The most reliable one is myetherwallet.com. In this wallet you will first create a pass. After that you will have the utc file keystone for security download it and after that you will receive your private key. The most valuable security you've got, don't misplace it. But there were many phishing sites mew is involved like myetherwaliet.com. Look at the difference wallet and waliet. Becareful.

You can use exodus (https://www.exodus.io/) or just use myetherwallet.com

This exodus wallet looks interesting and worth using I am using jaxx wallet for multiple use and still looking for more secure wallet that is password protected and with seeds you can control thanks for posting will use this and check the difference compare to another multi wallet coin.

That's not tested and reliable wallet for and still the campaigns form previous Ico of that exodus wallet was still not distributed to their participants, I would highly recommend myetherwallet for you and I don't experience any problem about that. It even give me more secured holdings and I always feel safer when I do trades online for my tokens. It's encryption was very secured due to back-up wallet and private key prior accessing your tokens.

Set EXODUS, but don't understand where the seed, pw, etc.. Huh
If so, you better use myetherwallet.com because it will make it easier for you to receive and manage the token that you will receive in the future.

I think so many are wearing from myetherwallet.com, and why are you looking for another, I think myethr is nice and safe.

well we can use coinbase wallet , it is actually better than going to a website to store ETH , it also stores BTC and LTC .
obviously all the wallet address would be different,
it shows the ups and downs  or we can say fluctuating values of these crypocurrencies , the app is user friendly and not as complicated as myetherwallet.com .
it if you fell more safe with a private key of your own wallet to access it then you should probably go for myethetwallet.com or you can also try any other like wavewallet.io ,poloniex wallet etc:-
these sites would also create a seed for you to make your account even more secure and so that only you can access .

My understanding is that MyEtherWallet is the most secure.  Whatever you do, please make sure you go to the LEGIT website because there are fake sites that look like the real deal and will steal your private key when you try to log in.  Its a nightmare of mine and I have so little in there, lol.

I would recommend you consider using exodus, jaxx or coinbase to store your ethereum. I consider these wallet fast, secure and user friendly. I tried using myetherwallet but it seems to be very complicated, so I stopped using it.
Myetherwallet what is complicated in that. i think this is an easy way to access your wallets with only your private keys. And to open every menu, you need to unlock this is the best wallet for me to save my ETH coin. I am using this wallet and not facing any issues till today. Ofcourse it is up to you in which you feel comfortable that wallet you can use.

So many ETH wallet exist on this time, but always choose the wallet that didn't hold your Private Key and you're the only own it. Not just to be more secure but you can store ethereum token directly to that wallet nor access the wallet on different place.

Interested in the wallet for the desktop, with a password, seed, etc.
I suggest you to use ethereum wallet . You can go to the myetherwallet.com site and create your wallet for ethereum . It is accessible not only in password , it has also a private key to access the account you create. Also there is a wavewallet.io , they are also using ethereum and you can use it as an ethereum wallet also.
Yeah I suggest it too because this is what I'm using and I think its security is great because you don't have to use password instead you need to use the private key provided to you when you created an account.

I can suggest myetherwallet.com. It has private key for you to access your account privately. Also, it is not only private key that can access your account, you can choose there. Myetherwallet.com is a website that will create you an ethereum wallet but it is not very secured so it is you that will make your account secured. Also, don't keep many ethereum there because it can be hack and your ethereum might lost.

If you insist on a desktop wallet give a try to Jaxx.io. I know it's a multicurrency wallet and may sound insecure to have all eggs in one basket, but in anyways you will own the private keys and you can move to another wallet whenever you want...
