definitely have, who has never regretted selling Bitcoin at a cheap price if you look at the current price of Bitcoin. I even sold Bitcoin that I held for several years. sell when Bitcoin reaches the price of $30k before the final ATH is reached. That was a pretty high price in my opinion, but it actually jumped to $68,000. it makes me regret selling early. If I had just held it for a few months I could have gotten a high price. But now that's just a thing of the past, now just focus on collecting bitcoins and selling at the next new ATH.

I was one of the folks that sold too early before the 2021 bull run. I regret it but can I do anything with that? there's no rewind button for the mistakes that we made and that's why we just have to carry on and move on with that mistake along with the lessons that it has. I am sure that it's not only me that have done some early selling in the past for some certain things that we need. Although I can say that it was able to sustain my need for that sale, it's still a different feeling if I am still holding those BTCs that I've sold.

I'll just use the term BTC but it's not as whole as it was but it's a big amount already for me. So with everyone who's managing to hold it until now, don't be hasty and wait for the right time. But if some unforeseen things happen and you're required to do the sale, you'll have to do it no matter what especially if it's between life and death so you choose life and just restart somewhere else or if you're not required to sell everything that you have, that's what you can do and choose to decide.

We've all been there, that moment of realization when you remember selling your precious Bitcoins years ago and wonder if you missed the boat.  Well, take a deep breath, because im here to remind you that in the world of crypto, time is always on our side!

It might sting a bit to think about what could have been if you held onto those BTC, but let's not forget the golden rule of crypto: it's a marathon, not a sprint. The market is dynamic, and opportunities are ever-present.

Some of a time I'll remember my bitcoins and ask for my self what if I hold all my bitcoins maybe now I have a lot of money but I don't regret it cause I'll sell it by porpuse I'll use  it to buy some of my needs in my house like smart TV refrigerator and washing machine and many more. So in short selling Bitcoin is it's up to us if we gonna sell it because we are too scared of price but ik the future we will regret because the price is doubled or even trippled.  But if you sell your Bitcoin is porpuse then you will not regret it .

i have never regretted selling my bitcoin because i used the money not for something useless but for my various needs which were a priority compared to my investment. moreover, i didn't sell it all, only a few portions so it didn't have a significant impact on my investment portfolio, and if i wanted i could recover the amount when i get more money in the future, so it wasn't too much of a problem for me.
If you invest in bitcoins you have done a very smart thing. If you can keep bitcoins now for few years then you can get many times more profit after few years but you have to wait for long time. Investing bitcoins is very safe i  I think that's why I choose Bitcoin most of the time. You can never make a profit by investing in Bitcoin for a short period of time. So you have to try to hold Bitcoins for a long time.

I think every investor have feel regretted selling their bitcoin unknown to them that the market will increase which they felt so bad for missing the opportunity of gaining profit.  Normally investors usually sell their  bitcoin at of fear beginning of their bitcoin journey, when the market is still strange to them. And sometimes while some people sell their bitcoin is as a result of solving financial challenge and when they see how the price of bitcoin added value they regret the opportunity they miss.
If we really need it and don't have other funds for needs that we can't postpone, of course there's no harm in selling some of the Bitcoin we have in order to fulfill what we really need, because if we still choose to keep Bitcoin and don't fulfill what we need. we need it. I think this is very wrong because we have collected it so it is natural that we use it because we need it.
Yes, of course we won't sell everything we have, of course we will sell it according to what we need and will also reinvest when we have income to replace what we have sold.

Apart from that, the mistake I made in the past was that I used hot money to invest in bitcoin and as a result the money was forced to be used for necessities.
Therefore, cold hard cash is required to invest in bitcoin. So the risk of using this money will be very minimal. Because if you use hot money to invest in Bitcoin, the risk of these assets being disrupted will be very large. So in detail, this is what I learned from my experience selling bitcoin when the price was still not high (low).

Apart from that, coincidentally when I sold the bitcoin,  I made a small profit. So basically there is no reason for me to regret this. Because even though it's small, I make a profit.

