You're welcome here, buddy. I think you should thank whoever invited you to the forum because they gave you a nice introduction to bitcoin. Let's just say that person is truly one of your greatest friends. This is the location where you should learn everything there is to know about bitcoin. This forum is a place where you will learn about 99% of what there is to know about bitcoin, and it's also a place where you might learn something you haven't seen before online. If you ask someone about learning bitcoin and they direct you to any other places that are not here, keep in mind that they don't want you to learn anything useful.

You can't expect that joining a forum will automatically make you successful in bitcoin; you have to be smart and make sure you understand it because in everything you do, if you don't understand it, it means that you don't know anything about it. This forum gives every member the right to ask whatever questions you want to, and it also makes you understand that bitcoin is not only an investment but is also a way of saving your money for future use.

You are really welcome to this forum. The person that invited you has invited you to the right place where you can learn with patience anything about Bitcoin.
Being in a space like this forum is the first thing that must be thanked to those who invited him because being in this bitcoin forum can make him a person who will gain various experiences about bitcoin, crypto and all other general knowledge depending on how he utilizes the purpose of being here.

Do take your time to learn about the forum rules and regulations to enable you stay long in the forum. Once again, you are highly welcome.
This is something that often hinders and makes people reluctant to stay long because along the way they will encounter differences of opinion and will receive sharp criticism.
If people can't stand all these things plus the shift away from their original goals, then people will run away.
Usually people who are willing to take the time to learn the rules and everything related to the main goal will last a long time.

OP, are you ready?

OP, welcome to your bitcoin journey, congratulations from this forum. u mentioned here that you have been learning about Bitcoin for a long time but didn't know about this forum, but now you know, you are definitely benefited and glad. Also, I would advise you as you have been familiar with Bitcoin for a long time and may have invested in Bitcoin. And already many of you have given links about Bitcoin in various ways, take a look at them, and hopefully you will learn something good. Also, I would like to give you some advice regarding wallets, of course if you are investing in bitcoins you will need a wallet first. If you don't use a wallet, then there is definitely a risk to your money, in which case you should never use a decentralized exchange. That's why you should use a hardware wallet with security and security for your money, use strong wallets like Mycelium and Electrum. If you use these powerful wallets, the seed phrases you keep in your wallet will be kept in custody. In that case you need to know some information about the wallet as it will be useful for you as a newbie.

First of all, let me say to you, welcome to bitcointalk.

That you are here to learn about bitcoin is very appropriate because this forum is the oldest forum that discusses bitcoin, many friends will give you important links as basic guidelines for you to read and study so that you can easily understand it, so study it carefully. And of course it must be accompanied by patience. The important thing is, if you are really serious about learning Bitcoin, don't be lazy about reading because all the threads here will increase your insight into Bitcoin, and also about increasing your account ranking.

As a beginner, you will definitely be confused by this forum, and in the end they will quickly give up, because there are lots of newbies who come but never appear on this forum again. Therefore, my advice is never give up, keep the enthusiasm to continue learning, if you don't fully understand, ask again because the seniors here will definitely answer.

Welcome to bitcointalk forum, there are certain guidelines and certain rules in the forum. As a newbie, you must know the rules of the forum. The forum has some pinned posts in each section which is very important for a new member. As a new member you must try to read the pin posts carefully. At first you may have trouble to understand the common things but no reason to despair if you try you will definitely know everything gradually. Important points have already been shared in your post so I don't think there is a need to share the same again. Try to learn about the general topics regularly in the section you are linked to, hopefully you will be aware of the primary topics.

Welcome to the forum op, feel free to be part of us as you have journeyed the right path to getting more knowledge about Bitcoin, dedication, interest, and time are all you need here to succeed. Spend more time to learn and do your research before making any investment decision. The cryptocurrency market is risky, and you should invest with an amount of money that you can afford to lose.

From your posts, I get the impression of a successful person who already understands something. How exactly do you need help if it is clear that you are not a beginner and are calmly discussing trading? It would be more correct if you shared your knowledge since you wrote that you already have some achieved goals. Tell us about them. Smiley

Bitcoin tends to be risky in all ramifications either you holding (using trusted and secured wallets with strong password in order to avoid penetration by other parties) or trading (which entails the use of technicals analysis, price action and indicators). But the risk can be minimise if you are loaded with the appropriate information (knowledgeable and experienced).

