Gambling in a sad mood from my point of view will be done without objectivity which one thing that gambling does not want because losing money in addition to the loss or grief is double tragedy. For me, I haven't done something of that nature and I don't think I can because when I gamble, I want to be in the right state of my mind and do it effectively.

I live in a community where a person is judged badly if they see this person going to a landline casino or a sports book shop. Therefore I only play when I am alone and with bitcoin so no people from my country knows that I do gambling. I used to play gambling when I was sad but after the session I played I ended up even more sad than before. Gambling is not a good way to forget your troubles, nor alcohol is.

I gamble most of the time when I am alone.
Same goes for me I also gamble when I am alone and feel bored,But I really control the amount that I deposit since I am only playing to past my time and not for the profit .

I gamble with my friends because it is more exciting and fun and also because I am used to play with other people personally. I sometimes gamble when I'm bored or lonely. It helps to entertain and cheer up, but you need to set a limit to not lose all the money in case of failure.

Me too. I usually gamble just to have some fun with my friends and family and I don't gamble if I'm too depressed or have personal issues because it won't help and you are going to gamble when your decision is clouded and you may even lose more, adding to your grief. Maybe boredom yes, specially at night when there is nothing to do and you just go online and play your favorite online dice game or even slot machine. Just to past the time, when you are alone and not yet sleepy. But to escape the your personal problem. No.

I never gamble to escape worry, trouble,boredom,loneliness, grief or lose, mainly because I know gambling is inherently stupid and you are going to lose, but I like the thrill of gambling in special occasions when I take a trip to Las Vegas with friends or something. So actually I gamble less than 10 days per year.
If I was rich I would like to attend the big boxing fights in MGM grand and I would for sure play around in the casino while im at it, but im not rich so im stuck watching pirated streams.

Some are born that has a gambling instinct in their blood.
It is not really stupid if you are just gambling just for recreational activities or when you are just having fun with your friends but when the time that everything gets rpserious or you even hurting yourself and those who are around you just for gambling then that's what makes you stupid.
Some rich people Gamble to relieve stress and boredom some are just passing time.
Some are grieving for what's lost and some are happy by hitting the jackpot.
It can either take you up or down so be responsible for the risk that one must take when gambling.

if i have trouble, worry, grief or lose normally i would talk with my family to solved these problem and if i have loneliness i would visiting my friends and having fun with them so my purposse for gambling depending on my desire because if i want to gamble and have money so i would do it and if i felt that is enough then i would stop gamble and leave

How i wish that i would be rich like that in able to do those things i do really like to experience but well back to the topic I do play gambling when my mood is good and if i do have vacant times.I dont really play on those times when im in trouble or boredom,grief/loss because most of the time i will not able to enjoy my game because i cant think off properly for sure.One of the main reasons I want to be rich is literally to go watch the big boxing bouts. Like for example I would like to make a trip with some bros and go on Las Vegas this weekend to watch Canelo vs Golovkin fight, but I dont have money so I have to resort to stay at home and watch it on some stream (I can't even afford PPV, im saving every penny for crypto).
Hopefully in 10 years BTC will be worth a fuckton and also hopefully I nail a homerun and im holding a new crypto that blows up x1000 in value, that would be enough to retire.

I mostly gamble only whenever I have free time, I seldom gamble to escape frustrating issues on my mind, gambling is a form of entertainment for me and I really enjoy the fun and excitement of playing the games I like if I can afford it as there is always a risk to lose my money on a bad day.

Gambling while in the sad mood will make our game harder. In gambling we need a fresh mind, so it is better not to do gamble when we had no good mood. I myself will try to never gamble on such situation.

As an occasional gambler, I do gamble most when I'm stressed and bored. Normally, I play once or twice a month in a nearby casino. Since I'm done with my addiction days I only tend to gamble to release my stress and to have fun and enjoy somehow.
I guess gambling while your an in a stage in which you are troubled/bothered, lonely, grief or loss. Would make a negative impact not only to yourself but also to people around you. I'm not saying that it could escalate into something unpleasant but the possibility of doing things beyond one's control is high.

Yes, a lot of times already and most especially if I am bored and lonely. It makes me forget at that moment that I don't have a companion and doesn't make me feel I'm bored in fact it amuses me and makes me forget almost anything negativity crossing my mind.

Yes. sometimes I used this as an excuse to gamble. Specially if I'm bored I either play online or go to a landbased casino. Although its not a good reason to really play, I just found it to be effective method for me. I also play to escape my stress in life I don't want to think of it all the time. It's a stress reliever for me. And for those we said No, I think one time or another, you have gamble to get away from your problems in life. So I definitely agree with the OP here.

I only gamble when I was bored, if I got trouble or grief I never gamble because it can distract me from gambling and I won't be able enjoy the game, gamble is best play when you are in clear mind and relax, with that you can really get the fun from gambling and gambling with problem on your mind can make you more stressful

Why do you think sports betting is better?
I always thought so too, but that was before bitcoin and provable fairness
Because it's more effort to frame sports matches than it is to a closed source casino
But since provable fairness is introduced I find gambling other than sports betting to be in the same rank

If you're going to pull out a bottle each time you feel lonely or you're going to start gambling, it doesn't matter, you're going to create habits that are beyond your mental control
You're just going to act as soon as you feel something bad although you know it's wrong
Don't drink and gamble or do drugs when you feel sad, just don't
It's only going to make things worse

I never gamble to forget my problems, although gambling can become a problem itself when I lose control. But that does not happen very often. Gambling can be very exciting and the thrill to earn easy money can make you forget about your concerns. So better to solve your problems and do not mix that with the gambling or you will miss all the fun.

Yeaa having too much spare time could be the reason for anyone to start gamble.As you feel boring have nothing to do and you have gambling habit previously.
You will run to gamble instead doing another hobby that actually not harmful , quite addictive.
