I don’t know if I’d agree that being a hoe or winning at gambling requires a steady income, but lucky for us there are things like signature campaigns and prostitution to help keep the wheels greased. More seriously though, I’ve always believed that “it” is always more about how much someone spends and rarely about how much they make.

Just like being a hoe, (you've got to hit up on the maintenance, health and skin care routine almost every week to keep glowing) ... For the guys, womanizing is expensive too - any habit would either need your full wallets staggering, to keep it the momentum.. drinking, smoking, what have you?.. gambling too.

If they don't have a steady income, it's best if they don't gamble because it could cause them to lose all their money. After all, in gambling, they can face a lot of losses, especially as there is no certainty that they can win from gambling. People who do not have a fixed income should understand that they must be able to get a job that can provide them with a steady income to meet their daily needs. The most important thing in their lives is how they can fulfil their daily needs. Gambling is not their main thing. If they can restrain themselves by not gambling and only focus on looking for work so they can get a steady income, they can feel safe because they don't need to use their money to gamble. They will also not experience serious problems that could arise while they are gambling or after they have finished gambling.

How much consecutive times you gambles doesn't guarantee you the chances to win although trying time after times could meet you a lucky winning somedays and yet gambling remains game of luck. A first time trial in the gambling board can make a straight count which is based on luck while the experienced and those who are addressed professional gamblers keep counting looses due to the fact that they haven't met with their lucky days.

However, your stable financial status doesn't portray the capacity that you have secured winning in the gambling and moreover, gamblers who are financially stabled ain't chasing to win and make profits rather they develops gambling to catch funs

Having an income is necessarily so you can sustain your own vices and gambling activities. It's just a common sense, how can you gamble if you don't have money? because if your answer is to ask or borrow from other people, that is not the right way because you will only have a big problem if the money you owe runs out. in the end you will only have more trouble because where will you get money to pay your debts.

I have watched a short film like this where a person who was just a businessman slowly got interested in gambling and how ended up losing everything within a couple of months. No matter how wealthy a person is. If someone cannot control themself from gambling, it will end up ruining their entire career. It's better if you do not gamble at all. But, whoever already entered there, only a few percentage of people were able to quit gambling.

If you cannot quit gambling, be responsible. Make a target that you won't gamble today if you lose $20 in this session and you will end the session if you win $50 today. The amount could depends on how wealthy you are or how much is your gambling budget is.

You are actually correct because whoever that is gambling and don't have a steady stream of income would always be playing gamble with aggression. because you have loosed the amount you would have used to feed yourself and gambled and still didn't work out as thought. You will leave your live with regret when ever you loose, and that is the last money you had with you. That is where you see Gamblers confronting each other in a gambling hall because of aggressiveness they have in them.

For me, having a regular source of income only allows you to consistently try your luck at gambling, but that doesn't guarantee winning, as you are likely to either win or lose depending on how skillful or lucky you are at the moment. But having a regular source of income is a great advantage for gamblers, most especially if you may have lost all your funds due to the previous game played, as with an extra source of income it enables you to have fund to gamble again.


Gambling addiction are of different stages, as anyone who is said to be an addict is likely to gamble even all he/she has with the mindset of doubling it, which may eventually go wrong. Hence when anyone is said to be an addicted gambler, such act is likely to affect his personal obligation.

Income is always the main thing in life because with this then you will be able to finance all the needs that cannot be tolerated so that you can continue living, someone who does not have a job is those who certainly have finances that are far below average which makes it difficult for them to finance their needs unless they are one of the children of the rich, and this is a real problem that I think most people have experienced before finding a good job that can provide him with income.

I think only for someone who has a good mind along with having a mindset that can limit the allocation of his money on anything especially on his gambling activities, and only a few people like this, even if you previously have good financial management but sometimes there is a considerable possibility for you to destroy everything when you are familiar with gambling, this kind of situation usually happens to gamblers who are too focused on winning.

This is the main point, sometimes a person only thinks on one side, it is true that by having a job or other business that is stable or even growing then it will be able to make it easier for us in terms of making ends meet from the income we get, but if we have habits such as gambling there are actually other bad possibilities that can occur, As we know that gambling has a generally negative point of view in the eyes of society, it is none other than because there is an immeasurable bad impact that can make a person suffer whether it is financially or mentally and psychologically, and this is the reason as you said that gambling has the possibility to make us suffer financially even if we have a lot of good business.