That’s one area of we need to be aware of there is actually nothing someone can do when your dear needs coming knocking and the only funds you have to turn to is those invested into bitcoin that’s why we see many investors selling at a loss, not that they planned to do that but emergency arises. Personally I will advice any one who try to invest into bitcoin to use funds they are not going to need for at least a minimum of 6 months or year. That money shouldn’t even be part of your savings.

While investing into volatile assets like bitcoin it is even better to have an emergency investment aside bitcoin again, not that you will save all in bitcoin because you think you don’t need it but at least half should be invested into fiats so one can fall back to it at time of emergency. This buys more time for bitcoin before one runs out of option. Also it is very ideal to actually take profits as the market grows and diversify them into another asset too, this reduces unnecessary pressure on selling of bitcoin just any time
Very tough situation if you are really that having those kind of moment on where there's nowhere that you could really be able to run on which you would really be likely be that spending on the money
into those investments you do have. I've been into this situation on which i dont really have no choice but to deal up with that tough situation on which you do know that you do have the money that could be used
and there's no other way that you could get those fundings then it would really be that so hard that you would really be just ignoring even if you do know that you do have the money and we are talking
about our loved ones on here on which it is really just that normal that we would really be spending up for the sake of our loved ones and money would really be just second in priority.
This is why when it comes to regrets then i dont really tend to look back on what i have

Nice play! I like the way you are trying to rekindle hope in people, but do not also forget that some opportunities if lost can never ever be regained again. This is why we should do the needful at the right time and stop the mindset that there is still time, my friend, time is not waiting for anybody. Those who purchased Bitcoin in 2012, you can't ever compare them with those who purchased it this year, or do you think those who purchased it this year can still be able to actualise the potential of Bitcoin like those who purchased it in 2012? Never. Those who purchased it in 2012 have the better advantage and some might still be having a substantial amount of Bitcoin by now. While some had bought their dream car and house with it, or even started a flourishing business with it, or diversified their portfolio with some other assets and properties.

Do you think it will be easy now? Well, what I believe you should say is inform or encourage them that they should take heart and that they can still make money through it but it can't be much. This is emphatical enough as far as I am concerned. Except for those who are trading and good at it. The amount to be made through Bitcoin can't be as much as before whether we like it or not, that is the missed part and the most painful part at the same time. But as it is, let us continue to enjoy the little opportunity we can make from it while it lasts, after all, it is better to gain little than not to gain anything at all.

One thing i will say is there will always be regrets in this crypto space because of the volatility attached to it. You might be regretting why you sold early because the price went up significantly above where you sold or you might be regretting another time why you didn’t sale because the price started dumping, these two are part of the space. But the best regret is always that doesn’t make you to be in loss that’s selling with a profit. How do one over come this i will say don’t fix a time to take profit rather fix a price to take profit.

If a coin gets to a price where you can take 75% holdings including some profit and maybe the invested amount too then take them. Don’t sometimes be too greedy for a high pump that you leave your coins most especially if it is Altcoins. Although the most important thing is to invest in what you can afford to lose so that there won’t be any regrets regardless of the decision made. Hodl bitcoin for long, take profit when necessary and you wouldn’t be in regret

i have a great regret of selling my bitcoins years back when i build my physical business i sell my bit coins and invest in a restaurant.

but I think if we sell bitcoin to solve a more important job, there is nothing to regret. You should think more positively that if you don't have that bitcoin, where will you get the money to solve that emergency situation? So I think you should look on the bright side and not regret cutting your bitcoin losses.

