When going back to

1050 volt
20 power
1000 core
1450 mem
1600 mem volts

I'm getting 540mhs with 1.5% stale and 0 GPU errors.

 I want moar hash!

I'm using a 7950 BTW.

950/1670

Work 256
Aggress 20
Share 5
Concurrency 24576

I removed vectors

Getting 2.5% GPU errors now

Yes

And just don't put it in the config

So the goal is to keep a .57 ratio?  1000/1755, 1100/1930 etc....

And by saying vectors values are nothing does that mean 0 or leave it stock?

They're using core speeds up to 1100 mhz and reaper with aggression 18, 19, or 20. They're also running the memory up to 1800 mhz+ by overvolting it in afterburner (eg 1.7v instead of 1.6v stock).

And obviously set power limiter to +20%.

The only other thing they do differently is set share threads = 5 and don't set the vectors value to anything, so try that too I guess.

Already posted settings... see sig thread

Tacotime, your thread was the first place I started when configured my setup, thanks for that by the way.  However, I am only able to output around 515kh/s using the config settings you posted.  Here's what I've tried to no avail:

My system: Win 7 x64 (i7 920, 16GB Ram, XFX 7970 Black 1Ghz)
Drivers: I've tried 12.7, 12.8, 13.1, 13.2 beta 7 (12.8 worked best)
SDK: I've tried 2.6, 2.7, 2.8 (doesn't seem to change hash rate so stuck with 2.Cool

Core: 900 Memclock: 1575

Reaper Config:

Code:
Host xxxx
....
protocol litecoin

worksize 256
vectors 1
aggression 13
threads_per_gpu 1
sharethreads 32
lookup_gap 2
gpu_thread_concurrency 21712

For some reason aggression 13 works better than 20 on my card and looking at the listings in the Litecoin Mining Hardware comparison https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/wiki/Mining-hardware-comparison that's getting the best results.  I'm stable at 20 but hash rate is reduced significantly.  I've also tried a bunch of different thread concurrency settings without any luck.  I'm considering returning this card and just getting another 5970 but I'd like to see if I can max out the settings for comparison before I do that.

I also tried CGMiner but got around the same numbers.  Any help would be appreciated.

I can get 760-800 Kh/s using my 5970 with cgminer -scrypt. Costs a lot less than a 7970 too.

Sorry this is not helpful considering the title of the thread and topic being discussed.  I can also get high hash rates on a 5970 but we're discussing how to get the best hash rates out of a 7970.

For anyone trying to do this, they just use a different core:memory ratio (0.57 instead of 0.68 for 7950) and memory overvolting to achieve these hash rates.

Eg core 900 mhz, core voltage 0.975v, memory 1575 mhz, memory voltage 1.6v (stock should hit this, though), thread_concurrency 21712

Have replied all the pm !

send me the guide too, if it really works i will donate ltc Wink

EDIT:
got it, but cannot get it to work, it wants higher lookupgap
nvm, i sent you 1 ltc  Tongue
