I've not lost coins from sending it to a wrong person, but yes i lost ome coins in scams.
No problem, because it consider it as learning money. The last year I haven't lost coins to scams and ponzi's
yeah most people suffered defeat or loss in betting or investing that to be scam.
I think it is fair when you take the option to grow your btcoin because its the risk ?
I have never been scammed but I do have lost some Bitcoins in the past but that was all because of the fact that I was sometimes was gambling with them.
Gambling with Bitcoins is not a good thing to do because Bitcoin is worth allot of money and it is just a waist to gamble with them.

Have you ever lost Bitcoin?

If that happened, why?   Was it your own fault,  or were you scammed?
Many people lost when hashocean close this is the big scam ever in bitcoin world I'm glad that I'm not the one who lost alot with this site , but I also lost many times of other hyip company but now I'll stop joining and promoting hyip sites. I don't see any future on joining all of them turning to scam soon.

Nope, i am just trying to be carefull with every operation that i make, for me every coins is important cause it's my own money, if you are not care about your money, who will?
im really careful with all the operations i do too to be honest because i know that everyone just wants to steal my money usually and thats it, its a really bad thing to be honest

i have lost some bitcoins when i was gambling, i have lost something like 0.2 btc, though thats not a lot of money to be honest, and i really like gambling as it is entertaining

Well I recently lost bitcoin but I got scammed. The site runned away before paying me. Im just unlucky for not cashing out early.

A lot of users feel this way. The best way to handle a ponzi is to not play it.
Don't think you can outsmart a ponzi by timing your exit.
i guess it's hash ocean or similiar ponzi, ponzi just promising thing which is too good to be true and people still believe it no wonder people who greedy will lost

Anyone who loses coins is just a very irresponsible person. Its not hard to make sure you back up your wallets and keep a good password.
If you got scammed or hacked then the coins are not lost but stolen and that is a different situation.
I think the meaning is the same for both of them also feel the loss. my exchange account been accessed by someone. Fortunately I give authy sms for each withdraw

The feeling is very much the same but the thread title and then the OP are confusing. But losing coins and being robbed for coins are two different pies.

The biggest loose I had were into the rentrigs I didn't know how it work and I tried to invest there and for newbies their support sucks I invested around 0.10btc trying to rent. It should be just deposit and the rig owner would create and run as we are paying for the service.

i have lost some bitcoins in the past, to be honest i have lost the most on gambling most probably because i used to do some gambling in it, though i usually never win anything

I voted on Yes but my own fault Sad. I lost btc before when i was a newbie and always get attracted to those promising sites that they will give hourly profit for lifetime usually of them are HYIPs so i get attracted and put all my bitcoin that i bought it's like 0.05 and the second one is those doubler sites also because they are also tempting because of the usually double your bitcoin in just 100 hrs so because i'm downed because of my loss on HYIPs so i try it and after that same result i loss bitcoin Sad. So now i'm very careful on the decision that i will make and just doing the altcoin trading because slowly but surely i'm recovering that loss amount Smiley.
I do not call it loss when you loose money in trying somthing new, like ponzi, gambling and what not. The main reason behind this thinking is that if you will not try anything, how will you know whether it is good or bad ?

May be you consider you gained some knowledge by paying that. Spending for learning is not a loss IMHO.

I have lost some coins in cloud mining and doubler sites in the past, as I got greedy and wanted to double my coins in quick time and at the end of the day lost everything.

Yes I've lost a bitcoin for 1 week. 😂 I think it's more than 0.1bitcoin because of the gambling. I do not gambling anymore because at the end I am going to lose more then I make with Bitcoin gambling again to reach all my lost bitcoin. So for now. I should stop to play a gambling because i always lose. That's my experience of losing bitcoin. And the second is scam. I am investing to the site of goodlybit. But after that. How many days later i think it's a three days. That's website is forbidden i cannot open that sites. And i realize i am scam of that site.

Yes I did lost some of my investment because my borrower did not pay me back.

I am using a platform known as btcjam for p2p lending business and invested heavily in various loan listings. Two of them did not repaid the money so I lost that way. Also I have lost few trades as well. Otherwise I have never lost any bitcoin.

well i gues sits always better not to deposit in any websites that offer the interest that sounds too good to be true because those websites are usually just some scams

i have never lost any bitcoins to be honest to any scams because i just dont invest into such things and i think that everyone should just avoid it, though i lost a little bit on gambling
