All paid signature campaigns should be banned.
That all sounds reasonable and wise.

Question for both of you:

Where did you get these addresses.  In other words exactly how were they generated?

Are you both using the same wallet?  Tell us exactly how you are using the wallet:  mobile, website, old plugin, new plugin, etc.

Also, tell us the exact version of the wallet you are using.

Well the address used is a single block chain address no other address's generated with that account,
i use the wallet as temporary low yield storage for the purpose of buying mining hardware on the same pc it was generated, never moved the address or signed it in anywhere else.

but i have recently found out that there's a block chain spoof website that snatches your login details when you sign in ,im not sure but i might have inadvertently signed in to the spoof website and gave them the login details to my account stupid i know i should have checked the URL which i normally would ,
the website is down now and it was right at the top of Google search it was back up briefly but went down with in the hour ,there is a post on here somewhere about this spoof website

i have now changed all block chain passwords and have enabled the secondary password along with automatic wallet back up sent to my email (my email is encrypted) with sms alerts and logs turn on,

Enabling 2FA will help in some case (like when your password has been leaked), but not in some case (like when someone has your unencrypted wallet backup).

where can i encrypt my wallet backup?

With that question, I assume you already have an unencrypted backup wallet file.
The easiest way to encrypt it, is to use an archive software such as 7Zip to zip it with a strong password.

lol, you're right  Roll Eyes
thanks anyway  Grin

how about the email wallet backup?
do u think it's good to have wallet backup at your email?
Yes, it is useful to have a encrypted wallet backup at your email, when you lose your computer or other wallet files, you can retrieve your wallet back using that. However, make sure that all your wallet backups that you have are all encrypted with a strong password. If a hacker manage to get your unencrypted wallet backup, all your coins are gone.

How common is this?
It depends on the following:

- Do you have a weak password? (most especially: short? 1 word with no special characters?)
- Do you use any password multiple times on different sites? And specifically your blockchain wallet password?
- Do you have proper protection against viruses?
- Did you ever make a backup of your wallet?

I have google authenticator on all my accounts, hope that at least helps.

What do you mean "someone send it the wallet that you don't know"? who is someone? You mean someone else has control of your wallet? And if It's sent you wont get it back anyway.

First, read the thread. Second, use common sense, how would he know who the thief was? It's like saying, "I got robbed" and the police asking you "Who did it"....
WTF.

but how could he possibly do that? Is it possible to do that?
I tried to look at that accounts history and saw a lot of transactions other than me in just a few hours..

Do you have 2FA enabled on blockchain.info?

I've been recently playing on some Dicesite gambling.. And started at around 0.0018 in my wallet.
After a few days, just have some luck and by doing some investments on other players I made it
Bigger it turns to 0.015. But suddenly last night, I want to deposit some btc in my wallet at the site
Then I suddenly lost all my coins in my wallet someone send it to an address in which I dont know Sad

Those coins were are my hardwork on faucets and risk by gambling but suddenly lost Sad
hope someone might help me to recover it.. It just a little amount though Sad But still it was my pure
hardwork Sad

Sorry to hear your loss, but there is no way you can recover your bitcoin.
What you can do now is to scan for malware, use different passwords on different sites, and enable 2FA whenever possible.

I guess the cause is any of these reasons:

- weak password
- same password on another site
- virus/keylogger
- unencrypted backup in email

Honestly it might be a low price to learn more about secure passwords and how to protect your computer. A start is this article: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Wallet_Security_Dos_and_Don%27ts_%28Windows%29 and indeed use two factor auth in the future for any site where you store bitcoins/money + your email (and limit the amount that you store on sites.)

(I understand 0.015 can be a lot for some and sorry for your loss, but it could be worse if you have more in the future.)

and .. not using an offline wallet .
