Free spins suck balls most of the time. You have to get lucky as hell and land a bonus game for any shot at money and even then it's not gonna be thousands of dollars. A bonus game is usually going to pay 20-50x the bet and sometimes you'll get a 100x-1000x but very rare. Sites give free spins to hundreds, possibly thousands of players, so they're not going to make everyone an instant huge winner, that would just be site suicide so to speak. Most are going to win $1-3. It's just a little weekly bonus that some sites offer.

Nope. The max I acquired through freespins was around 5 bucks or something which I lost playing some other game to try and increase it. Freespins are almost always useless if you are looking to win something significant.

They are just meant for testing purposes basically. Someone out there might have got insanely lucky and wonderful life-changing amounts through them, but such tales are 1 in a million.

Same here.
It basically goes like this:
Every time I get to play for free as a test, with no money, I win some virtual cash.
Every time I get free spins where I'm allowed to withdraw my win, I get almost exactly 50% win or less, eventually either having a very low balance, or going to 0.
Every time I play for real it's usually 60% loss ratio, so the only way I manage to win is bet a lot, basically going all in with the money I have.

So, the answer is no.

First, I did like to apologize in advance if something like this have been discussed previously and recently, I obviously took no notice of it and why I decided to make this thread. And also, the thread is based on my own personal experiences.
Yes we have discussed something like this in the past and I posted that livecasino has given me free spins that I have won over $200 before. I think we discussed about this in early this year.
When he say that he didn't noticed it, then that can mean that there are really threads like this in the past but it's still best to conduct a research only to be more sure. Anyways, he still clear it out that this thread is based on his own experience, so we might still expect some new stuffs here or differences from those previous threads that we have.

Your experience about this free spins are so legendary man but I think you also took a lot of risk with it, I mean right after you won some amounts in the original free spins given to you by the casino, you continued playing using it. It can be on other games this time. Usually people can multiply it more in games like Blackjack, Baccarat, and Roulette. Guess because of their low edge, or the winning chance on them are much better than the slots games.

The free spins were from the $20 I deposited on coins.game. They have this promo every week where, once you deposit they give you free spins without any wagering requirements. They gave me 12 free spin worth 1 usd per spin for my current VIP level and I won 200 usd something. But right now, I don't recommend playing at that casino because of my experience.
I do not quite understand what you mean. You were given 12 free spins that each free spin is worth $1 and you won $200. And you later included that the gambling site is not recommended because of your experience. What is your experience with the gambling site? Never mind me, I just which to know in case.

If you've been playing these games for a while and you know how casino games work, then you shouldn't be surprised that you haven't won any significant winnings in something that is still a little more than just luck. I have always understood gambling as a type of entertainment that should be kept under control and without any expectations that you will earn some big money.

Of course, from time to time it happens that someone wins a larger amount, but that does not mean that you or anyone else should expect that he will be the lucky one. After all, if you get something completely free, then you should be happy with any profit that comes from it, right?
Yes, if its your first time or something that you havent been able to experience before then you would really be coming up with these type of questions on which asking about whether someone becomes profitable with this or be able to cash out or not, but just like on what you have said that if you are someone who have been long time dealing up with gambling and other things attached into it like these bonuses and other promotions then you would really be definitely be able to tell and would be making up conclusions that this isnt something that will really be interesting or something that could be that good to consider out due to very hard wagering requirement.
On the moment that you would really be able to experience with these free spins with having that usual 40-50x wagering requirement then  you would definitely lose hope.

On all of the years that i've been playing and able to deal up with some free spins, i havent been able to make myself that be able to cash out or able to hit up that withdrawal threshold.
This is why whenever i do see some promotions or bonuses then i do simply skip out and have lost that interest on doing so.

Unfortunately, never anything great. Sometimes you could get the impression that the chance of winning from free spins was much smaller than from a deposit. Maybe it's just my feeling and in practice the chance was the same, but after playing a lot of free spins I didn't win anything (usually they were really pennies).

Yeah! I will never forget that because it ended up miserably. I couldn't withdraw, so I continued gambling and ended up losing all my winnings from the free spin. But then why do they market themselves as probably fair games? If the house is kept as top priority in casino games, then it is not completely fair for the gamblers. Nevertheless, it’s a discussion about another topic,
Yes, it's a discussion for another topic, but let me just point out that provably fair functions with the house edge in place.

A casino being probably fair roughly means that the casino cannot change the permutations once the serverseed is set, but they can still and do put the odds in their favour for virtual games.

I don't think anyone has won big with free spin? That what the Op is trying to know from other gamblers that have used free spin. And frankly speaking what the Op experienced, I have also experienced it. I have not won big amount with free spin. And the highest amount I have won with free spin is $5. Though people have won big amount with deposited amount and I have heard and seen and I have also won up to $400 but not in free spin. And I also agree with the Op that casinos program free spin slot games for gamblers not to win big. And I see free spin games as give and take. They give the gambler free games to have fun but the gambler can't win good amount from it.

I was obviously disappointed, and I kept asking myself, is it that those guys have programmed the system not to allow players win any good amount of money any time they play slot with free spins given to then by the casino?
And to confirm if this thought is true, I will like to have other gamblers share their own experiences too, maybe I am right, or not, let know what you think.

