Have you successfully influenced someone to invest in bitcoin ?  What was the final result, did they thank you later for this ?
Of course I have encouraged a few people to invest in Bitcoin including a large number of my close relatives. My sister's husband was advised by me to invest in bitcoins and he invested and held $2000 in bitcoins as advised. But I requested him to know the cautionary risks well before investing.

I have not personally encouraged anyone to invest in Bitcoin but I have always suggested to them that investing in Bitcoin is inherently risky and if you want to invest alone then do your research first and then plan your investment. If someone invests as I say and faces loss instead of profit, he will of course give me a plain for this loss which seems unbearable to me, so I do not suggest or motivate anyone in this matter for now.

It is wrong to influence someone to Buy Bitcoin out of his own will. It is not like preaching the gospel or something that one must compulsory do. Bitcoin is a matter of choice and preparation. Yeah, we can share the good news with people around us or speak about the ideas and knowledge we have gained ever since we started our journey. That's cool because you are trying to share you experience which may make someone convinced to ask you how to get started without you talking about investment to them literally.

Don't forget that if you influence someone to join you in Bitcoin investment you have to be prepared to guide the person at all times because if anything goes wrong in the investment they will blame you for everything. You cannot convince someone who is not financially strong to invest, if you do the person will blame you for making him suffer whenever there is a loss or unsuccessful investment.

Recently uncle sent me an invitation on telegram to join Hamster tapping game. First I got confused and thought that this is scam or he clicked somewhere and now is hacked. Later he called me asked to join under his ref. link. He told me that this game is a better way to spend time, than solving crosswords (he is already retired). He though it was just a game, that promises to give "some crypto later". I have explained him some basics and gave few link to read about crypto. I cant say that I have influenced him to invest (I have warned him about risks), but I better call it that I have introduced him to a more wider world of crypto.
Not really that shocking that hamster combat did really make that hype on which even into my local country page did really flood out tons of post not only just that limited to hamster but also in other tapping games.
Same as on the situation you have pointed out on which my niece asked me about the game and currently now tapping up some games but didnt know about what crypto is all about. This is why i did make out
some simple explanation that she could be able to understand at least and later on did really make out some more questions on which i had explained everything that i could but of course just
like on what you have said that explaining up the risks included into it would really be that recommended or something that you must not forget.

I would really be just that interested on making up some explaination to close friends or loved ones or relatives but of course you shouldnt really be giving out any guarantees
that they could make money so that you wont really be getting  blamed in the end.

I most definitely did and there were some happy faces primarily thanks to altcoins though(Not BTC) sometime back in 2017. Personally, I earned a lot more profit from BTC when compared to altcoins, but it was the reverse for them.

The 2017 ICO gold rush helped me and them earn decent chunks of cash. It's a lot easier these days to convince people to look into BTC and other popular cryptocurrencies for obvious reasons.

No.  All Crypto, including BTC, is highly speculative.  I would never recommend anything this volatile to anyone as an investment.
Buy you are yourself involved with it. What about sharing own experience with others and then letting them choose their action with crypto based on their judgment.
I think he was afraid of the risks, namely that people would blame him when it didn't turn out the way they expected. So far, I have never directly invited someone to invest in crypto, but I have only explained the advantages and disadvantages they can get. I also emphasize that they do independent research so that they understand how this investment works, so that they are ready to bear the respective risks.

Some members of my family never believed in Bitcoin, they didnt understand what volatility means since they've didn't make proper research about Bitcoin to know it's concepts, therefore they feel they don't see any need to invest in something that would drop in price and make them lose their money, I tried severally to convince them but it was a wasted effort.

Well, during the 3rd quater of last year I tried convincing my younger cousin but he refused to give me listening ears, saying Bitcoin is a scam and he'll rather stake his money in bet9ja (a betting company in my country) I was so amazed by his reply and didn't bother to convince him anymore, since he was giving deaf ears to my advice concerning  Bitcoin.

After some months he gambled with his school fees, lost part of it and asked me to loan him some money, I was so disappointed when I discovered why he needed the loan but didn't hesitate to loan him since it involves his fees, he was very suprised and asked how I was able to loan him about a 100k in my local currency without hesitation and my reply was Bitcoin of course, to cut long story short that was how I convinced him to learn about Bitcoin, he later bought and I believe he'll be holding currently.

Telling someone about Bitcoin takes a long time because there is so much to learn.  So if someone makes a wrong decision and does something wrong, they can blame me for it, so I'm also very afraid to influence anyone about Bitcoin.  However, if someone asks me something out of interest, I try to teach them with my best.  But I tried to convince my family members about Bitcoin but they are old age people so I couldn't convince them much.
If someone or your friend has an interest, of course he or she has studied well what you taught them before. Giving this person an understanding is much easier to teach than someone who hasn't studied or understands what Bitcoin is. Usually people who have this interest are ready to lose if something happens to their finances or assets. And in this case, if something happens to your assets, they are not entirely to blame. To convince elderly people, I don't think they will believe that their era is certainly different from our current era.

Educating someone who has plans to invest in Bitcoin is indeed very good, but they must first have the desire to learn it well because if they don't have the desire to learn, of course we will teach them in vain and this will be a waste of our time. have, but if they have the desire to learn then we must be able to teach them in detail about investment so that they don't make mistakes that can cause them losses on the investment they will carry out and it would be better for them to be able to make their own choices after we explain about the investment and never force them to do things they don't want to do.

