/all_time.

Never once have I clicked on any of the links. I literally held off from getting a debit card from one of the sites because they had a signature campaign so I figured it was likely a scam.
This is not true. PD had longest running sig campaign here. Do u think they r scam?

Have you ever clicked on someone's signature advertisement on here?
Generally no! But, I visited most of the sites I saw in other people's signature including your bitpools.

Offer escrow, receive negative trust
More often than not, a signature goes un-clicked.  But oftentimes, a coin will truly gain my attention...sometimes that signature campaign does pay off (for the team & the user with said sig).

No. Fuck no!

In fact, I auto-ignore anyone with sig spam (except for a select few). It does wonders for the signal to noise ratio.

But it's easier to just go to reddit.

Ugh, I'd rather read sig spam. LMAO.

Yes and No, yes I clicked a signature if its fresh or relatively new, but if its not like signature is same since day one, it doesnt lure me or I guess anyone to click the link anymore. Thats a tip to those who plan to come up with a signature campaign, change the sig style more often.

I do click on new sites just to see what they offer. And no I do not think that the sites are scam sites, you might not like what they are offering but that doesn't mean they will scam you.

I just clicked when I saw some unique site and I'm just ignore gambling site.
The Company can't be too stupid to advertise on this forum for nothing , their site traffic may be increased so they keep launching sig campaign on this forum.
If they feel no increased on their traffic, they will not launch sig campaign and they all will vanish on the future

Have you ever clicked on someone's signature advertisement on here?

Yes, I have. A good many number of times.

Sometimes if I am going to visit a site and the link is on someone's sig on the page I am on, I will just check the url and click. Smiley

I came to know a lot of services just through the sigs. Ethereum, Waves, Steem etc. Just checked out Xaurum and Heat Ledger.  Grin

I think this should be fairly obvious.

Tens of different companies have spent hundreds, if not thousands of BTC on signature payments over several years. Several campaigns have lasted several months, and for the most part appear to close due to reasons other then ineffective advertising.

Companies would not throw this much money at an advertising method over such a long period of time if the advertising was not effective.

To answer on a personal level, I generally will not click on a sig ad, however I might research a company that I see in someone's signature.

Edit: lol, yes there have been a decent number of annoying signature spammers posting useless crap here.  (Maybe not "lol").

Yes but only because of missclicks.

I only click on genuine sigs ( no sig campaigns ).
Sheesh, where were you when I had a blog of mine on my sig for more than 2 months ? :S

Nope and yep, due to the amount of participants a signature campaign gains in its run time, running a campaign for more than a month or two is simple waste of money. Majority of individuals who are not in the know visit the site in the first week or so of the campaign starting.

Saying this from my own experience of running a sig camp.

Inb4 OP goes on and starts a(nother) rant about sig camp, they are here to stay mate

I hear ya. I almost wrote a whole new board where you had to verify that you actually own bitcoins to post. But it's easier to just go to reddit.

This site has become a non-stop barrage of signature campaigners. I know we can turn off the signatures but I keep them on just to see if the person who posted is just an idiot or they are a signature campaigner just posting to get their numbers up.

Never once have I clicked on any of the links. I literally held off from getting a debit card from one of the sites because they had a signature campaign so I figured it was likely a scam.

*prepares for a barrage of signature campaigners posting pointless crap in this thread*
