Yeah, that thought eats at me when I think about it, thank you. It was circa 2015, and what I lost was worth around 500 dollars back then


In the PD signature campaign we were paid 0.4 BTC monthly in late 2013 and early 2014. So it was like 4 months of posting. On the other hand, just selling anything below 1k turned out to be a disaster and waste of capital (unless you managed to buy back at lower or even somewhat higher prices)


What makes you think that casinos are looking for addictive gamblers, which is what you seem to imply? But really? Casinos are interested in a steady cash flow and deep pockets (aka cash cows), but gambling addicts are neither here nor there since they can lose only so much, apart from them being bad for karma as well as being the cause for a host of legal issues that they can inflict once they start to wreak havoc upon themselves and their families

Simply put, gambling addiction is as bad for a reputable casino as it is for its players (read, play responsibly)

No, I am a gambler even though I only play at certain moments. Gambling to maintain position when joining a gambling campaign, I think that is your choice and I am sure you can still join this campaign even though you are not an active gambler now. You dont have to always bet to be able to join a gambling site signature campaign, but at least you are a person who understands gambling and the quality of posts will also determine how a manager chooses you as a participant in the campaign.

Strange, but thats the fact. The fear of being addicted to gambling is only felt by those who are just trying to gamble. An active gambler can bet almost every day without thinking about addiction. IMO

I know every one did not see bitcoin reaching $20K in price that year, 2016 to 2017 but you can see the price change at that time significantly, the bitcoin valued a thousand by 2016 but no one expected what happened after 11 months. 1.5 BTC lost in gambling is just a small amount for you, but look at it now, I bet you are regretting it by now lol.

No, I didn't start gambling due to campaigns. When I first started gambling, I started playing for fun, although the main purpose was to make money. After that, I had a nice win several times and then my gambling addiction started. Speaking for today, I got rid of that addiction and am only gambling with low budget for entertainment purposes. I continue to play not only to be accepted into campaigns, but also for fun. I think that I will not gamble specifically to participate in the campaigns, but unfortunately it is very difficult to say something precise since I am a gambling addict. Nevertheless, I think that I will not be addicted again, I will continue to gamble for entertainment purposes, not necessity.

I also noticed this and keep asking myself:

someone is promoting a gambling site, every day post with a signature of gambling site, but that same person is constantly talking about gambling addiction. so I think, when this person promoting a gambling site is constantly talking about gambling addiction, will he be promoting the gambling site that is on his signature or scaring potential customers who might use the gambling site? I keep asking myself this constantly


unfortunately lately no have signature campaigns of exchanges and many mixers

No, not at all. I love to share my thoughts here since I like to post in a psychological way of giving my opinion to those who needed it. Mostly of the post here is about gambling addiction, gambling tips, etc...

Maybe it's just a coincidence or not because most of the big campaigns is about gambling, I don't know if you noticed that already but it is, and being a gambling poster is a great advantage whenever there is a campaign who prioritizing those who post in gambling section, well of course they have to be a good poster, and has merits also.

That was a huge amount if you lose it today, what was the value that time if you still remember?

Me, I am here in 2016 so I am a bit late already, but I still enjoy the bull run in 2017 and that is good enough.
I've been gambling in differnet gambling sites and never stayed in one site only, dice, roulette, sports betting and ect.. those are my games which makes me more interested in staying in the forum.

good thing is there is a signature campaign that let's you earn, so you will not worry anymore on where to get your bankroll in gambling.

Well, it was a little different with me. It is not like I started to gamble because I wanted to participate in a gambling signature campaign but rather I took to gambling specifically because I had enrolled in such a campaign. It was probably the first ever signature campaign on the forum back in 2013 (correct me if I'm wrong on this), and it turned out to be the PrimeDice signature campaign, one of the first Bitcoin casinos out there. So I thought why not try it out with the free coins that I received via that campaign

And then I ended up losing ~1.5 BTC

Indeed, it will provide a lot of input from diverse experiences for anyone who needs it, and although there are many types of gambling, it will basically be the same and there is no much different basis in gambling. Besides that, doing real gambling is something good for your insight in gambling can be increased, because I can't imagine in a gambling campaign if they don't really gamble can last long in this circle.

