The transaction now doesn't exist on blockchain. So I believe it was never confirmed, and then it got cancelled.

yes this transaction has been confirmed, I had to wait 4 days for this lol

Payedouts for fees make transactions a lot faster. Since he didnt give you much, he didnt want to pay extra apparrently. Hope it confirms for you soon and happy birthday!

haha yeah so was my friend is very stingy, ok thanks for the birthday wishes Smiley

Blocktrail says it's double spend of this. So yeah, probably sender sent it again with the fees.

Indeed. Free transactions are very slow. Don't be greedy and help miners to do their job lol

whether anyone can explain, how long it will happen?

https://blockchain.info/tx/dfb1022111f80c4967ed38674297b346443ae2e7d0595358fc7beabeaff8dbe3.

My friend send bitcoin to me, and send 0.0001. (he joked to send me 0.0001) I want to ask, it's almost 24 hours is still not confirmed, so that the existing balance in the wallet of my friends cant send to wherever? ( he cant send the final balance)

and what this mean "Estimated Time Confirmation Within 6 Block (Medium Priority)
  "

Hmm this is the case why.

Quote
Fees   0 BTC
If you want the transaction to be confirmed faster, you should input some fees for the miner. In that way the transaction will be processed faster and will not be placed in the low-medium priority. Oh and btw, why would he send 0.0001? It's just like he sent the miners' fee to you in this case.

Actually, when I was new to BTC, I was very curious in doing new things all the time, and so I also tested such txns, in which in one TXN I sent 0.0001 to one address without fee and 0.0001 with 0.00002 fee to another, the one with the fee was confirmed way before the one sent without fee, I have deleted the key of that address as I don't use it anymore, instead I would have shown you the TXNs...

True but it will have very low priority and that's what I said. And, you don't need to put 0.00002BTC, 0.00001BTC would be okay.

BTW, it isn't TXN, it is TXID. Wink

Oh ok fine, I am sorry it was a typo in a hurry... Tongue
Anyways, thanks for letting me know, but as I said, it was confirmed before the one I sent without fee, and the time gap between both getting confirmed, if I might not be wrong, was 15 hours.
so, your transaction(without fee) take how many hours?
For this tx, once this is confirmed, this page will show you 'how long it took to be confirmed'.

I don't remember the exact time as I said before, but I remember the time gap between both of them getting into a block and being confirmed, it was ~15 hours...

Don't mind but the guy (your friend) who sent you 0.0001 must be crazy as it's considered as medium priority providing fees itself, and sending such a small amount, he should have at least added some fee like 0.00002 so that it could have confirmed till now.

0.0001BTC/1000 bytes are considered high priority not normal. Smiley The amount you suggested him will also take a lot of time, it will most probably have very low priority.