This is not true and does not applies in the real life, first thing is for you to understand the fact that we cannot win over the house edge, secondly, I've also seen some gamblers given bonuses on free spin and they uses such to gamble and win more to it and they withdraw all their money together with the profits, lastly, maybe we can just remember this that in gambling, we often looses than we win, this alone applies in most situations we see, there is high tendencies for loosing than winning each time we are gambling.

Not just free spins, most casinos are programmed to favour the house.

I also feel the same. But then why do they market themselves as probably fair games? If the house is kept as top priority in casino games, then it is not completely fair for the gamblers. Nevertheless, it’s a discussion about another topic, I must say. If you ask me regarding free spins, then I always have bad luck on this. Moreover, I have also heard that many casinos don’t allow withdrawals made through these free spins. So I treat these free spins as the funds to test the platform. That’s all I do with the free spins.

I have been given free spins in different sites sometimes due to my inactivity there while other times was because of me ranking up to a vip level but in all of them I have only been able to win an amount I would call significant in one.

I have been able to win approximately $22 in a site through their free spins and it was the most recent spin I got - it was from anonbet during the period they came to Bitcointalk - they gave out free 20 spins for new players to check out their sites and any amount win could be withdrawn from it and I managed to win $22 with the spins and I successfully withdrew it to my personal wallet.

Aside from that, the rest I have won are little to nothing - ranging from $0.1 - $0.8.

I have always assumed that these free spins were rigged. Of course because it’s “free”, you have higher hopes every time.

The thing is they usually lure you in. Let’s say you get 10 spins, in the first 2 spins you’ll get some significant amount which will make you want to keep trying and eventually finish out all your spins. Until you reach to the 10th spin and you did not get any in the end.

No I have never gotten anything of relevance with these. Even if I get something, it’s not usually the biggest prize. I don’t know if I am just unlucky or what.

OK, like I did mentioned on my post, I must have missed the thread, apologies.
But on the other hand, yours was based on your experience, and this is based on my own experience as stated, so, I guess this sets your thread apart from mine 😁.
Anyways, thanks very much for pointing this out to me.

I do not think so. Sometimes you can be lucky but not all the time.

Well, if I've ever been lucky with free spins, then I guess I did be so stupid to even be complaining, because as an experienced gambler, I need not be told that losing in gambling most of the time is just a normal thing.

But then, the reason for my disappointment, like I touched on in the op, is that, I've ever made any significant gains out of free spins, even with a 100 free spin way back last year from one of the casinos I played on, I still ended up with a total win of less than $5, seemingly to me like that was programmed.

And again, why do they have to choose games where we must play the free spin on, if they have not programmed that we must not win above a certain amount?

Not just free spins, most casinos are programmed to favour the house. In a run of games the house will make a profit more times than not. If you had paid for the spins the outcome could have been the same or worse, you win less than you got the total spins for, there's also the chance you win big; as it's a game of luck.

I have not won significantly from free spins, but I've won a bet which I staked with an amount won by performing small tasks on the casino. I remember withdrawing the bulk of the bonus and risking $5 on crash, hitting $80 or so.

this would basically mean that the casino is cheating if it is true which would threaten their reputation, license and their business if found out, so I doubt they would do this. I've had my fair share of free spins and have not won anything significant and I never expected to win anything significant when it comes to free spins. regarding winning significant amount from free spins, I am not sure if it is a significant amount but I remember @notblox1 winning around $66 dollars from free spins, though there was an issue encountered when he was trying to withdraw, in the end, he was able to get his winnings from the casino.

Hi gamblers, i did like to first say that I have gotten free spins from different casinos In time past, and they all gave me this very same result, but to cut the whole thing short, i will use my last two experiences for references.

I usually play very often on a telegram casino known as Whale 🐳, and the first time I join the casino, they gave me 50 free spins after reaching a certain level in their casino, I played the free spins on the casino game they tied to it, I was expecting to make good winning, but alas, at the end of it all, what I managed to win was just a little above $3.

And recently, about 4 or 5 days ago, they gave me another 20 free spins to be played on gates of Olympus, again, I was expecting that I did be very lucky to win a really handsome amount of money since gates of Olympus is a very popular slot game, and possibly with better house edge or something, but alas, after spending the whole 20 free spins, what I managed to make was just around $2.01.

I was obviously disappointed, and I kept asking myself, is it that those guys have programmed the system not to allow players win any good amount of money any time they play slot with free spins given to then by the casino?

It was something like $70, so i don't know if you can call that significant. But it came with free promotional small $5 joining gift or something. Wven though i had to deposit some before i could withdraw the win.

Normally depositing anything for something like that is a red flag and sign of scam, but for some reason i found them trustworthy enough for $20 deposit. I played required amount for withdrawal and got my almost whole $20 and $70 out.

I don't think i would have deposited that on most casinos, but they seemed to have everything ok, and casino didn't seem like a copy of a hundred other casinos, and it was fast, good looking and ToS was in order.

I feel like i betrayed them for leaving after that and never looking back, and i can't even remember the name of the casino.

It happens like that at times. The last free spin I used on Livecasino got me less than $1.5 or less than $2. But I have won big before very well countless number of times. But sometimes the money won can be very small.
