Referring to the 2 conditions described by the OP, i think it's better not to have money first before actually investing in bitcoin. Try to imagine, if you have the money to invest in bitcoin (without knowing anything there), but at the same time the bitcoin hype is at its peak, do you have time to do more research? of course you will be afraid to miss the hype. So, i really agree with the important point stated by the OP that it is actually better not to have money first, so that we are not in a hurry and have a lot of free time to learn about bitcoin itself.
Well, what I'm trying to say is that his distinction of bitcoin is a bit narrowed because that doesn't tell the whole story, it divides them easily to the haves and have nots which is wrong because there are some people that have money to invest but are still willing to learn while they are investing, that's why I see it as kind of a bad dichotomy. I didn't claim that OP is wrong but I can't and won't prove anything because I stand by what I am talking about.

OP, that's not true cause this is something that has to do with a vice-versa situation and individual way of doing things.
We have seen some newbies on this forum who didn't have the fund to invest in Bitcoin and still choose not to study to understand the fundamental aspect of it.
While there are also some rich people who took their time to learn about Bitcoin before they invest in it.
That is op opinion and what he think so far about those that have the funds to invest and the people that do not have the funds to invest in Bitcoin. Not everybody that have the fund to invest in Bitcoin will want to follow this step since the way we reason is very different. We think differently and do things in our own ways. This is more of a self discipline about the way we react to things and make investment. It is very wrong for us to quickly jump on making money as an investor without learning and gaining the right skill to take us to the level we ought to be and starr making money.
because actually investing in any asset still requires us to study it first. the rich people might be in too much of a hurry to make money, but I don't think they wouldn't do it with some caution.
people who are oriented towards business development and investment always think things through well. including studying several aspects that will indeed help them in making choices.
I actually don't really have a problem whether I have money or not to invest in Bitcoin. it all depends on each individual. because every potential investor may still have their mentor who will direct them from the start.

It's more efficient to buy Bitcoin than to earn it, because all the earning opportunities in the world are in fiat, and only a few are in Bitcoin, with a lot of competition. And doing faucets, bounties, trading is a really bad earning method, compared to running a small business or just finding a job. But you are right, the people who just bought Bitcoin need to first of all learn all security best practices.
It's hard to argue with this, but there are still nuances. It's not enough just to buy bitcoin, it's much better to choose the moment when it can be done best, because everyone should know about the high volatility that sometimes reaches unthinkable heights in the crypto markets compared to traditional markets. Therefore, even if there are funds available for investment, it is better not to invest everything at once, but to do it in small pieces, gaining the necessary experience.

I've studied most Bitcoin investors, those who have money to invest are the ones going around looking for someone to teach them how to invest, the first thing they want to learn is how to use the exchange to make purchases using Fiat on the exchange, they are always in hurry, they have no time.
Mmm not sure what kind of rich bitcoin investors you've studied (whatever that means) but in that case I just wonder how those people made that money: rich people with a brain know that you don't become rich overnight, just look at Warren Buffet net worth how increased after years and years. Maybe you're talking about people who inherited money, so for them everything looks easy? Also because I really don't understand who and why you should pay to teach you how to use an exchange, even a kid would be able to use an exchange...

Those who don't have money, have all the time to keep learning and reading stuff online about Bitcoin and the crypto space, they have no reason to be in any hurry and it seems they are the ones that avoid the unnecessary dramas in the crypto space because they took their time to learn first.

Do not walk away from Bitcoin investment because you don't have the money, it's even better not to have money because you will have the patience to learn more about everything, and when the money comes, you will be able to avoid many dramas.

I mean I can see your point here, you're going to learn a lot actually if you started to enhance your knowledge more before even starting right. But at the same time it wouldn't make any sense if you're not going to apply what you have learned about cryptocurrency, In my opinion, the best thing to do is just to start now and then learn on your way, with that your saving time by having experience and knowledge. Yes you have a forum where you could learn, and most of the members will help you and teach you, but the experience is the best in this situation.

When I started on cryptocurrency I was just a student so I don't really have money at all that time, I guess it would make sense at its already a good opportunity to learn Bitcoin, You could totally use your knowledge on how you're going to earn money right, it wasn't going to be easy but I didn't really invest on Bitcoin but I earn it that time, when I started my job that is only the time that I started buying bitcoin because I already have a salary.

This is not true in all cases.

Many people that value their money do take their time to make some research about anything they wanted investing in not just Bitcoin, and for Bitcoin being a digital asset it is necessary for anyone willing to invest in it to do some research about the technology behind it before investment. Only those people willing to make quick money will just venture into Bitcoin investment and be eager to make profit.

Right. Without intention i'm sure, I think OP has skewed kinds of people into two brackets. People who buy/can buy and don't know much about what they are doing, and people who are broke and know more.

Of course I'm sure there are a lot of people who are broke and know about the intricacies of Bitcoin, or are learning fast because there are no monetary means to buy and. That doesn't mean it's a good position to be in. Learning Bitcoin and blockchain to a point where you can make a living does not necessarily mean that you will succeed, and definitely isn't a favorable position to be in.

I think it's a personal thing. I believe so because people with a lot of money still take the time to understand the business before going into it. Not everybody hurries into it. People who hurry into investment are people who are more likely to run into scam investments and Ponzi. They just want to get rich quickly out of the scheme, and Bitcoin is not that.

While you have stated an advantage of not having money to invest in this context, there's also a disadvantage.
If you didn't have money to buy Bitcoin when it was 10k dollars in 2017, how will you feel when it was 65k dollars in 2021? There's this feeling you'll feel like you missed out on an opportunity just because you didn't have money to invest.

