for me, I do not really listen to bad words about bitcoin from others, let alone it's just an opinion, I do not want to take a headache, if I think this is true and promise, I will continue to live it, without having to listen to the words of the fool as above.

I don't care, and neither should you guys do. It's just them abusing their position to shake up the market in order to open even larger positions in the market, so don't fall for it, and don't let it ruin this fantastic sentiment.

The sooner we ignore this pure nonsense, the sooner they realize that it doesn't result in anything anymore, and thus there will be no more incentive to even attempt to ~ Bitcoin keeps growing regardless of what people say.

Just look at how much drama we have experienced in the last years. Current levels clearly show that it didn't have even a slight impact on the long term price ~ long term is all that matters, especially if you're a firm hodler.

For every successful athlete, businessman, people, thing, etc. there is a crab that will pull through the way up and Bitcoin is no exemption here but it is a matter of choice if you will be affected by the negative people that surrounds you in telling what they want with Bitcoins. Dimon the Banker guy is a desperate man now because he clearly foresee his future if he will not fight Bitcoin.

Jamie Dimon is full hypocrisy though and he is proving it in each negative word that is says about Bitcoin, by the way We must thank him for a free publicity because of him Bitcoin is surging in price with his madness.

What I noticed about his statement was that when he made the first one and there was panic in the market that led to some crash, he felt himself and knew there is something about him that people really believes but now that it seems his idea is not holding it stand rather, bitcoin is  getting stronger, then he suddenly lost his voice and decide not to say anything again at the same time does not seem interested.

However, he is correct about the volume of transactions being done in a day by the banks but that shows there is a long way for bitcoin to go but that does not mean we won't get there. Its a matter of time.

it looks like he hates bitcoin !??! But let someone else say anything about bitcoin, because it does not affect the progress of bitcoin at this time.
it seems that if someday this bitcoin becomes the world currency, and more and more demand in the market, it will be more people like that ,, never mind such a person need not be responded ..

If he doesn't like bitcoin then who cares too right?
He does not own the decision of the people using bitcoin. He is done with that? We are done with them and all the news circulating manipulating bitcoin value.

good for her daughter that has coins in her side .. maybe 1 day bitcoin will lose its price but for now lets cherish its success for now

Yeah. Let us enjoy the road while it is still of benefit from everyone. He does not care on bitcoin because he got a lot of money on his pocket right now.

Does his daughter have an account on bitcointalk too? Lol

Jamie tried to launch an attack on the bitcoin thinking that his opinion holds a lot of weight. So he gave us an 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to buy bitcoin at the lowest possible rate. We must be thankful for it. Because if he didn't release his statement on bitcoin, then we wouldn't have the chance to buy it at this price. So I share my sincere gratitude to him for this immense opportunity.

However, he was unaware that a majority of bitcoin investors simple don't give a damn about what he thinks. He is indeed a smart banker whose opinion holds a lot of value for the stock market, but not in the bitcoin market. He is worried about his business and hence just took a chance to destroy bitcoin by a statement and miserably failed. I pray to god that he regain his lost concise do what he does the best i.e. run a bank with people's money and never come back to bitcoin market again.

from the article:

"When I made that 'stupid statement' [calling bitcoin a] fraud, my daughter sent me an email saying, 'Dad, I own two bitcoins,'" Dimon then joked, "My formerly smart daughter."

What the hell is wrong with this guy? but seriously, at this point, asking Jamie Dimon his opinion on Bitcoin is like asking a cab driver his opinion on Uber. In the next decade, or two, when bitcoin exceeds JP morgan, seeing this guy's face while he watches how his empire crumbles and cryptocurrency becomes the main form of currency worldwide, priceless.

Not our problem, and we couldn't care less as well. As long as he still leaves negative remarks about bitcoin, it will be another buying opportunity for us since most people buy whatever this banker said. Also, bitcoin would still flourish without these bankers' support; heck, bitcoin thrived even with the absence of its creator, what more if there's less shitty persons around, right?

