I have only seen a winner in the American lottery but have not seen anyone won all the online lottery around as most of the promotions and announcements of winners may be based on false and in most cases doctored picture and videos. I can only believe in lottery when I can verify the prize winner with physical evidence.

To win in a lottery, you need to have a lot of luck and unfortunately i don't posses that luck. I have tried lotteries few times but did not got any luck and therefore i do not invest and play in lotteries anymore.
Lottery may change your fortune if you're lucky.

You just have to be careful most scam are always presented with genuine evidence and you might not know when you fall for it. For me I haven't won in a lottery game before I haven't been that lucky. Your image at op could be genuine but the fact remains you just have to be smart enough not to trust just anything you see online without thorough confirmation from the site

It's already a common response that if we received such notification about winnings, we will verify it. Our common sense will automatically work in action. I believed we are not in the generation today where people are easily blinded by those winning notifications. There are lots of ways now to determine if the winnings are genuine like what OP shared. It's a lucky hit that someone won a lottery on an exchange platform.
Maybe if the winner comes out, the casino will contact personally to that winner by email and the winners need to verify the email by visiting his account. Usually, if the prize is auto-added in the winner account, the winner can see his balance increase. So the winner can directly withdraw the winning money to the other wallet. Besides that, the casino will announce the winner on their front page to see who the winner is.

I just read this post about Pancakeswap lottery on Reddit there are some doubts about how this lottery is being run and the other of this post is right in his observation

Quote
To put this into perspective these grand prize winners are sometimes winning CAKE that is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, but there isn't even one guy who boasted about this online somewhere? Not one screenshot? Not one pic of a wallet balance with thousands of CAKE in it after winning?

PancakeSwap Lottery is EXTREMELY Suspicious

There's also a possibility that those guys who won prefer not to post for fear that people will ask for confirmation and transaction id because we are in Cryptocurrency which is centralized and anonymous, especially when we are dealing with a Decentralized exchange.

i never want to try the lottery on an exchange platform unless it's a real gambling site because I'm not sure if what they are doing is fair or not.  it's true what you said, now we have to be smarter, don't be easily influenced and deceived.

That's your choice if you finally choose not to trust the lottery on an exchange platform, because everyone does have one their respective considerations.
But in my opinion as long as the exchanges are not a problem as long as we use them for trading, and also the exchanges have a good reputation,
they should be fair when it comes to lottery. Because I have never won a lottery either on an exchange platform or on a gambling platform,  I will not
accuse there of cheating that occurs on the platform that I use. I better think positively that my luck hasn't come yet. But I agree that we must be smart
and careful in choosing platforms to play the lottery.

When you do deal with something then its just understandable that you would really be finding up ways for you to verify things up before you do deposit money for you to play on at least you could assure
that you would get paid in case you had hit the jackpot and well just like what others been saying that odds on winning or hitting lottery is small and thats what makes this game very boring.
Aside from low odds of winning then you would also need to wait up for long before you would able to know the results or outcome of the said draw.

BTW, have you been looking for information about this on several other leading websites?
Even sometimes several Jackpot winners are also announced in Gambling or Casino media.
In this case, there are many platforms that have given victory against their players related to lottery and other victories.
Try visiting various famous platforms at the Gambling Board. But I am personally not sure if the winners want to expose themselves to the public because many of them prefer anonymous

This should have been announced on social media because the official ones always get with it, but about my OP just now that there is a lottery on pancakeswap,, I just realized it now.

I've also never won a lottery like this, but I'm always investigating if there's something wrong, I'll also find out how to tell the difference, but I don't know about the OP's true origin.

Now we do have to be smart enough because fraud is smarter than us from any way including in the gambling lottery.

There's no need to be upset
<...>

you are right about online lotteries but if its one in the real world this is not always possible
but probably safety of those who win will vary a lot from country to country
still something important to pay attention to and be alert

^ There must be a reason why they don't disclose to anyone if they have won from the lottery online using crypto. It is very simple just because of the privacy and the reason they hide their identity. Even if you will win the jackpot in your local loterry, they will never disclose your identity or even mentioning your name not unless if you want exposure. The problem with the lottery is the chances of winning are very small then if you know how to verify the result of the crypto lottery, there could be a true winner.
It would be just dumb that you would really be making out some exposure after you have won some jackpot in lottery because this would for sure put you in danger because there would be lots who would go after you

since your identity had already been exposed thats why it is just too dumb for you to have this kind of decision and thats why it isnt surprising that there are lots of instances that winners could be known.

When it comes to fairness then we could somewhat able to verify things out but not all the time because there are instances where lotteries were rigged.

Bitcoin is GOD
Yes, I've played plenty of times.

There's quite a lot of platforms that offer this, honestly. I personally play the most of freebitco.in.

Not a big fan given that house edge has always been pretty high and the games are just way too slow for my liking.

Exactly. I don't see the point?

The problem with all of these lotteries is that they simply don't provide any thrill to gambling which makes them pretty mundane when it comes to entertainment value, and also they usually provide crappy RTP.

Each to their own I guess. Never played on any myself.
Probably, they are hoping for a bigger reward using their small money and in lottery you just have to be lucky to win the prize.

This is not exciting of course since its pure digital and you can't know the result right away compare to the slots games or other games. I haven't tried to play lottery in crypto exchange though I have bets before on crypto gambling site which offers the same thing, freebitco.in is my option as well.
Each person likes what they like, I will agree that lotteries do not seem like the most exciting game you can play with your money, but many people that like that kind of game are attracted by the huge wins they can accumulate if they are lucky enough to win.

In the rest of the games you can find in a casino the action is way more constant and the games more entertaining, but the potential profit you could have a chance of getting is very small and while that is fine for many gamblers this is probably a deal breaker for those that prefer lotteries.

I don't believe in all these screenshots there fakes and I trust more on videos, I have seen a good number of people who have won the lottery I have a friend who won 1 Bitcoin a couple of months ago.
I only think that capturing video is necessary when you're live streaming, vlogging, trying to prove something and etc, but if you just play for fun without having thoughts of posting it online then there's no way you can record those, so screenshot is enough to share the winning.

If your friend hold those 1 btc until now, s/he would be more happy seeing his winning accumulating more profits.

of course any image can be faked using photoshop but sometimes it's possible to verify lottery results on-chain
I usually prefer provably fair methods of doing giveaways, lotteries and stuff like that

It's weirder when people use those faked screenshots and send that to your Email in order to get you to play on a particular website.

I've seen similar photoshopped images on ads that randomly pop up when I surf some websites that embed these ads.

Cant really blame out this kind of view or impressions whenever you do have on lottery specially online but they are really verifiable specially if its a blockchain based or even showed up on real draws but
we cant really tell if those are legit bettors or just simply they are legit.I wont blame if people would really be having this kind of view but not really all would really be that shady though.
Im not really a fan playing lotter due to small chance of winning and also its result is way too long.

it's really hard to trust yobit with all this scammy emails and stories
they have promos all the time with something like: deposit now and earn 10% per week
like, who falls for that?

better to stay away

I found that line of your is funny but not in an offensive way  Grin

In past, i used to think the same that "who would fall for that"

But then I saw people falling for Ponzi schemes that offered around 1000% return on monthly basis and I couldn't believe it, If it was 100% then it's still believed able but over 1000%.

I also remember falling for a Ponzi scheme back in 2016, I was quite new at the time to all that but my loss was around 3 BTC investing in them, at the time it was around 800$.
