I've had a number of fat-finger errors in gambling in the past, but nothing like OP's story stuck in my mind. In particular, what I can only remember is the confusion in decimals and zeros. I remember I've erroneously placed a bet in ETH with a missing zero after the decimal, so I was surprised when I saw my total stake to be something like 0.2 ETH when I only intended to bet only 0.02 ETH, or somewhere that amount.

There were also times when an error message pops out because I've erroneously placed bet amounts that are larger than my wallet balance. Errors actually prompted me to maintain only small amounts in my betting wallet. I once had a sign of relief that I was able to withdraw much of my funds right before a similar error was committed. I could have lost a huge bet.

Doing mistake will be the common one,but analysis of the mistake and change your attitude towards it was the most important one.Without the mistake the gambler won’t learn the game.So without the game,he can’t win the big money from the gambling.If you lose 7 games is not the mistake.But if you not learn the mistake and if you lose the eight game,then it will be the big mistake by the gambler.So he should stop the game after the continuous loss even the gambler is the millionaire.Find and correct the mistake in the gambling is the essential one.

I haven't personally had such experience but I've Heard of same stories from people. The mistake is good when you've won, because you will be proud of your mistake, but the whole story would have changed if you lost the game and you later check to see your mistake.
While trading too bitcoin, you could actually choose the wrong lot size if you don't check properly,  if the trade goes in your favour, that will be something good, but don't pray to be on the losing side of the trade with such kind of mistake, you can blow your account with such mistakes.

Yesterday must be your lucky day my friend, because not everybody makes such mistake and comes out victorious the way you just did, and I'm happy for you. However, I just checked the site, and could noticed you are an active gambler on "Lotto.com", and likewise also observed from previous betting history that the higher your betting olds, the more likely you are also to win a higher amount of money just like the $28 you just won, because if only you had continue betting with the least minimum amount, I don't if you would have won a reasonable amount. So once again, congratulations on your lucky winning.

It has happened to me with several games, and it is something you have to be careful with. There are casinos that preset a bet for certain games, sometimes they are $1, $2, etc. This varies, it is not all casinos since most have the good management of assigning the minimum bet.

With the slots it happens, depending on the game, this comes pre-configured with a bet of $0.5, $1 I have even seen them for $2.5 or more and I have been lucky enough that it happened to me for a round of 10 spins, That's where "bliss" is, yeah,that they were just a round of 10 spins , I would surely have lost more.

In sports betting it has happened to me with positive results, a sports betting house has the minimum bet at 0.01 mbtc, which is what I generally like to use, but for some reason I used 1 mbtc, it was a bet of 1.3x so it wasn't that bad.

It's something we have to deal with depending on the casino.

There was a user here a while ago who showed, if I remember correctly, a bet of 1btc, or something like that, and according to him he won by mistake, it was in the Dice game, he had the WC at 50%, the user was posting a couple of days and then it disappeared, truth or lie, it doesn't matter, it is something that is not that rare to happen, what does happen regardless of whether you win or lose leaves you with the experience of being more careful.

I had never experience making a mistake in the bet size and won.   IN a slots where the game sometimes timed out due to intermittent connection, I often refresh them and the bet size returns to its default bet size.  I sometimes forget to adjust the bet and put on auto spin.  I just noticed how fast my funds were drained so I stop the auto spin and checked that my bet amount is $1.50  and not $0.20.  It happens to me for several times and I never trigger the bonus round during those mistakes.

I believe, every gambler, especially veterans, has made a mistake in their betting session. I mean, like what happened in your case.  but not in the context of lottery gambling, as in your story that you shared in this thread. Not infrequently I often experience several mistakes in choosing my sports betting. whether it's because of my negligence, or the media where I gamble, for example a smartphone or whether it's a PC that's crashing. It could also be due to internet connection problems, but we have already chosen to bet. fatally, we make mistakes but it is too late to stop them. not all results have a detrimental impact, some of them even bring good luck.

Honestly, I've had experiences like this several times. from several incidents of errors. In choosing bets and even experiences in slot games, there are only a few moments that are the most memorable or can be remembered to this day. I once made the wrong choice of betting on the Underdog Lique 1 team, I forgot the opposing team. but due to the mistakes I made, my choice fell on Reims. Luckily for me, Reims won the match with high odds.

A mistake that can be more costly which I think should be avoided at all cost. Betting on a mistake can be more risky and you’re so lucky if you are able to get a win from that mistake but of course it will not always happen because that is a pure luck for me.

Do we also consider some actions we made as mistakes while in the real life they aren't, we cannot be accurate with everything we do while gambling, you could discover that we don't always win when we gambling despite that we have always wanted, those games played were done by our best efforts but yet we loose the bet because the way we planned it wasn't how the actual arrangements was, same also it may appear to us that some mistake are wrong whereas they may actually be the right decision which we don't know about.

