Then my suspect is correct. Lower share price when div is announced, makes the annual yeld (look) better.

CryptX, please take into serious consideration the above. he makes an excellent point. BTC regularly takes a dive before the weekend as traders exit the market, putting the dividend and hosting fees on a monday afternoon or a tuesday would see our costs significantly reduced.
