I haven't, no. I started buying around May 2014 but I've never paid over 700 USD for any part of a bitcoin. People who bought at 700 USD or higher don't need to worry though, this baby has a long way to go.

Patience will pay kindly.

Since I buying regularly once a month some fractions of Bitcoin with spare money, then yes I buying at today prices as well. I believe it is called cost averaging when you buy regularly, regardless of price. It works well over longer periods, because you buy regardless of price so you catch all the ups and downs in price and your average price you bought in is fair.

The Bitcoin is usefull regardless whether the price is over or under your treshold, its more psychoogical factor and because last month we had relatively stable Bitcoin price slightly under your treshold, these prices seems to become rather a norm.

I could have but I stopped myself. When bitcoin was rising beyond 700 USD, many traders were buying like goldrush. But I kept quite and stopped trading for few days. The security of my holding is the main priority to me. I am ready to earn little with low risk strategy. But I don't take high risk with my bitcoins.

I may end up loosing all.

No have have never bought Bitcoin for more then $500 but now with the Bitcoin price going up eventually you have no choice.
You will have to go out and buy for a higher price if you do not want to miss the boat.

I have never paid that much for Bitcoins because that is a pretty high price but if you want to keep moving with the Bitcoin I think that you will have to invest your money.
The price is going up so at one point you will no choice but to buy for such a high price.

The highest I ever paid was ~$510/BTC for about a third of a big one.
Bitcoin is supposed to be for everyone, not just the wealthy, so are you comfortable spending $50 (for example) for less than 0.1btc?

Have you ever paid more than $700/BTC for any amount of Bitcoin?
No, I have not. That's simply too much money for me.

If I won the lottery or something, maybe I will.

Just another man trying to find his way.
I have not. I prefer to buy on a dip or during a much more stable time. What goes up must come down, but what goes down is often oversold and then cheaper to get.

The highest I paid was around USD$1000... That was when I first started and used the very expensive "Virwox-Paypal" way of buying coins. Happy to I bought some when it was around $220. So my average/BTC is slightly lower than current price. Finally I am not in "Red" zone anymore.

Nope. The highest I ever paid for my coins was around $630 back in 2014. It was for 0.30 BTC. The price then kept going down and down, and I used that in my advantage to buy all the way down.

More redundant questions to fill the board with spam bots with paid signatures.

Is there really a previous thread, with a topic "above $700"?
Can you link to it please?

I didn't say there was another thread. I said it was a redundant question.

Like this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--1309254 - -  this is what I "meant" if you understand my message now...

Of course people are buying bitcoin over 700$. How do you think it got to over 700$? Magic?  It's a stupid question. To say the least it's redundant, as previously stated.

That lame thread has no comparison and you are way off base.
This is a discussion that could exist without sig pay, so go bitch somewhere else, OK?

I haven't bought any bitcoin at all, and since it is an pretty high amount, I'm going to avoid buying it since the bubble could pop, and I could lose a lot. If 700$ hold, I might invest more.

In trading I have definitely bought small amounts above $700. I also got caught up in the big run up a couple of years a go when the price when over $1000 and I bought a little then. That was a mistake, but the price will pass that again some day.

yes i buy bitcoin when the price is 720USD. I think that the future will be more like bitcoin than this. and sure enough, a few days later bitcoin increased significantly. Now bitcoin is in rates 760USD. I have a considerable advantage when selling it now. but I will last until halving later.