The good thing when you already involved with gambling you can easily hang on with people who are discussing about their experiences, if you have same interest or if you gave same hobbies you can easily involve yourself inside the discussions.
There's are people who are also doing the same strategy that you have or you can learn more and enhance your style of gambling.

I'm one of the guy I have sign up to a site that offer a bonus or credits so you can, after getting the hang of it I soon find out that there are a lot of gambling campaign that you can participate, if you are active in the gambling discussion, and lucky to get on the Bitvest list, it's fun and rewarding I hope Bitvest campaign will stay for more years.  

It's just that we have a lot of different interests and there are many kinds of gambling so it's never the same. But the beauty of it is that we are able to share our own opinions based on our own experiences. But just can't determine which one is true.

Being a gambling board poster, I can only see few people who shared the same interest of mine, majority of the people are just discussing a general topic but not on a specific games or events since they don't really gamble.

in my case it was the following, i participated in signature campaigns that were not related to gamble, until one day had an open slot in the signature campaign related to gamble, so I was accepted into the gamble-related signature campaign, when I started to post in that section I realized that I could try playing gambling. so I started doing research on gambling and realized that I could place sports bets because I like soccer, basketball, car racing and other sports. it was then that I created an account on a sports betting website and started making sports betting, I lost more than 10 times and then I started to win to the point of getting my 3X profit and I withdraw. and after that I continued in the world of sports betting until today


I am someone who loves soccer games and I bet on soccer games, but I must say that I am very suspicious that most people who participate in signature campaigns related to gambling make a bet, maybe I am wrong


It is because of this that the signature campaigns related to gambling do not last more than 1 month. I'll say what I think:

if you have 20 people participating in a signature campaign and these 20 people play gamble then you have a better chance of these 20 people use the site they are promoting and they can also bring their friends to play on the site they are promoting. But, if the 20 participants don't play, then the gambling site will be losing 20 potential customers and their friends


what is needed is that people use the sites that are here in the forum, do not limit yourself to post in that section, we have to use those sites that are in that section so that they do not bankrupt

I do gamble even if i am in a gambling campaign or not. There are many people who are in the gambling campaigns but they never gamble. You need to have some knowledge of gambling to be able to discuss about the gambling but even if you do not play in real, no one will ask for it. Its your personal matter whether you want to gamble or not.

I am already a gambler and had been addicted to gambling ever since before I knew about the forum and all sorts of related to online gambling. It doesn't seem a necessity to join a gambling campaign due to your motivation on gambling and also not all gamblers prefer promoting gambling campaigns to keep their focus on a single topic and aspect they want. Also, there are a lot of users whom preferred promoting not because of their likes in life, but because of what the campaign is about.

Exactly, how can someone participate in a gambling discussion and promote a gambling related signature if you are not familiar with it? Personally, I have been into gambling way before I found crypto and this forum.


Still up to the campaign managers though. Anyhow, we are at an advantage if we frequented gambling related thread and have discussions with gamblers around. And we can truly see those posters who have gambling related signature posting in this board that have the experience. The post has substance or at least as fellow gamblers you grasp their knowledge.

Oh! finally you've said it. This is what I've been thinking too. Well, its good they wanted to be a good poster first before joining a campaign. However, I think there would only be few people who would start gambling first just to be accepted in a campaign. I hope they're not spending too much just to be in campaign, LOL.  I think a lot would try to join the campaign first then learn gambling later because of the discussions here.

And just like what you've said, I also agree not all who are part of a certain campaign really contributes well in the gambling section.

I don't think so. Most signatures campaigns don't state that only for a real gambler to be eligible as a participant. What you need is you have a good understanding or knowledge related to gambling, then you can be active to discuss gambling discussion. As long as the rules are still the same, being a real gambler doesn't improve your chance to be selected. But yes, being a real gambler makes you easier to understand various topics related to gambling since you experienced it yourself.

Some campaign managers does not look at this factors, some will just hire and let you do the requirement, and some campaign managers who manages gambling signature campaign even are not gamblers at all. So it depends on the campaign manager but as a participant we got the advantage here since we don't need to think long enough before making a post since we can easily relate with the topic and the conversation, we are in our field in short.