We can't deny the fact that usually when someone feels they have more ability such as in terms of finances then they will allocate larger amounts of money on things they want and one of them may be gambling, and if this feeling and habit continues then obviously they will find a condition where their finances start to have problems due to loss of financial management due to excessive allocation of money on gambling. This is also the reason why rich people can fall into poverty when entering into gambling, the key is only one, as you said, good management and responsibility in their gambling activities.

If they don't have funds to use for gambling, they shouldn't need to seek funds from borrowing money because that could make things difficult for them. They should look for work to make money and not use that money to gamble to double the amount. It won't be easy to get because gambling is not a way to make money. They can lose their money and even use all their money to gamble because they want to keep trying to make money from gambling. And they can indeed allocate their money to gambling so that they don't use more money because that could make them lose a lot of money.

No, being addicted does mean that one will eventually stake and lose all their money in gambling because they can't control the urge and they often chase their losses and know nothing about when they need to stop. Someone who gambles frequently cannot be called an addicted gambler because even responsible gamblers play regularly but they know their limits and budget and when they need to start and when they need to stop.

One indeed needs to have a steady source of income and an inflow of cash if one wants to keep gambling and trying their luck. Even though having more money doesn't increase your chances of winning, it does provide you more opportunities to try your luck and who knows, you might get lucky some day.

I would add a little, apart from not having the funds to use for gambling. without a job will make you worse off financially. because to live you also need money to buy food. So be wise when gambling, if you have a permanent job and a steady income, only set aside a small portion for gambling and don't overdo it to the point of taking your daily money.

A steady income is necessity that everyone must have because this is form of responsibility towards themselves in meeting their living needs, especially for those who like to gamble, it is clear that fixed income must always be prioritized.
Gambling is risky activity and this is reality that no one can deny, there will be conditions where gambler will experience consecutive losses and there will be conditions where gambler will receive several wins.
But victory in gambling cannot always come and it can be concluded that victory in gambling cannot be expected by anyone at any time, the only good attitude is to gamble only to the extent of ability and not to have too much hope.
In gambling, having the hope of being able to provide consistent results is an achievement that is difficult or even impossible to achieve, the determination to make real money is only working or doing business.
With us as gamblers who can have steady income, whatever the outcome of gambling, whether it is small loss or big loss, it is clear that there will be money replaced from the fixed income we have from work or business so that it will prevent us from bad things such as borrowing money.

No class of person that is exempted from having a job even business is a job since you have income coming from it. The point about gambling is self control, if you don't have self control on your bankroll or savings, you will find yourself having a negative gambling experience because when you lose, you will want to keep trying again. To stop gambling is another self control that need strong effort to achieve as an addict you will find it difficult to stop except you don't have means of sourcing for funds.

You are actually correct but I hope the steady income you imply is not your signature campaign money? anyways you are correct because if you have a strategy stream of income it will enable you to have a stake planing, which will enable you have a higher chance of winning. For example if you are receiving like $40 every week you can be marking out $5 for gambling for each week. With consistency there is a probability that you may win big in one of the week days

based on what I see and know, even if you have a stable income or a business, as long as it is mixed with a vices like gambling, it may affect your lifestyle. There are instances that your career or business may be ruined when you reach the point where you can't control your gambling activity especially your time and spending habit because we know that many people are easily getting addicted to gambling especially if you can't handle yourself, That's why being a gambler requires a strong responsibility to avoid having huge problem in the future.

Having a steady income is a must, forget about trying to view this from the angle of a gambler or anything like that, only those that are incredibly rich can get away with not working, the rest of the population has to work and do so for decades.

Now if you were to find yourself without a job, something that happens to everyone at some point during their lives, it is imperative you reduce your expenses as much as possible, and gambling should be one of the first things to go since you need to save every dollar until you finally find another job.

If someone gambles without having a steady income it means they are gambling unwisely and they will likely spend quite a lot of money because they have no control over their money. They are also likely to neglect their responsibilities as a father, by not providing proper food or education to their children because most of their money is spent on gambling or if they are young they may not be productive because most of their time and money is spent on gambling. And that is the reason why a gambler must have a steady income so that he will not neglect his other responsibilities.

How will you fund your gambling harbit if you don't have a source of income? So it is a must that you must have something doing to fund your gambling lifestyle,  but no matter how many source of income we have, even though it's up to ten source, if you as an individual gambles more than you can afford to lose and it doesn't goes your way, it will definitely put you in an awkward situation whereby you will be forced to start chasing your losses,  if you even had an extra fund to continue, but that is actually the end game of every money you have at that moment, because by wanting to get back your losing, you lose even more, so having a source of income or even more is really not the issue, what is really the issue is gambling what you cannot afford to lose, that is the problem most gamblers face.