I indeed sold my Bitcoins because there was something more important. But I could have managed that money in another way if I wanted. But I didn't care too much about it and thought Bitcoin wouldn't recover anytime soon. But, I didn't think that I would be selling it at a huge loss. This is the main reason I am saying that I regret selling that. There was a time when I was gambling as well and losing my bitcoin again and again and wanted a permanent solution. I wanted to lock my bitcoin for a certain period of time and found an article online that has a tutorial on how to lock my bitcoin using coinb.in. I remember that o_e_l_e_o helped me a lot in a thread regarding how should I do that. Off-topic but Leo is too ill for now and he may leave us anytime soon.

op It is normal for those of us who work in crypto currency to have such regrets because when we trade in crypto currency many times we see and maybe hold for a while and get a good profit but we sell before then so many regret. But we can't hold on to crypto currency for life, at some point we have to let it go, so there's no point in regretting it. Many times we sell them for the sake of our family, but we still feel regret.

The market is always there, opportunities are always there, the important thing is whether we know how to grasp them or not or just sit and regret what has passed.

This is something that many people don't realize so they just complain and regret about the past. Like you, I think that as long as the market exists, the volatility of bitcoin is there, there will always be a way for us to make a profit. Making profits in the financial market is based on knowledge, experience, skills... and not just on the fact that you have the opportunity to buy early although buying early will have more benefits.
I also feel a bit regretful if the price continues to increase after I sell, but instead of wallowing in regret, I come up with a new plan to make more profits because I know opportunities will always be there and the work we are to grasp it.
We often experience that after selling, the price actually goes up, but I neutralize the psychology by remembering that I have already pocketed the profits from the sale, and if we always remember that it will actually arouse our greed. Therefore, it seems as if everyone experiences it and we must be able to respond to it for our future progress, so that we can always maintain our psychological stability.

Re: Have you ever regretted selling your bitcoins ?
No, I have never regretted selling my bitcoins. Because I sell bitcoins for the needs I have. So why should you regret it if the purpose of selling bitcoin is to use it for positive things. Maybe if the context you mean leads to regret, "why didn't hold bitcoin until now (the price was higher)". If you mean it in that context, I wouldn't call it regret, but just a lesson. Because regret will be useless when you are already in that position. It's better to start again and avoid all the mistakes that have been made before (return to investing in bitcoin)

Apart from that, the mistake I made in the past was that I used hot money to invest in bitcoin and as a result the money was forced to be used for necessities.

There will always be a feeling of regret, just with Bitcoin, but also with other investments. Sometimes even though we have made a lot of profit from our Bitcoin investment when we sell it, we still feel regretful afterward if the price continues to go up. I think this is a bad mentality that we should get rid of. Many people think that we will not have the opportunity to buy cheap Bitcoin anymore. I think it's true but it doesn't matter to me if we have a good investment strategy, no matter how high the Bitcoin price is, we can still make a profit from it.
My goal is how much profit is the end result, not necessarily how much Bitcoin is stored in the wallet. The market is always there, opportunities are always there, the important thing is whether we know how to grasp them or not or just sit and regret what has passed.

I did sell most of my bitcoins too early, I have to admit that. But it could hardly have been different. It was a different time and we didn't know much about the market. We can say that with our trades and unsuccessful deals we paid for our training, our experience in the cryptocurrency market. You know, experience is the most expensive thing in the world. It is much more valuable than any assets you have. Now I think that significant funds cannot stay in the hands of a person who does not have experience and, first of all, the experience of losses from which he has learned the correct knowledge.

No no not at all, since I bought bitcoin at 36000 and sold bitcoin at 47000 in this case I got a profit of good amount due to which I don't regret selling my bitcoin. I am waiting for the opportunity again when the market goes down further I will buy back bitcoins with the capital left over from my profit and wait for a good bullrun. Of course, in this case, you have to wait for the good time and if you use the good time properly, there is definitely a good chance of a profit. But for now, it looks like the best time to buy Bitcoin.

I haven’t ever regretted selling my Bitcoin because if I sold my Bitcoin for whatever the price be, I must have needed it to do so. Aside a really pressing need that I have to fall for, I do not rush when it comes to Bitcoin as I have come to understand that it has not even gone up to half of what it will. Of course it could hurt a little if you sold it out when it was worth a lot less, but it also depends on what needs it solved for you at the time.