@OP I read that you sell your land for BTC, so I think your action conflicts with your statement in this thread.  IN Bitcoin investment money is the most important factor to kick-start your Bitcoin investment venture.  You cannot start your investment venture with only knowledge and without money to buy your investment.  At the end of the day, you will use that knowledge to produce money and eventually buy Bitcoin.  So it does not match your statement about having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better.

Op I don't fully agree with you in all cases that people without no money to invest in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency are better than those who have money to invest in terms of learning things about cryptocurrency. as for me i see people without no money to invest more weak in learning because they may not dedicate more time in learning because it may not be that soo valuable to them because they don't have the money to invest but people that have money will like to take their time and dedicate them self in learning because they will not want to lose their money.

It is a good thing to ask for guidance if we have the money and yet low on knowledge about the venture we are interested.  I do not think that every investor are in a hurry since they already have the money, they wanted to make the best out of their time, looking for the fastest way to learn since we all know time is precious too.

Those who don't have money, have all the time to keep learning and reading stuff online about Bitcoin and the crypto space, they have no reason to be in any hurry and it seems they are the ones that avoid the unnecessary dramas in the crypto space because they took their time to learn first.

The problem here is that we cannot invest without money even if we have the knowledge.

So how can you invest in Bitcoin if you don't have the fund?  In the end we still need money to invest in Bitcoin so the idea of having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better makes no sense.  In investment the most precious is time, knowledge and fund.

You are right though, and to add that those who have the money are the ones that easily get scammed due to lack of due diligence or research before investing in coins outside bitcoin, or they easily fall prey to bitcoin investment scam where they tell their victims to invest and earn interest on their investment every day, this one is something I've particularly experienced myself and my savior is that I don't always have the money each time such an offer comes up, else, I probably would have fallen victim to such scam on several occasions, as such offers are sometimes, so juicy that one with the money would be seriously tempted to try it out.

So its just what it is, most times, not having money is sure a blessing In disguise, as it saves us from losing money as well.

Also without experience on it you can’t equally test your knowledge, because knowledge with having that experience is just a shallow understanding of the subject matter. So both should be equally balanced
You are right, i forgot about experience, actually both op's discussed the dependency of the same two entities ( knowledge and money) so in this crowd, i forget to mention out Experience but the point is, one can gain experience if he/she will have money but of course if one wants to learn trading with no money then there comes paper trading, (that's how they can build experience). So, overall, experience an be built after, but first we need knowledge and without we can not even build a good experience.

To get benefit from the Crypto industry knowledge is kry and then comes money and then you can gain experience.

Spending time in learning is never wasted, it doesn't matter whether you have money or not. It is natural that when a big investor comes to invest, the first thing he thinks about is the safety of his money. Rich people know how to use their money and how to manage trading accounts. They are not so inexperienced that they will invest a big amount of money without knowing anything about Bitcoin. Buying bitcoins is not a difficult task, a person who invests his money can find out how to buy bitcoins using fiat with a little internet searching. So it is not a serious matter. But if the person does not acquire trading skills then he may face huge losses from which he will gain experience and avoid making the same mistakes in future. So if a person who wants to be a Bitcoin investor has a huge amount of money, he will find out its proper use.

It's good to learn, but if that learner doesn't have money, how can he invest? Knowledge of Bitcoin will give him experience but it will be important for him to figure out his earning source, and build the ability to invest in Bitcoin. So having money, or not having money is not important to know about Bitcoin, it is important how the individual is taking it.

To be frank, I find the concept appealing. Those who possess financial resources often feel rushed and struggle to make informed decisions when investing. They lack sufficient time to learn and conduct thorough research. Such individuals typically learn from their losses, the hard way. Nevertheless, if you are already familiar with Bitcoin and currently lack substantial funds for investment, you can continue learning about it and make the right decision when you have the necessary financial means.
Those who don't have the capital have no money to waste; thus, you're more careful and considerate when it comes to investing. While what the OP mentioned isn't necessarily true, it's often found in newer users who, as some of us have noticed throughout the forum, are focusing directly on how and how quickly they can multiply and grow their investments. Personally, I can relate to what the OP is referring to since I myself started with zero capital and everything has been earned through my personal work, such as microtasking, signature campaigns, trading, and Altcoin mining, and I'm thankful for the whole experience and journey.

The amount of time one does research can be quite lengthy. If one buys Bitcoin before understanding much of how it works and how to buy and sell it, then at some one will pay an expensive real-time lesson. The guy who cannot buy any Bitcoin and spends his time researching it before he buys any, may have the advantage of learning more about it without losing money to newbie mistakes. But the argument can also be made that during his time researching, the price of Bitcoin may have risen significantly and during such an event, the earlier investor is the clear winner.

So both sides can have their pros and cons.

Personally, I just dove right in. If you have a healthy brain, its easy.

If you have an irrational or rash personality, then studying Bitcoin before investing into it is the preferred course of action for you. It really depends on whether you are confident in your abilities or not. Grin Cool

I'm am very certain sure about what op actually mean and I can say I'm one if the practical example of such investor, I've been studying about crypto trading and investment with zero balance to the extent I missed 2017/18 bullrun, fast forward again to the 2013/24 bull run, I also missed it because I have no money but the knowledge about crypto and Blockchain increases, now I'm currently building a decentralized finance (Defi) platform which will be disclosed soon because my knowledge increases and I got investors for my project.

I may likely take this topic a debate as to why having money and no knowledge vice versa which is pretty much good for crypto space.