Unfortunately, I have never made such a sweet mistake before and haven't been able to experience what this happiness is like. Definitely, I think you are very lucky to have made such a mistake because if there was no win, your balance for 7 games would have been exhausted and this would have caused you to blame yourself or feel bad. It isn't difficult to guess the happiness you experienced and how you felt after this win. I am happy for you. I hope that one day I can make such a sweet mistake and then be happy with the result I get.

I have done it before and some have turned me into profits while most of them have definitely gone wrong and all I’ve got are just pure losses. That’s why as much as possible, I have to check repeatedly my bet and its corresponding amount so I won’t be mistaken again. It’s luck when we commit mistakes and still end up winning, but most of the time its negligence that would lead us into losses when we bet and not even knowing about it.

Well, I have not made this mistake before, but some mistakes usually fall in someone's favor. Although this may not happen all the time, it was luck in your case, and it could have been anyone else. In gambling, since winning is never certain, sometimes the moment you decide to increase your stake, that's when the bet will cut, but staking a small amount may not burst the game and can not even bring a significant win. I know that even if I were the one to make such a mistake, it would not still work in my favor. I don't think I easily get lucky in anything.

So whats the concept or how to win up on Lotto on just choosing 2 numbers? Usually if we do speak or talk about lotto then it would really be on few number combinations on which it is really that something that a common requirement for you to win. experience wayback into those early years when im starting up on dealing with crypto is on which i had put up some max bet on 3x odds on slots on which on the time that i had pressed that roll button then
i have seen those base bet turned out to be max but luckily that roll end up on win and this is why it is really that something that pumps out my blood on extreme because it was my whole bankroll that had been set out
but i was lucky on having that win and bankroll had x3 which i had cashed out directly and never intend to play more and call it simply a day for me.

Not with this particular type of games but I have actually experienced this phenomenom before and it felt good because there is nothing like actually having a feeling of regretting then you found out that you won so it's just like the regret will eventually turn out to be sweetness. During my stake in some sports game I actually did some mistake once or twice that turn out  good especially during my stakes in live games because sometimes the moment I played the bet on a particular team that is winning and all of a sudden unknowning to me that the opposite team has already equalise the game and when I check the scores of the match the outcome is showing draw and the odd of the game will now be three times bigger than actually what I intended in playing but sometimes the team I predicted actually end up winning the game

I'm pretty careful with my presses and clicks when betting as it could affect the outcome of the game I play especially when I was still big on slots and all those time and event-sensitive games. Have not gone so far as to win from a mistake bet or whatever, but I have made a few fat-fingered bets and then lost because of it. I guess I'm just that unlucky but hey, when you bet almost everyday and you make gambling part of your lifestyle you're bound to get a couple of these flukes once in a while yeah?

Yes, it has already happened to me once or twice at dice game. I didn't pay attention to the bet size, and went further, only when I clicked the bet button I saw my mistake, but since that ended well for me, I just felt good for misclicking the bet size. It's really nice when it happens... It feels like it's your lucky day. The problem is when the gambler gets it too seriously, developing megalomaniac behavior and losing his money after all.

Congratulations on your unexpected win @OP. That is great luck that you can get from your mistakes. This is very rare for gamblers, including me, because not many can get lucky when they accidentally place the wrong bet value.

What I experience most often is that I place a bet with a value that is different from what I want to place. And the result was that I lost. It made me think why I didn't check everything first before betting. But never mind, it happened, and I lost. Perhaps next time, I can get a win.

I indeed did have such an experience. But not in gambling but in trading Bitcoin derivatives, lol. I did once mistakenly put in a very large number in for the leverage and almost lost everything. The liquidation was like half a % away from me losing all my money. But lucky for me, in almost the same minute, there was a sudden pump. I made some money and it made me happy. But I am aware that this was a lucky mistake and that most times it goes the other way. Should something like this happen again, I won't hesitate to cancel my order (or in the case of gambling, my bet).

I have experienced an incident like this but it was not me who did it but my pet placed the wrong bet in a roulette game which resulted in a win of around $90 with a total bet of $30 (as I remember) and I have told about this experience in the past in another thread.

even my bad experience of placing the wrong bet amount when playing a dice game with a low chance of winning lost my entire budget because I bet all in.

Quite a few times to be honest. I was playing BJ and i usually went with a few usd martingale style. (2-4-8) but the phone rang and instead of x2 i clicked max, needless to say that was a pretty nerve wrecking experiene, especially as it was like 3rd hand of the series after teh deposit.
The other time was with Dice, i set up an autoplay but forgot to set limits (i think it was on bitdice) clicked play and went to get coffee, when i came back the bet was at 500$ per wager lol, managed to click stop before it all went poof