Yes, I believe that the request should come from the student, not the teacher. Otherwise, it will be implanting knowledge that there is no desire to receive. Such training is doomed to failure; the teacher will only earn a negative attitude towards himself. There is no effectiveness at all. It's another matter when someone shows interest and asks to be taught. Then you can really achieve success.

if you're thinking about helping a friend or family member get into Bitcoin, educate them. Make sure they know it well. Bitcoin has both up and down potential. Folks, this is a little rollercoaster. The possible benefits are huge, though, provided you do your homework, are familiar with the technology, and are aware of the dangers.

Dont be a salesman. Never press them into anything they're not comfortable with. Let them make that choice. You must keep their trust, that is the most significant. Tell them straight out about the benefits and risks involved. Thats how you build strong relationships, whether the investment goes up or down. Remember, folks, its not just about the money. This is all about connections, trust, and doing the right thing.

Influencing other people to invest in Bitcoin?

As far as I've been in the crypto world, I don't think I've ever influenced anyone, especially directly, to invest in Bitcoin. Unless in this forum there are people who ask what coins they invest in. So I will answer Bitcoin.

But if there were no questions like that, I would be better off keeping quiet. Especially if it is in real life, never once have I ever advised someone to invest in Bitcoin. That's too risky for me personally, especially if he's very new and doesn't understand Bitcoin or crypto in general.

In fact, several friends who know that I work and have Bitcoin investments, even when they ask to be invited to invest in Bitcoin, what I do is give them an understanding first, learn first about Bitcoin risks and so on. So when he decided to invest in Bitcoin, he was aware of it himself, not because of my will. And that's something he should understand first.

Just share the receipts and paycheck to them lol. Seriously though, i don't usually tell people that invest to this and that, although i always give them hints, and tell the good and bad sides of crypto, investing something to it will depend on him/her not mine since its their money and its their decision, giving them knowledge is enough.

I've not influenced anyone yet to invest in Bitcoin,I can only enlighten someone about Bitcoin and if the person has an interest to invest then it's left for the person to decide. There are people that influenced their friends, relatives and colleagues with the favourable season of the market and when they dive into investing and suddenly the price of Bitcoin declines just because they weren't told the whole blame goes back to the person that influenced them to invest in Bitcoin. If I would want to influence someone to invest in Bitcoin I'm definitely gonna tell the person the ups and downs of the market with that even though there is a decline in price I wouldn't be blamed because I told the person everything he/she ought to had known before investing.

Yep mate!
Probably the right thing to do, I would also avoid getting into such things knowing that I could be blamed if things go south and I wouldn't want that. Let people find such things themselves and then if they ask you, you can tell them you know about it and give them any knowledge you have but only as a person providing some knowledge and nothing else. If you suggest investments, make sure you tell them to do their research before they get into it and that you wouldn't be responsible if things don't work out for them.

I have had a lot of experiences in life regarding the same thing. Someone would ask you to do something for them, it could be anything, buying something, suggesting a place, or anything in general, and if they face a problem after listening to you, they are going to blame you because they believe they did it because of your suggestion.

Yeah, I got a buddy into Bitcoin a while back. At first, he was skeptical, but after some chats and showing him how it works, he took the plunge. He hasn't stopped thanking me since

I have introduced some people to Bitcoin. Some of them invested, and others did not. Those who invested really appreciate it, despite they have not being in a reasonable amount of profit from their Bitcoin investment currently, because they didn't invested a reasonable amount initially are now regretting their decision due to fear, but now they want to invest more because they believe in Bitcoin to the proper knowledge now. The few who did invest always appreciate me whenever we meet. The surprising thing is that even those close to me who were introduced to Bitcoin have also introduced Bitcoin to others. Everyone who knows about Bitcoin through them still shows some respect because those I introduced to Bitcoin tell them about me.but the truth is that I don't convince anyone to invested in bitcoin but they should invest base on their knowledge and believe.

I have some friends who learn about bitcoin on they own but there after came to me to enlighten them more about the security and risk in holding bitcoin as an investment, some of those my friends have done more investment than me to because some of them have been able to hold more coin than me, so for sure I have been able to indirectly influence him to bitcoin.

I have not introduce anyone to this forum, as a guide to bitcoin investment, but I have referred one or two people some helpful site to bitcoin education.

I have influenced many people to invest in bitcoin and the final result was great and I also received gift from them. Though it is not easy to convince people to invest in Bitcoin because of the internet frauds that have been going on and still happening. And in most time when sell Bitcoin in their front then they can be convinced that bitcoin is real. And another consideration they have is the government policies, most educated citizens will not like to disobey government policies because they don't want police to chase them because of bitcoin so they are afraid to join but you encouraged them with p2p transactions.

Underestimate- nothing

I have benefited from Bitcoin and people around me that have spoken with me about how they will also want to invest in Bitcoin and if you tell them the steps they are to take majority of them will give excuses and it is not more than they are just given excuses, they want to enjoy what you want to enjoy but they don't want to pay the sacrifice. And the ones I respect so much are the girls they took their time to be patient and even ask questions and the ones that have invested have been holding since then, and are even ready to add to what they have they feel what they need is to wait till the price goes up for them to sell.

In fact I was surprised how people's interest will so encourage you the more, so let's know how to keep patient and since is not something we are new to we don't need to panic. When ever the price is down rather we should buy more than complain about the price down, one thing we must understand not everyone can do crypto that's for sure.
