Have you ever supported, bought or mined a coin that died later on? Why did you support it? What did you learn from it?

It happens with almost all of us. I invested in few that died at later stage and the reason I invested was there promising team, roadmap, and whitepapers.
But this didn't stop me from investing in new coins.

To be honest, I did previously when im newbie here in crypto. I feel disappointed because after all supporting and trust to this coin the developer and the social media accounts are gone so that I felt sad. I do one mistake and never been happened again. The lesson I've learned here in crypto is before investing in some coins better to do is to think many times and get also an advice or suggestion from our friends who are related here in crypto

I think in cryptocurrency, when it comes to issue of coin, many people have made one or two mistakes and they have learned from it. When deciding on investing in a coin, sometime, we are not so patient to do all necessary research and hence when the coin does not survive the market, we lose. I have once supported a coin and that was when I was a jr member and the coin later disappointed me because it did not meet up to expectation, but thank God today, I am making good moves with my coin.

To be honest I never did that. I think that it will make us uncomfortable with the investment we have. The price of a coin will be very calculated, even when the coin is dead it will be very few enthusiasts. It's a very cheap price, but what it means when we just get a coin that has died and we may just hope that the coin will rise. Logically it is a thing that has very little chance, believe that buying a coin with good credibility is a top choice !!!

People who do not sell such coins always hope to rise that there will be developers who will undertake the project and it will fly up again. Unfortunately, this is rather an exception to the rule.
the dead coin depends on the developer. if they are serious then the coin will not die either. and it could be the problem is in the chaotic financial management and minimum funds

Yes I ever bought several coins that got no value after a while, with a good promotion team and good vision for the project, I tried to invest in the coin but it turns out that the developer could not fulfill the promise, so they abandoned the project and the coin directly plunged down to no value
There are coins that has a good idea and when it will be implemented it would be helpful to its target market but then it cannot be avoided that the developers won't be able to keep their promise. I hold some dead coins too but I did not bought it but instead receive it through bounty campaigns. It is just sad the projects were abandoned when it would have been a good idea but it wasn't able to attract more investors and the team lose their dedication. I hold several coins that has no value now.

I've never supported for a dead coin Smiley). But I think there are a lot of people did it cause they think these coins have good potential in the future so they supported for it. Bitconnect is an example for this case, it's a cryptocurrency created depend on leding system. I already knew that it'll become a trash coin very soon but there were a lot of people still support for it cause they just wanna earn easy money Smiley)

On all the years i do involved in crypto this thing cant really be avoided which we can able to purchase coins without even expecting that it would die inspite on having a very good white paper? Its possibe anytime when developer itself into that project would leave it and jump into another one. This scenario is common. Supporting it on the very first place would have lots of factors where we do base. Either with our own knowledge or being influenced by fellow investors.

There are a few times I supported dead coins. However, I was smart enough to get out before suffering a huge loss. Right now, I understand well the blockchain as well as other coins. Therefore, it is hard for me to make a mistake like that anymore. Currently, I support ethereum, ripple and NEO

there is some coins that raise from long dead stat to rocket to sky , And there is coins where dev team left and community had to take over and went from nothing under 1 cent to 30 dollars like Rai block which I have hodl my coins would have been really rich now  Grin . Sometimes support a coin that you believe in when everyone else leave pays and when it does it pays off really good .

I have not supported a dead coin, but I know that a lot of people support dead coins because they are holding a lot of the total supply. These guys are mad because they are talking about a good coin but it is just a bad coin. They only wanna make some fast profit...

Nope, getting advice from friends who are into this Crypto world will guarantee your success (60% success), don't push too much on your self-thinking if this coin has future, if this coin is real, if this coin has a chance, if this coin bla bla bla... get some advice first!

Well, I am glad you have friends that are better informed than mine, because as far as I am concerned, mine have plenty of info on the latest brands of beer, but not much more.
