^^^ Simply an example of what is coming to the rest of the world.

If Bilderberg can retain its congeniality, they will be able to rule the world... divide and conquer.

What is the chinese government even planning are they going for a world domination ? like what hitler did ? I've heard the news that china is in total chaos right now there are tons of riots, cop killings and the rise of crime rate has increase in there. Even china is looking to expand their territory by invading neighbouring countries their island's and minerals and then build a military base. Maybe that's what the reeducation camps is all about to gather workers they might be plotting or building something.

You think the Chinese stopped using detainees for manual labor? I remember that was the usual thing done in these "reeducation" camps that were located in rural areas. I believe Deng (the guy who opened up China) himself was sent to one to work farms.

But yeah, these days it's probably just easier to use them as hostage facilities to cow Chinese family members abroad.

The reeducation camps you mentioned have been abolished in 2013.
Those revived in Xinjiang are of another kind.
I think CCP has found out the efficiency of the labours in such camps are inferior compared to those who serve in a typical Chinese sweatshop.
And to serve those sweatshops, the labours should be brainwashed first, then some basic skills taught.
From some perspective, CCP didn't lie. In these camps, they do provide skill trainnings which would make those muslims good cheap labours for sweatshops.
.

It seems they got rid of the rural ones but it seems they now have ones that look like apartment complexes in the outskirts of cities in places other than Xinjiang. I remember seeing videos in the news about a person looking for his parents, they took a video of a condominium where they are likely held.

These look less suspicious and can house more people. You can just keep them isolated in rooms or you can conducts seminars in them so yes, this would be the preferred model now.

Reading through the article, I just get a feeling that the CCP is trying to brainwash the detainees in the camps.
That is precisely what they are doing. They are also trying to scare the detainees and their families into speaking and acting in ways that conform with how the Chinese government wants everyone to act.

Yes.
Those sweatshops allowed the average Chinese get a 100% wage increase every 5 years for the last 20 years.
The average Chinese worker has a wage higher than a worker in Serbia.
20 years ago it was 10 times lower.
900$ GDP/capita
Today it's 9000.

There's not really an easy solution to this.

We've known about these concentration camps for years now and we know that millions of Muslims are within these camps getting tortured and brainwashed with propaganda. What's the solution? China is the second largest economy in the world and the most populated nation with nukes and extraordinary military power with economic leverage on the U.S. They have developed countries by the balls and there isn't a way to negotiate with the largest communist state in the world. There's no way to place sanctions on China so economic retaliation isn't possible. Military intervention is completely out of the question with mutual ensured destruction guaranteed. At this point, not a single piece of legislation has been produced condemning China for it's use of concentration camps which tells you what you need to know about the delicate relationship with China and the U.S.

China is going to be the next biggest threat to the entire world when it comes to threats to fundamental human rights. It's true that the Chinese have no care when it comes to the rights of its citizens and example of this is how they are governing Hong Kong at the very moment, the only thing that currently prevents them from going there to stop the uprising is the international community. But I am very skeptical about the whole organ harvesting story. It's just unbelievable.

Its been a long issue of human rights violations in China and nothing happens. Too sad that capable countries turn blind eyes on these issues because they too want China's investments. Money talks.

BTW, organ harvesting/ organ snatching in China is real as I read some articles before. Though I don't know if its government-sponsored or an isolated incident but paints a bad image for China.

Surprised that NYT covered this story. The outside world has already heard about the reeducation camps before so I'm not surprised that it is still ongoing. That they've opened up their economy don't mean they'll just change these policies. It seems it actually allowed them to EXPAND these programs since they now got more money.

What shocked me was organ harvesting being done to the Uyghurs they put in these camps. Even I never imagined the Communists doing it.

Don't forget, hundreds of thousands in camps waiting to have their organs harvested for sale on the open market is nothing compared to the genocidal policy of temporarily holding people who willing cross the border illegally for later deportation. Now THOSE are the REAL concentration camps.

Haha! Those people just wanted a good life. Children? OF COURSE they are travelling with THEIR parents, they have strong family values. And then these heartless monsters put all those lil kids into concentration camps and turn them into burritos. Such oppression! Much racism! How dare they!

Of course it's just Trump who committed this atrocity. Who else can be THAT evil?  Roll Eyes

First, thanks for sharing this article. It has opened my eyes to why a lot of Chinese people are fleeing away from their country and reasons why they don't like it in China, in General. For the NY Times to cover this would help open eyes to many people.

Anyways, I am surprised to see that there are still things like this happening in the world and this is probably why China has a lot of rules, including that they are a large country, to begin with, to consider stuff like
  • Internet Censorship [1]
  • Monitoring every citizen [1]
  • Closing discussion boards [2]
  • Limiting religious sentiments [3]

There is really something deep going on with that and being told that "Everything is going to be okay" and "To Be Grateful" towards the detention of the family is absurd. It would be hard for the victims to have any say once they are branded "terrorists" in another country. They would just be detained and hope for the best, and that's just not good.

I'm just hoping this doesn't happen to other places because this clearly shows how China wants to take control over everything and once you give resistance to them, they would execute the "Absolutely No Mercy" rule to you.

This is the thing I think we need to note. Which is horrible, and shouldn't be tolerated at all in then modern day. Even further, I think that the craziest part is that we swore to never allow another extermination of people to happen again, and to never tolerate the atrocities that were put upon the Jews, Disabled, Old People, Women (etc), to happen again in the modern world.

But that's not what we let happen. We've let China FUCKING HARVEST THE ORGANS OF THEIR prisoners while these people are still alive. They're not feeding the people, they're dying of starvation. We should right now sanction China to end the atrocities that they're committing upon the Muslims and then upon the people in Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong they're literally firing upon people with live ammunition to stop the protesters. They're SHOOTING at protesters.

We should never stop in our attack on China for the horrible things that they're doing in the world. They won't stop unless we send a clear message with clear punishments for their actions.

This is how they control their people and stamp out dissent. The rule they have in place, including those regarding their social credit scores are designed to keep those at the top of the Communist party in power.

It is a fact and is well documented even among mainstream media if you bother to look.

The New York Times published1 over 400 pages of leaked documents from the Chinese Communist party. One of them talk about scripting2 for government officials to tell students who have returned home from school to learn their parents have been detained in a reeducation camp. Included in 'that their behavior could either shorten or extend the detention of their relatives' in the reeducation camps.

It is estimated there are a million people in various Chinese reeducation camps, and depending on the accuracy of this estimation, this could rival the Concentration camps the Nazis ran in World War 2.

The documents themselves are in Chinese, but the below articles talking about the documents are written in English.

It wasn't just organ harvesting, it was organ harvesting while the people were still alive and were fully able to feel everything. No medicine given to these people. Their organs just ripped out while they're stil living, they're all working in fucking work camps.

China has LITERAL concentration camps in their country, and the west turns a blind eye because its good for business.