If you intend to learn about Bitcoin, then you have come to the right forum. There is nothing about the coin that you can not learn from this forum,  just navigate through the forum and pick your areas of interest. This community is made up of people from different parts of the world with different cultures and traditions so you have to expect some form of misconceptions and sometimes arguments about different issues.

If you are here to learn then you should be teachable and correctable. You might make mistakes that might warrant correction from the community, some might be polite or rude, but don't take it to heart. You should also avoid the use of Chatbox to make posts and avoid plagiarism. Make sure you reference the source of the information you share in the forum if they are not from you. If you can read the links you have been referred to,  you will have the best of time in this community.

Welcome to the forum mate. The links that are given above is enough but I would like to give you some tips or pointers. If you plan to create a wallet then you should choose the wallet provider where it is open source which means you can see the code in how it is built or created. You should also pick the wallet that is non-custodial where it's up to you on keeping it safe unlike the custodial wallet where the wallet provider is the one who keep the wallet information (like seed phrase) safe. Well, better start learning about the forum rules to avoid problems if you violate a forum rules unintentionally. Good luck.

Hey buddy,  I hope here you will get your answers to the questions very briefly and according to your question.

I want to know something about your trading portfolio,  I didn't think that it will matters or may be it needs,  but bitcoin is a coin in which if we start from the very low amount,  we can't get that much of the profit by starting from a low portfolio. And also,  bitcoin is now a days moving upward,  which is a better sign of getting into profit. So,  you should get some knowledge about its analyzation,  how to analyze bitcoin and then it would be far better to Hodl it for better time. Things that we think is not matters a lot,  but in sometimes that can change the entire luck of a person.

Secondly, before asking any Question or Posting any new topic make sure to check the relevant keywords in the Search Bar on the forum. It will help you to figure whether it is worth posting or not as you can check the previously created topics there,
I think there is nothing wrong in posting something which is already discussed here before. Because till now I have read about the features of BTC about like 100 times but every time I learned something new because each OP comes with a different type of explanation and from that explanation I got many ideas and understanding of not only BTC but other related technologies. And other than this, repeating topic sometimes work like a notification reminder to remind us about something.
On the last but not the least best fo luck for your journey ahead... Well i can be so sure that some of the points i did mentioned are already covered as I havn'nt read the whole thread yet but most of the information will be in top posts... Still if anything important got missed in any post you can read other for a better understanding.
It is not wise to say that, every piece of information will be on the top posts because many members post useful replies that lie on other than the first pages. But the only flaw is, that many members do not make it to other pages even the OP can not make it to the 3rd page.

If they would then they will gain huge information just from reading one whole topic.

I won't say that its a bad/good approach to introduce yourself because here, for most people privacy does matter, but I would really like to make you familiar with a couple of things you need as a newbie, You need good topics here is a topic named Encyclopedia of the good topics on every category. Choose from them to read for informational and educational purposes.

Welcome to the library of BTC and the crypto sphere. I hope you will enjoy your time here and learn and earn a lot and keep growing. You must do your own research and do not try to get spoon-feeding from someone, because the person who will try to teach you something about BTT, will teach you what he has learned so far and that is limited.

But if you would make your own efforts then you might cross that person and learn new things that your source might have not known about.

You will learn a lot but you should try to start from the history of the BTC then you will come to know about the importance of this forum and the BTC.  The most iconic bitcointalk threads. History on Bitcointalk. and after getting familiar with the history of BTC you might want to learn about the rules and regulations of this forum, in that case, you should consider reading this thread --> Comprehensive guide to Bitcointalk. Welcome to Bitcointalk.org

I believe the first thing any newbies should do once they have signed up an account here is to go through the rule[1] of the forum so as to avoid any issues that might arise when one is unaware of the rules.

And since you stated that you  needed some guidance I'll leave you with some links to resources that will help you get started, so do well to go through them i.e if you're really serious about learning bitcoin or crypto as a whole.

Trust me, if you really take your time and go through the forum and read previous threads that have been created you'll see that there are tons of information hidden in here and all you have to do is "search[2][3]".
And once again welcome to bitcointalk I hope you have a smooth learning journey.

Hello everyone, I am newbie and it of great pleasure to be part of this forum. I have had alot about bitcoin for long but not known to me that there's a forum created like this for issues concerning bitcoin to be discussed. I am overwhelmed by this and accolades given to the person that introduced me. The aim is to be of assistance and show me way forward in order for me to know more about bitcoin. Will really be joyous if the assistant is being rendered.