Well, if he is that dedicated to saying that Bitcoin is a fraud or a meme, especially when his company bought into it based on some presumably real screenshots related to recently acquired assets.

At this point I don't really care what is going on with this dude since there is nothing that can be done about whatever he's saying beyond ignoring him, but it seems highly suspect that JP Morgan would be involved in a Bitcoin-related company and then turn around and say that the entire thing is set to fail. I'll assume this is some kind of scheme to pick up more value from whatever he can manipulate the market with, and he'll be involved again in the future. Or he's trying to set popular opinion against Bitcoin so anything that ""happens"" to it will be viewed without surprise.

Hello author! I am agree with all of you and  I think that difference people have differing opinions. One group say I don't like bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general! Another group say that Criptocurrensy its a new era of our life. Here you cannot be sure in nothing and better don't listen to nobody and make your own conclusions about any fields and areas in our life and no matter what says Morgan or Trump you need have your own  positions!
But i am sure that those people who are not giving importance to bitcoin they will regret in future. because bitcoin is the need of the day and when they will understand and realize the importance of bitcoin they will surely resume their decision and will accept bitcoin then. In fact those people who know about the importance of bitcoin they never like to quit using or holding bitcoin but they are trying to increase their investment more and more.

I don't care about what people say, I just believe something that has been proven and I think so far bitcoin has given me proof not just wishful thinking. and that is the reason why I decide to choose it and invest my money to bitcoin, I will never hear the words of those who say they are the most correct. if they have their own opinions then I also have different views with them.

Jamie Dimon says he's not going to talk about bitcoin anymore
Published 8:27 AM ET Thu, 12 Oct 2017
Jamie Dimon, chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase, says he's "not going to talk about bitcoin anymore."
In September, Dimon called bitcoin a "fraud," while other major Wall Street executives have taken a more favorable or nuanced view of digital currencies.
JPMorgan is already involved in some blockchain projects, primarily related to digital currency network ethereum.

Jamie Dimon says people who buy bitcoin are 'stupid'
Published 8:27 AM ET Thu, 13 Oct 2017
JPMorgan Chase Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon can't stop talking about bitcoin.
"If you're stupid enough to buy it, you'll pay the price for it one day," Dimon said in response to a moderator question at an Institute of International Finance conference Friday.
The CEO said he could care less about what bitcoin trades at. "The only value of bitcoin is what the other guy'll pay for it," Dimon said. "Honestly I think a lot of the buyers out there are out there jazzing it up every day so you'll buy it too, and take them out."
Bitcoin hit a record high Friday above $5,800, up more than six times in price for the year.
On Thursday, Dimon said during a post-earnings conference call with media that he's "not going to talk about bitcoin anymore." The executive called bitcoin a "fraud" in September and said it "won't end well."
Dimon did add on Friday that he believed the blockchain technology behind bitcoin was valid, but he does not understand the value of "non-fiat" digital coins, that is, digital currencies which are not backed by a government.
"Who cares about bitcoin? The world economy is so big," Dimon said, noting the bank moves about $6 trillion in money around the world every day.
In comparison, bitcoin only has a market capitalization of less than $100 billion.
"This is the last time I'm going to answer any questions about bitcoin, because I really don't care," Dimon added.
"When I made that 'stupid statement' [calling bitcoin a] fraud, my daughter sent me an email saying, 'Dad, I own two bitcoins,'" Dimon then joked, "My formerly smart daughter."

Let other people say anything they want. It is our choice and we believe that there is something for us to gain from Bitcoin in the future. Dimon is just afraid that Bitcoin may overcome Fiat and Governments someday.
I think he decided to stop to talk about bitcoin due to many people jumped on him with critic about his words about bitcoin meanwhile JP Morgan was investing in bitcoin. Many people saw in it a double game, cause of Diamon's words about bitcoin is fraud were as an addition reason of bitcoin fall after news from China.
